Summary: In which smoking is bad for you, but your kisses are just a as addicting.
Pairing: Stanley Snyder x Neutral Reader
Note: Sir, it's illegal to be this pretty.
Warning: Minor spoilers for the manga, and smoking (duh)
"Kiss me."
Stanley obeys without a question. He pulls away his cigarette and leans in for a peck, too quick of a kiss for it to be satisfactory.
"Hey, kiss me."
"Again?"
He asks, but immediately kisses anyway with an amused smirk. This time, the kiss was somewhat longer, as if it was a shy lingering touch.
The smell of cigarette and the bitter taste of tabaco was definitely different from the modern world, and honestly? It tasted terrible, Xeno ought to try harder.
But the two could care less.
"I told you to stop smoking those toxic fumes."
Stanley rolled his eyes, and instead, flips the other off with a middle finger and walks away.
"Stan."
He turns over his shoulder.
"You suck at kissing!"
He puffs out smoke and smirks.
"But you love my kisses anyway."
Y/N: Bucky and I were crossing the street, and this dude drove by and honked at us
Sam: *Sighing* What did Bucky do?
Y/N: He chased him to the next red light, then reached into his window and...
Bucky: Who wants a steering wheel?
Natasha: *before a mission* Who’s turn is it to give a pep talk?
Steve: *sighs* Y/N’s…
Y/N: *stands dramatically on the table* All right, people, let’s fuck shit up out there and not die!
Tony: *wipes away a fake tear* So inspirational
Hinata: See, I just don't believe in the moon. I think it's the back of the sun.
Kageyama, being held back by Tanaka and Daichi: Let me punch him just this once, that's all I ask of you.
Daichi: I heard Yamaguchi's in jail?!
Tsukishima: Yeah, from something he didn't do.
Daichi: What didn't he do?
Noya: Run fast enough.
*texting*
Eren: If I were a cannibal, would it be more romantic for me to eat you or to not eat you?
Eren: Forget that last text I was possessed by the devil.
Yamaguchi: Kageyama has been better behaved recently.
Daichi: That's because Suga bought a dog training manual.
Yamaguchi:... You're kidding.
Daichi: I am not.
IMAGINE: MWUAH! ~ LUFFY X READER GENRE: FLUFF cw: established relationship. tooth rotting fluff *******************
You were quite content with your recent shopping spree with Nami. You have picked out a few new lipstick colors to go with your new outfits, and you were excited to try them on. So excited that you started to try on the different shades of lipsticks in the confines of your quarters.
The first one was a nude color. You were happy with the color, deciding that this one was going to be used on an everyday basis. The next one- a dark red. You never really used this shade before, so you were a bit nervous to try it out.
Just before you were about to try it on, your captain burst into your room.
“(y/n)! You’re back!” He shouts, immediately wrapping your arms around you multiple times. He pulls your head into his chest, almost like he was trying to squish you. “Yeah, I arrived not too long ago.” Your voice was muffled, but Luffy still understood it.
He pulls back, eyes full of curiosity as you hold the colored lipstick in your hand. “What you got there?” He asks.
You look down at the lipstick then back at him. An idea suddenly struck upon you.
With a smile, you started to explain to him. “It’s lipstick. It basically just paints my lips a different color.” “Ooh, can I see?” “Of course!”
You turn your gaze back into the mirror and start to apply the dark lipstick to your lips. Once you were done, you turned back to Luffy.
He had an amazed look on his face, like he’s never seen something like this before. “Wow, so pretty!” He says, causing you to blush at his compliment.
“Thank you.” You lean forward to press a kiss to his cheek, leaving behind a kiss mark.
Luffy laughs, “what was that for?” “No reason, just wanted to.” “Can I have more?”
You didn’t have to be asked twice. You immediately lean forward again, pressing another kiss right on his forehead, causing another kiss mark. You continued to assault his face with kisses until the lipstick started to fade away.
“Hold on,” you pull back, taking a quick glance at his kiss marked face.
