“I can do that, but can you tell me what this is about?”

“All I can say is it’s important. Make sure you come alone tonight.”

Is he…blushing? He is! He’s actually blushing!

“Natsu are you okay?!”

He didn’t even need to respond, his smile said it all. I should have known anyways it’s not like he would’ve gotten hurt by something like that. After my worry had cleared away, I drew attention to the actual moment. Things had become completely silent. Neither one of us spoke. All I could feel was our bodies touching each other and his hand lightly resting on my waist. I had landed with my hands next to his head. We only looked into each other’s eyes. I wanted to break away from the tension and look away, but I simply couldn’t I was locked in his gaze. Finally he broke the silence and whispered my name. it sounded so loud after the long silence, even though he whispered it in a soft, husky voice.

“Lucy…”, he whispered again.

Instinctively I reached out to touch his face and noticed my hand was trembling. For the first time I took notice of my own feelings and realized my heart was pounding in my chest and my body felt paralyzed against his. The sound of my name ushered through his lips sent a sensational shiver down my spine, leaving goosebumps in its trace and making my breathing race. Yet despite all of this my hand seemed to move on its own and I reached out to coup the side of his face. He continued to look into my eyes and put his hand over mine. Slowly he closed his eyes. “You’re so warm.”

His husky voice made me shiver again despite his comment. Besides I wasn’t the one that was warm, he was. His skin was burning hot, but instead of scalding me, the heat from his body seemed to radiate through my own. With my other hand I pulled my fingers through his hair. Touching it, feeling the texture of it. His eyes flipped open at my touch and my hand froze. He simply smiled and closed his eyes again as if telling me to continue. I then stroked my fingertips across his face, feeling his smooth cheekbone, touching his feathery lashes and lastly I let my fingertips touch lips and feel it spread open in an amazing smile. I finally spoke. “Your smile… is literally breathtaking.” I struggled to find the right words. He smiled wider, after my comment, if that was even possible, but after a couple of seconds his face suddenly turned serious. “Lucy..”, he said more serious this time as frown lines appeared on his forehead. He pushed me up so I was sitting over his lap and sat upright himself, my heart faltered and I became intenselyfrightened. Hundreds of thoughts flooded my mind in an instant, but the one that stuck was rejection. My heart instinctively wanted to abandon any thought of rejection, before it crept deeper in my mind. What if he didn’t want this? Doesn’t he feel the same way/ my questions were left in a screaming silence of anticipation and anxiety. Fear enveloped me as I awaited my fatal rejection. He parted his lips and I held my breath, but instead of the words I dreaded he once again said my  name.

“Lucy…”, his voice had gone back from serious to husky.

His green eyes pierced through mine. He raised his hands and cradled my face, slowly pulling me closer to him. Our faces were inches apart and another type of anticipation and anxiety seemed to take over me. I could feel his warm body I was sure he could hear my heart pounding.

“Lucy…”, his husky whisper came again. “I love you.” He pulled my face those couple of inches closer and my lips met his. Warm, sweet and loving and yet utterly passionate. My lips melted to his and so did my body. His incredible heat surged through every inch of myself, flaming my cheeks a scarlet red. My heart felt like it was on fire. Hi lips only touched mine for a couple of seconds yet I was gasping for air. My lips had a lingering burn from his touch. His right hand moved down my face and traced my neck and shoulders with his fingertips, all the while holding my gaze. Each place on my skin hetouched was scolded with passion and an intense shiver like feeling. His hand moved down my waist, to the small of my back where he pushed me closer to him. Every inch of my skin was touching him, feeling him. I closed my eyes savouring the incrediblesensation of him so close to me. I took advantage of the fact that we were so close and let my hands wander along his body. I lifter my still paralyzed like hands and placed them flat on his stomach. With my eyes still closed I slid my hands slowly upwards, feeling every muscle, every sculpture like line of his body. My little exploration brought me t ecstasy. He felt so incredibly good. He was surprised at my touch at first, but he pushed his body against my hands encouraging me to continue. My hands slid from his abs to his chest. Smoothly sliding up his neck until my fingers were entangled in his hair. I pushed his head towards mine so our foreheads were resting against each other. I then took his face in my hands, before I closed my eyes and brought my lips closer until it lightly touched his lips. “I love you”, I whispered, our lips moving together as I said those three words. His lips moved into a smile and mine mirrored his willingly. He then movedaway pushing my head a little back so his eyes could pierce through mine. He simply sat and watched me for a couple of seconds., before he once again pressed hislips tom mine. Something had changed this time we kissed, because the moment our lips met I became alive… the heat from his body, kisses and touch seemed to have reached my soul it burned with such a fiery passion and desire for him. My heart beat furiously as though it may explode from the overwhelming love I felt for him. The way I felt was even uncomprehend able to my own mind. My arms were around his neck and my fingers entangled in his hair. His arms were tightly wrapped around my waist, squeezing me closer to him. He opened our lips and I could feel his hot breath enter my mouth. Slowly his tongue glided over my lower lip. When his tongue reached the corner of my mouth he stopped and moved his head back. After a couple of seconds he kissed me again this time making his tongue touch the tip of mine. Each kiss drew longer than the one before and somehow our bodies came closer and closer. Later we simply sat in each other’s arms and watched the sun set. Our heads resting on each other’s shoulders, my legs wrapped around his waist. His fingers absentmindedly traced up and down my spine.

