Timothee Chalamet - the 34th Annual Gotham Awards, December 2, 2024, New York, New York
Hi dear Silvy, look at this interesting article which states what we suspected... Can't believe Brian and his team thought it would be beneficial for his career :(
"How Timothee Chalamet Lost the Oscar: No One Would Tell Him to Leave Kylie Jenner at Home, And to Dress Up"

I'm saying this from months π―π― the sudden change in a perfect look that previously characterized him to now make him look more masculine and the cringe and embarrassing girlfriend to carry around, bad choices π€·ββοΈ
"I can tell you that no one in Timothee Chalametβs inside circle was brave enough to tell him the truth about two things. The first was about his fashion choices, which were fun for a young guy but no good for Academy voters. Outlandish styles and colors, or looking like heβd rolled out of bed, didnβt endear him to anyone. He looked like an ice cream cone last night, which is fine for 29 but not in a room of adults.
But the big problem was Kylie Jenner, a Kardashian who dressed scantily in public when she was on his arm. The Kardashians are jokes, and Chalamet comes across as their latest punchline.
(Think of all the past K suitors and hsubands.) But sheβs hot, heβs in love, and couldnβt stay away. If heβd been five years older, he might have said, βKylie, Iβm taking my mom to these things.β But the more she was in the picture, the Academy soured on her.
Why did he win the Screen Actors Guild Award? The actors didnβt care. They rightly so respected his intense work on playing Bob Dylan β a five year investment β and wanted to reward him. But beyond the SAG contingent, it was Adrien Brody β elegant, with a classy looking dame on his arm β who came off as sincere, and serious.
Β One of the great things about Chalamet is that heβs incredibly articulate. Heβll get an Oscar one day, but the next time the opportunity arises heβll be older and wiser about his public identity."

I wish I could turn back time so I could watch βCall Me By Your Nameβ for the first time again. π
This song eas about a woman going to the cinema and having a good cry.
Well I know a film that has that effect. Apologies for the liberties taken with the plot. Disclaimer. I don't own the or7ginal song. Warnings: Unprotected sex
OH Iwent to see a film last night, it really made me weep.
Oh I never cried so much in all my life.
I blubbered in the ladies room, I bkubbered in my sleep.
Oh I nevrr cried so much on all my life!
I whimpered on the journey home which added to my shame.
And the storyline was all about how love'a hurting game.
Well the title of this masterpiece was Call Me By Your Name.
Oh I never cried so much in all my life!
This lad called Elio fell in love with this big handsome guy,
Oh I never cried so much in all my life.
And he hated this guy's guts at first but loved him by abn by,
Oh he never cried so much in all his life!
They made love in the countryside, they made love on the beach.
And Elio got so upset with Ollie out of reach
That he crept up to his bedroom and did bad things to a peach.
Oh he never tried so much in all his life.
At last the summer ended and the couple had to part,
When Ollie went back on the train he left with Elio's heart.
So he went round writing soppy poems, the tragic little part.
Oh I never cried so much in all my life.
When he got the call from Oliver, he wasn't that amused.
Oh I never cried so much in all my life.
He felt broken and betrayed, he felt his feelings were abused.
Oh I never cried so much in all my life.
He felt Ollie had betrayed him and he felt such grief and doubt
And in a desperate attempt to learn what love's about
He had unprotected sex and got Mafalda up the spout!
Oh she never cheered so much in all her life!
Apologies if this isn't acceptable. Or if there's a breach of copyright.