A subtle blush dusted his cheeks, a dumb smile on his face and a dazed look in his eyes.
“But I want more.” He says trying to drag you back, but you were on a mission to put more lipstick on. “Wait a second,” You giggle while messily putting on the lipstick.
As soon as you finished, he pulled you close to him. Basically pulling you right into his lips.
His lips firmly pressed onto yours, successfully painting his lips the same red as yours.
When you pulled away from him, you were quite happy with how Luffy’s face was covered in kiss marks. You were about to tell him, but he spoke before you.
“Let’s go eat something (y/n), I’m hungry!” He shouts, grabbing your wrist and pulling you towards the kitchen. “W-wait.” Your calls fall upon deaf ears.
“Sanji!!” Luffy calls out as soon as he bursts into the kitchen, “I'm hungry. Make me a snack!” A sigh leaves the blonde cooks’ lips as he turns around, ready to scold him.
However, he stopped at the sight in front of him. His mouth fell agape. It was really a sight for him.
Luffy with a large smile on his face. Dark red kiss marks littered his face, and what was even more upsetting was that you were right beside him, wiping any stray stain from around your lips. It was clear that you were the one that marked up Luffy’s face.
“What is this?! How is this fair? Please answer me this god!” Sanji cries out.
Someone else burst into the kitchen, wondering what was going on.
“What’s with all this crying?” Nami questions. However, she stops short, seeing the sight in front of her.
Her hand covers her mouth, holding back her giggling snickers. They weren’t held back for long. She soon was full on laughing, causing your cheeks to heat up.
“You look ridiculous, Luffy!” She doubles over, her arms wrapped around her stomach.
“Hey! What’s so funny?!” Luffy asks. “Your-your face!” Nami laughs out.
“What about it? It’s just my normal face.” “Uh, about that,” you whisper, grabbing Luffy’s attention. “Huh?”
“When I kissed you, I was wearing my lipstick. So now you have kiss marks all over you.”
You avoided his gaze, a bit shy from what his reaction would be.
It was silent for a second until he burst out laughing.
The scene was a bit interesting. Sanji, on his knees crying, muttering how it wasn’t fear. All while Nami and Luffy laugh at his own predicament.
“It’s okay! That just shows your love for me.” He says causing your face to turn bright red at his words. “You can’t just say things like that!” You whisper-yell at him.
“Huh? Why not? You love me right?” You nod. “Good, because I love you too!”
“Ugh, I’m suddenly feeling sick.” Nami grumbles. She looks behind you two, seeing that Sanji was still crying on the floor.
“What a bunch of idiots.”

summary: What do you do when the fight is over? When the person you were looking for comes back with half of his self missing?
“You know I could be of use to you, right?”
“How?”
You groan in annoyance, tilting your head back. The sky is clear and the streets are quiet. This doesn’t quite feel like the ultimate perfect ending, it doesn’t quite feel like peace, but it’s a kind of calm you won’t take for granted. You look back up and continue walking.
“You’re missing tons of emotions. Trust me, there’s no one better than me to help you relearn them.” you say, attempting a dramatic salesman kind-of tone but failing miserably. You hear Eunhyuk scoff and think it was a bit of a victory, anyways.
“That sounds believable.”
“It is!” you insist, jogging up to him, “I swear we were dating before you went off and died.”
“I know.”
“That’s insane. You— I mean, you didn’t forget things, so then you must know this isn’t how you treat the person you’re dating after not seeing them for over a year. Surely.”
Eunhyuk turns to look at you. “The person you’re dating? We’re still together?”
“I mean, it’s not like I ever gave up on you.” you say, crossing your arms. He stares at you blankly for a couple more seconds before looking ahead again.
“Sounds like a waste of time.”
You sigh and let your expression fall for a second before fixing it. When your gaze falls on Eunhyuk again, his own expression has changed ever-so-slightly. There’s a crease between his eyebrows and his eyes are squinting a little, with a familiar tilt of his head. Then he blinks and returns to this neutral expression of his. “Is it not?”