Что я сделал человеку, который решил взять мой псевдоним для публикации сожженого украиного флага или трупов?! Ты сумасшедший, блядь?! Учитывая, что я сам являюсь украинцем и возможно, эта "месть" специальна. Я вёл обычные дневники в тамблере и никого не обижал за несколько месяцев пробывания здесь, но решив отдохнуть немного от сети, попал в такую бессовестную и нечеловечную неприятность. Своего врага я лично не знаю, но я либо добьюсь возвращения своего честного имени здесь, а так же его бана за пропаганду или оповещу всех, кого можно, чтобы не быть причастным.

Natsu, Lucy & The People Around

Remake(updated) of a wonderful post. Unfortunately they've deleted their blog so I couldn't link the main post, instead I'll just link the one I came across with. The original post was probably made prior to the final arc started, judging from the panels used. I'll be adding a lot to this. Let's dive in!

Natsu and Lucy are often called out for being more than best friends by people around them. Their strong connection has always been a highlight, regardless of friends and foes. It's completely natural at this point, it's not just about teasing for fun but what those people interprete Natsu and Lucy's actions towards each other as, what they perceive their connection to be.

The physical aspect of Natsu and Lucy's relationship has earned them the most teasing. Both have showcased clear attraction for each other, with Natsu expressing his desires with actions more often and Lucy being timid about it.

The emotional aspect is heavier though.

They're the centre of each other's attention. Ranging from the weirdest things on earth to his biggest accomplishments, Natsu wants Lucy to know everything about him. He'd bring her greasy food, a frog from Edolas, act like a child while showing her a dragon statue. Uproot an entire tree and flow it down the stream in front of her house. He'd remember the day she joined the guild, remember her favorite color, food and the names of her each spirit and the number of keys she has. In danger his first instinct is to quickly stand before her and make sure she's safe.

Lucy is no different. In any situation Natsu is her top priority. She'd risk her life and push herself to her limit to keep him safe, hold him back from doing anything reckless. She'd rush to catch him when he falls, carry him to the safety forgetting about all other people and all other things.

If one is in pain, the other notices first. Whenever Lucy feels down, Natsu instantly calms her down. Whether it's Lucy doubting herself, feeling sad or scared of anything, crying in pain for loss of someone, Natsu is always there for her. Vice-versa. when Igneel returns, Lucy notices Natsu's distress first. When he worries himself after his sudden transformation against Animus, it's Lucy who comforts him.

They hang out with each other all the time with Natsu openly stating that he loves Lucy's smell and her house. Lucy adores his company too, feels obligated to do jobs with him. They both lean towards each other a lot.

There's a lot of eye-contact and physical contact between Natsu and Lucy, regardless of place. To the point where they can't distinguish between casual talk and flirtation. Looking at each other with flirty eyes, Natsu resting his arm above Lucy's shoulder, laying his head on her lap while nauseous or the other way around, holding her hand to drag her with him to anywhere, warm forehead touches are their language.

They take care of each other outside of physically protecting them, in more than one way. If one is sick, the other sits at their bedside to look after them. Natsu gets Lucy something interesting to write for her story, he picks up jobs on time so her rent isn't due. He shows her stars to make her happy. Lucy lets Natsu sleep in her bed, she takes care of the scarf he cherishes so much, she treats him to meals often and shares her own.

Lucy mirrors Natsu's actions from time to time. She often acts like him. Does soap surfing, draws on his face the way he draws on hers, teases him. She uses his catchphrase too.

All of this doesn't simply go unnoticed by other people, especially those who are close to Natsu and Lucy. They know both of them inside out, hence their remarks are sometimes indication towards what isn't explicitly exposed to us readers.

Starting off with Natsu's family :

Happy and Zeref

Happy has teased Lucy about Loke and Gray (filler), and Natsu about Lisanna (filler) before. When Loke confessed his feelings for Lucy during the Bixlow fight, Happy teased them. I think it's pretty natural, as well as when Gray followed Lucy home to make sure her safety and Happy said he liked Lucy.

In the childhood flashback, Lisanna was pretty vocal about her feelings, that's why her and Natsu were teased by little Happy.

However, he never continued them.

