I keep living through this cycle of being extremely awake, in alignment with my higher self - living and loving fully in the moment .. to being taken over by ego, hiding beneath a mask, refraining from speaking my truth, attracting the wrong kind of attention and feeling sorry for myself.

if you follow your heart sometimes it brings sadness or pain but sometimes it brings true happiness. if you never follow your heart it doesn't matter if you are shielding yourself hurt, you will simply never be happy.