“What else do you have to do with your time?”
“Finding others—”
“—Like you. Sixteenth time you say this, by the way,” you scoff, walking ahead of him. “You’re starting to sound like a broken record.”
Your eyes are burning a little bit. No, none of this feels victorious. To hell with a final battle, with everyone escaping, with everything. Nothing has changed. All that’s good is Eunhyuk being alive and he only feels like half of himself.
The worst part is that he acts the same as he used to. To the detail. It’s so obviously him that it almost hurts— All his actions just miss the hidden emotions he always kept close to his heart. Now it all feels empty.
Eunhyuk says your name and your heart feels like it stops. Just for a moment. You turn to see him catch up to you and slow at your side.
“This thing,” he says, and pulls out a necklace from a pocket inside his coat, “It’s yours.”
You blink. “… Yeah. It is.”
He looks at the piece of jewelry, holding it up by the chain like some kind of random thing he found on the street, before tossing it around his hand and grabbing the pendant in his palm.
“She said to use memories to relearn emotions,” he recalls quietly, then turns to look at you, “What do you think?”
“You tell me. Do your memories help?”
“I remember caring about you.”
You stare at him dead in the eye and barely blink at all for a few seconds. He does, and tilts his head again.
“What is it?”
“Why am I the only one still in love? That’s really unfair.” you huff.
“Don’t cry.”
“I’m not.”
“I said I remember everything, why are you trying to fool me? You always made this exact same face when you tried to hold back your tears,” he states, “I know this much.”
You heave a deep sigh and crouch down on the ground, covering your face with your hands. He’s right. It’s starting to make you angry. It really is him. It’s as if part of you was still trying to believe it wasn’t really Eunhyuk, that he was pretending not to feel emotions anymore. But it really hits you this time, that he’s simply lost that part of himself. You should be grateful that’s all he lost in the process of his rebirth, but you miss him. You miss him so much it hurts.
“I told you not to cry,” he sighs, and the closeness of his voice indicates he moved to your level, “What’s the point?”
“I miss you.”
“I’m right here.”
You shake your head.
“…If it’s making you this sad, then alright. Help me relearn them. Emotions,” he says. You take a deep breath and look up slowly. He’s waiting, crouching in front of you, a casual expression on his bloody face. “I’m a quick learner.”
“Okay. I’m bad at teaching though, I totally lied earlier. Promise not to leave me.”
“I have no reason to anymore. Besides…” he trails off, gaze averting. “…”
Lee Eunhyuk is more confused than he’d like to admit. He doesn’t feel emotions anymore, and he doesn’t feel any attachment to them either. There’s little hints of them, however, here and there. He sees you in pain and there’s a slight discomfort in his chest, reminiscent of a time long gone. He sees that necklace and picture and wonders why he bothers carrying them around, still. He sees the road ahead of him and acknowledges that he’s… Just a bit lost.
What now?
“… It’s for the best I stay with you,” he says, blinks, then looks at you again, “I think.”
“You think?”
“That’s the best I can give you.” He smiles, a bit tightly, and the grimace you make in return before scoffing out a laugh tells him he must not be doing a great job at this whole thing. He gives up for now.
“Let’s find somewhere safe to stay first.”
“Anywhere is safe as long as you stay with me.”
You give him an expression of irritation that he doesn’t really understand and get up, immediately beginning to walk away. “Don’t say things like that! You’re making me hope! Shut up!”
He gets up slowly and follows you. “It’s true, though.”
“Shut up!”

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
It had felt like an eternity since you had been able to meet his dark brown eyes with those of your own. They looked exactly the same, dark brown, yet they weren't your Lee Eun-hyeok's. They were the brown eyes of a stranger.
He stood in front of you appearing as the same man you had been waiting for, longing for, surviving for. His shoulders no longer held the weight of the world on them, which that you were grateful for. To those who didn't know him, his eyes had always lacked a warmth to them; but to you there had once been a small tinge of lightness in them. Now, they truly held nothing but indifference.