Interesting thing to note that, Happy can differentiate between romantic love and platonic love. He has only ever teased people about their possible love interests. He never joked about Natsu and Erza, despite knowing how close they are, yet he made fun of her and Jellal's almost kiss.

Back to Natsu and Lucy! From some unknown point in the story, Happy only called out Natsu and Lucy for liking each other. Whether it's the physical or the emotional side, Happy never missed to point out anything. In the 100yq, when Natsu and Lucy find themselves into a compromising position again, Happy remarks about how it's not the first time.

Happy's viewpoint matters because not only he's Natsu's best buddy, but also he's very close to Lucy, individually. He has spent a fair share of time with her without Natsu being involved, hence his take on their relationship is significant.

Next is Zeref.

Whilst mentioning the people who are close to Natsu, Zeref emphasized on Lucy the most, even more than Happy who has spent all his life with Natsu. As a matter of fact it was roughly only two years since Natsu and Lucy had met, yet she was said to have already made a great impact on Natsu's upbringing.

At that point, Zeref was aware of everything revolving Natsu since it was one of his battle strategies. Intelligence of the enemy, is what he mentioned to Gray. His comment about Lucy wasn't made out of nowhere, in fact it was what he perceived after his study about Natsu.

I don't need to explain why Zeref's point of view matters. He's Natsu's brother and the one who had created him all those years ago and handed him over to Igneel.

Teammates

Erza once remarked that Natsu can always be found in Lucy's apartment. During the christmas party at Lucy's place, when Lucy got all drunk and flirty with Natsu, Erza paralleled them with the other two canon ships and referred to them as a couple.

In Dragon Cry movie, Natsu asked Lucy how he looked like to her all the while being mere inches apart from her face, Wendy assumed that the two were having romance.

Their outlook matters a lot. Besides each other and Happy, Gray, Erza, Wendy are the closest to Natsu and Lucy. Their perception on the topic is one of the most reliable ones.

The Strauss Sisters

Although Mirajane thinking that Natsu and Lucy were dating was for the tease since the next time she guesses the same for Gray and Lucy, she definitely approves the idea of them together.

In earlier days, she got hold of the keys to Lucy's apartment and gave them to Natsu because he loves spending his time at Lucy's. When asked about who the guys wanted to peek on in onsen, Mirajane assumed that Natsu had been there for Lucy. In response to Lucy's denial, she reminded her of the times Natsu had seen her naked.

Now, Lisanna. The most important among the two.

After only a few days of Lisanna's return, even though she didn't get to know Lucy properly, she quickly realised that Lucy is an integral part of Natsu's life. Even in that short amount of time, Natsu and Lucy's strong bond was visible to her.

Lisanna telling Happy to stick by Natsu's side would make more sense, since Happy is Natsu's best friend and she's closer to him than Lucy. But Lisanna chose to tell Lucy only, to stay close to Natsu instead of mentioning all.

Her perspective does hold importance, she was once very close to Natsu. She might not have gotten much time after her return, however she still knows him more than any average guildmate and her judgement about Lucy was made on that basis.

Guildmates and Friends

Natsu became attached to Lucy within a very short time. She had a great impact on his life from a very early point on. Levy's statement further added to that claim. It might not have been said to imply something romantic between them, it still served the purpose of gradual development.

While Cana teased Lucy about Natsu groping her, she brought up the physical aspect of Natsu and Lucy's relationship. Then in 100yq, she also tries to provoke Lucy to make a move on Natsu. With that, she implies that Natsu and Lucy are more than just friends.

Juvia being the love-struck girl she is, imagined Natsu and Lucy as lovers and they were paralled with two other canon ships from her point of view. In 100yq, she mentions Touka as Lucy's love rival, depicting Lucy's romantic feelings for Natsu. Even Gajeel hinted at Natsu having a crush on Lucy, since he had liked Anna back then.

Asuka also thought that Natsu and Lucy were dating each other and their bond was similar to her parents'. It only server to prove that there is more to Natsu and Lucy's relationship than plain friendship.

Evergreen as well as Brandish commented about Lucy being in love with Natsu. Porlyusica also opted for Lucy to warm up Natsu's body, instead of simply asking anyone else.

All of these people clearly understand what Natsu and Lucy are to each other, and what they see between the two is more often than not deemed as outright romantic by the same people.

Virgo and Aquarius, both have witnessed Lucy's bond with Natsu grow gradually since the beginning. Virgo assumed the two were a couple and brought matching dresses for them. Whilst in 100yq, Aquarius emphasized on Natsu's significance in Lucy's life to bring her back to her senses.

Edolas-Lucy naturally assumed that the earthland counter-parts are also romantically involved.

Overall, Natsu and Lucy as a couple have all the support from their near and dear ones. Natsu's family, his best friend, Lucy's spirits and her edo-counterpart, their teammates and friends, little Asuka- almost all of them agree on one thing and that is : there's a romantic tension between Natsu and Lucy, and it would be totally natural for them to end up together.

