I just saw your post on the chest touching and it reminded me of my VERY first Good Omens illustration that I was compelled to draw because said scene.

There was SO MUCH going on in that small gesture and it just sparked my obsession with this show. I adored Good Omens s1, but the chemistry of Tennet and Sheen working their magic in s2 just blew me away.

Where Harry and Draco run away together mid-war; Harry escapes the ticking pressure of being the last hope for the wizarding world; and Draco abandons the Death Eaters.

Forced to feast upon a stag out of desperation for food

I was on a fuckin' brain overload, the stag is a metaphor for the sacrifices Harry's parents made (to survive voldy ykyk) and by eating it, he feels as if he's finally lost hope -- it's all gone to waste, he has ultimately dissapointed his parents. The world ends with him.