As you took in every inch of him, desperate to familiarize yourself with the sight of him once again, he stood looking at you. He wasn't analyzing your every move like he used to, he was simply looking at you. Nothing more and nothing less.
Your arms itched to wrap themselves around him but you refrained from doing so. The air felt tense, not much could be heard aside from your slight uneven breaths. He turned to walk away, "Are you really leaving me again?" His steps slowed to a stop. From his reaction alone you first thought he didn't recognize you.
His back stayed facing you, "Lee Eun-Hyeok, you've been alive all this time, and not once did you try to look for me?" He couldn't even turn to face you. "Why would I?" You could feel the tears begging to spill from your eyes, but you blinked them away. "Because you love me. You love me like I love you." You reached for his hand but stopped midway fearing that he would pull away.
Just how you feared he'd pull away from your touch you feared his response to your words. "Because I waited for you and I lived for you, I almost died searching for just a glimpse of you..." You quietly let out, desperately trying to keep your voice steady. "I never asked you to do any of that." He finally turned toward you. His face was void of emotion, "Do you know the way to the stadium?" His eyes once again met yours, and you looked away not being able to gaze into their emptiness.
"Why are you being like this?"
"So, you don't know how to get to the stadium?" This time you turned your back towards him, trying to catch your breath, because each word he said continued to feel like a punch to the gut, another finger around your throat.
A stray tear stained your cheek, your hand flying up to quickly swipe it away. You faced him once again, "Is that all you care about, huh? The stadium?" You let out a dry laugh. "No," and for a second you had hope, "I don't care about anything, just curious." There he went shredding every ounce of it.
It broke you out of your trance for a second, turning to look at the bus your brother Cha Hyun-Su was trapped in. You were overwhelmed and not sure what to do, various emotions drowning you. "Help me get Hyun-Su out." You nodded to the bus, not wanting to speak of your feelings for him any longer.
"No, this is his test." He said taking a seat on some steps. You huffed, irritation flooding you. It was as if you were speaking to a wall. "Yah! Lee Eun-Hyeok do something!" You yelled at him. He simply stared at you blankly. "He's a neo-human. He can get himself out."
"What if he can't? I just found him again, please, Lee Eun-Hyeok..." You whispered shakily, sniffling. "Then I guess you're both useless to me." You didn't ever think you'd hear Eun-Hyeok say something like that to you. The last words he'd said were a promise of love and that he would return to you.
Now he sat in front of you not because he had returned to you, but by chance, because he didn't willingly seek you out. "Don't say that. Stop being like this!" You cried out. "I waited all this time for you, just for you to— to what? Hate me? You said you loved me! You promised me you'd come back and you never did! And now you're— you're acting like this!" You gave up on trying to match his nonchalance, you couldn't take it, couldn't stand the sight of his lips in that straight emotionless line. From his unfurrowed brows to his dry eyes, they all led you to the conclusion that he didn't care.
"I don't hate you, and I don't love you." You couldn't even feel your nails digging into the palm of your hands leaving deep crescent marks.
When did he stop loving you? Why did he stop loving you? You didn't want to know. You just wanted to feel his warm embrace around you. What he should've done when he first saw you. Yet here he was calling you useless, another finger tightening around your throat. You weren't sure when you had started crying but there was no stopping the tears now.
You wanted him to see that he was hurting you, you wanted him to stop. Maybe he could see it in your eyes, your desperation to see a glimpse of the Eun-Hyeok you knew because his next words were "I'm not the Eun-Hyeok you remember." Not even flinching at the sight of your tears.
He used to kiss those same tears away, and now he was the cause of them, the fuel that aided them.
"I'm a neohuman, the next step in human evolution."
"I don't care, Hyeok!" He almost flinched at the memory of your nickname for him. Almost.
"I don't care if you're a neohuman or a monster, all I care about is you! But you don't care about me, you don't love..." you didn't finish your sentence, you couldn't. You could no longer hold your body up, falling to the rough tar of the street. You felt a warm liquid against the skin of your knees due to the fall. That pain was nothing compared to the wound to your heart.