The enemies too have talked about that :

The common point of view is one type of confirmation to us readers, that there's more to what we're told about Natsu and Lucy's bond.

Дуже коротко та без зайвої філософії.

За останній рік я налагодив своє життя, окрім самореалізації . Але тільки зараз в умовах війни я усвідомлюю, що я був досить самореалізованою людиною, хіба що ще дітей не народилося. Зато завели дві собаки)

Я ходив на боротьбу. Прозаймався 3 місяці а далі пішов на ММА і займався до цих воєнних пір.

Я кинув курити і не курив майже три місяці і не курю досі. Як віна почалась одну скурив чисто по приколу.

З алкоголем трохи складніше, не пив чотири місяці і перед війною пару разів напився. Узагалі був дуже нервовий немов передчував щось нехороше. Але чотири місяці не пити і три не курити це вже була перемога.

Я вчив англійську. З початку грудня тільки і займався що вчив англійську. Нарешті! Звісно до цих пір. Коли війна почалася вчити щось нереально.

Я планував купу поїздок на авто і походів у Карпати на весну, літо та осінь…

Москалі смердючі почали повномасштабну війну, звісно тепер, що плани перетворилися на мрії.

Я зараз на роздоріжжі…ми планували виїхати, але залишилися. Нема кули їхати, ми кияни і Київ наше рідне місто, у нас тут все. Так у мене є хати у Чернігівській обл. моїх бабусь але бабусі давно померли і хати вже закинуті. Тим паче біля тих сел, Прилуцького та Срібнянських районів ведуться бойові дії.

Я робив ходки до магазину, зібрав усі речі, поробив схрони на у різних місцях, гаражі та тд. І хотів йти до ТрО, коли ввели комендантську годину на два дні. Тобто не можна було виходити з будинків зовсім, мене могли прийняти за диверсанта і вбити.

Тому ми підготували зброю в квартирі. І ходили дві ночі коли сирени і на ніч до підземного паркінгу будинку не ми осіли у тещі.

Зараз комендантську годину відмінили і я знову шукаю інфу що з собою брати до ТрО і чи можна зі своєю зброєю. Марина здогадуються, теща та батьки ще не знають.

Водку пьйош? В Хріста вєруєш? Заході.

Останнім часом, на тлі надання громадянства Невзорову та постійне долучення до етеру українських телеканалів всіляких росіянських експертів, мені усе частіше спливають статті, на кшталт «5й проект» Арестовича, «Философский подход Украина» Святослава Вишинсткого і через це у мене частіше підгорає.

Ці всі росіянські ліберали та носії ефемерної русскої культури хочуть будувати свою країну, іще не знають як саме. Але жоден московит не вбачає Росію без України. Не забуваємо, що ще Лонгин Цегельський у 1901 році розвідав, що Русь - Україна, а Московія - Росія. Тож, кожному, хто захоче жити і будувати, навіть політичний а не етнічний народ під назвою «українець» повинен погодитися та можливо, навіть, бути готовим вмерти за такі речі: як свобода, соборність, армія, мова. Про віру мовчу, аби не московський патріархат. А там як хочеш - бігай в кокошнику, співай харе-крішна, медитуй посеред вулиці. Особливо, коли різна гидота не може запам‘ятати, що правильно казати «Країни Балтії» а не «Прибалтика» і продвигає різну дичину про прінять в сєбя какує-то русскую культуру. Ми і є руська культура.

P.S. На картині святий благовірний князь Алєксандр Нєвскій, якого русскіє зображують на православних іконах. Ордена його іменем роздають офіцерам російсько-фашистської армії. Був близьким до хана Батия і служив йому. Тому що його батько Ярослав Всеволодович зрадив Русь і перейшов на сторону Золотої Орди. Все, що потрібно знати про русскую культуру.

He's a demon regardless

One of the things about the sequel that should be appreciated is the constant portrayal of Natsu's true self.

He is a demon, an etherious.

Yes he wants to be a human, he chose to be one but he cannot deny that his whole existence is the result of Zeref's abnormal mental phase. He isn't the same human who died all those years ago, he is a completely different being. No matter how much he denies it, he is Etherious Natsu Dragneel.

Lucy might have separated him from Zeref's book, but his body and soul are all the same.

And the way it is brought up by multiple enemies is nice to see. I was really mad at Mashima for just closing the END chapter like nothing. So underwhelming honestly.

But I don't like the idea of Natsu just shouting "I chose to be human" instead it would be great if at some point in future when this gets brought up again or if Mashima brings back his demon form, Natsu accepts that he is actually a a demon and embraces his true self. Uses that to his benefit while also making it clear that being a part of Fairy Tail doesn't require being a human. All it requires is to cherish his family.