Your chest felt as if it was on fire. "Why are you doing this to me?" You sobbed, your hands coming up to cover your eyes.
"Oppa..." you cried for Hyun-Su. Suddenly Eun-Hyeok was crouched beside you as shards of the bus burst through the air. You uncovered your eyes, tears still falling as you looked at Eun-Hyeok.
"If you got hurt he would never agree to help me." You bit your lip to hold in the sob.
You looked past him to see Hyun-Su standing in front of the remains of the bus. His brown eyes made you cry harder. He was back. Eun-Hyeok stood up, as Hyun-Su made his way toward the both of you.
Once he stood in front of you he pulled you to your feet, before his arms tightly embraced you. "Oppa...you're back." You couldn't help but cry, causing him to gently rub your back in an attempt to calm you. "It's okay." Another attempt to soothe you. You hugged him tighter, begging the ache in your heart to go away. He slightly pulled away as your breathing evened out, but tears still raced down your cheeks. He wiped the tears, "I'm sorry." Escaping his lips.
It felt as if he was apologizing for letting dark Hyun-Su take over but also for Eun-Hyoek's actions.
"It's okay, Hyun-Su." You struggled to put a smile on. Eun-Hyeok began walking off toward the way he assumed the stadium was. You squeezed Hyun-Su's hand, "Thank you for coming back to me." You gently said before letting go. You caught up to Eun-Hyeok, grabbing his wrist to stop him. "I'm not letting you leave again. You can hurt me all you want, I don't care how much more pain I have to go through or how long I have to wait for you, I'll wait." You sniffled.
He turned to face you, "I have my memories, but I don't have any emotions." It felt as if this was his way of apologizing. "That's how it is for us, and we learn fast." He pulled your hand off his own wrist. "If you're fast learners, you can learn emotions. I'll love you... love you until you learn to love me again." You said in an even voice. He remained silent, turning to walk off again.
Another tear slipped from your red eyes. Grabbing his wrist once again you turned, pulling him in the opposite direction, the correct way to the stadium. Your hand clasped his tightly not allowing him to let go. As you reached Hyun-Su your other hand finding his as you continued to make your way to the stadium. Hyun-Su threw a glare at Eun-Hyeok, infuriated that your tears were his cause.
Hyun-Su squeezed your hand in his pulling you more towards him, "You shouldn't wait for him, he doesn't deserve it." He said as if Eun-Hyeok wasn't even there. If it weren't for your hand tightly gripping his cold one, you'd forget he was even there. "I know, but I—I still love him." You stuttered and glanced at Eun-Hyeok whose sharp eyes never strayed from looking in front of him.
You turned resting your head on Hyun-Su's shoulder, "You don't know how much I missed you, Oppa." Eun-Hyeok's eyes cautiously glanced your way as you weren't looking.
"Me too," Hyun-Su replied glancing toward you, placing a kiss to your forehead. A small smile painted your lips. It was your first genuine smile since he had returned. Lee Eun-Hyeok gazed ahead once again, not wanting to stare at your smile for too long. Something about it caused a stir deep within him.
You had grown used to waiting, almost numb to the feeling. You had waited for Lee Eun-Hyeok, for your brother Cha Hyun-Su, if you had to wait a little longer to truly be united with the man you loved then that is what you will do. You refused to believe that the Eun-Hyeok you love was no longer within the man beside you. You knew deep within him he was there somewhere. Although Eun-Hyeok had crushed all your hope, the return of your Hyun-Su reignited it. You had Hyun-Su now, and that would be enough.
You will ignore the ache in your heart and wait for Lee Eun-Hyeok's return. You will gaze into his dark brown cold eyes with the warmth of your own. Meet his emotionless face with your own filled with desperation, love, any other emotion you could muster. You will love this shell of a man that used to be your Eun-Hyeok. Because it's all you could do.
