✊ Today is an Internet-wide day of action for net neutrality ✊

There’s been a major development over the past 24 hours: another member of Congress just came out in support of the House Congressional Review Act resolution to overturn FCC Chairman Ajit Pai’s net neutrality repeal.

This is a big deal and could help push other lawmakers do the same, but we have to act fast because the deadline is just over a week away.

Today is a massive day of action to show lawmakers that people still care about net neutrality so we’re asking everyone to click here and tell Congress not to let their chance to save net neutrality slip away.

We’ve been fighting for months without seeing any movement in Congress, watching the clock ticking down to the deadline. But Rep Joe Morelle (NY-25) his support for the Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution could change that.

If we act fast, we can leverage this new momentum to unleash a small landslide of other representatives coming out for net neutrality before the December 10th deadline, which will make a huge difference in the battles ahead.

Today we’re asking the entire Internet to sign this open letter to Congress telling them to do the right thing and support net neutrality before it’s too late.

Your voice matters. As part of today’s Internet-wide day of action, thousands of others are speaking out, along with celebrities, musicians, and websites like Tumblr, Postmates and Etsy.

No, but for real though, please freakin check yourself before you wreck yourself when making fun of someone suffering any skin problems. What never made sense to me is that people make others feel bad over a condition that…is pretty normal for almost everyone to experience at SOME point in life? It was annoying because everyone including my own friends and family would point it out to me — LIKE IT WASN’T CLEAR ENOUGH THAT I LOOK AT MY DAMN SELF EVERY DAY IN THE MIRROR AND COULDN’T TELL WHAT I LOOKED LIKE, LIKE OK, THANKS FOR TELLIN ME SHIT I ALREADY KNEW bish XD. I had hormonal acne throughout middle school - high school and it was only until college where shit started improving. But throughout my years of suffering with acne, I found other ways to define myself beyond just physical appearance. I focused on my art, education, and future career. Naturally, my skin improved with time, a TON OF WATER, AND CUROLOGY (#NOTSPONSORED XD). But yeah, like I said… I’ll show those motherf*ckers. 😤

Hello guys! It’s been a while ♥ but the staff of the Bendystraw week is back with an event to celebrate Christmas together and in the best way possible ♥

The event we have thought about this time is more about a game. It is nothing less than the “Secret Santa”! And, although many of you surely already know what it is about, we will explain it:

“The Secret Santa is a very popular game in which several people who participate give each other gifts without knowing who has made each gift”

Here is a more detailed explanation:

- Those who participate, will give a gift and receive a gift (from a person they will not know until the 25th arrives, the day on which the gifts will be delivered)

- All those who wish to participate, will participate in a raffle in which they will know which person was assigned to each one.

- All participants will write letters specifying how they would like their gift to be (for example, as the event revolves around the Bendystraw, some of the themes could be, “kissing under the mistletoe”, “having your first date”, etc.). Please, note that it’s NOT obligatory for the person who gives the gift to make the exact theme written in the letter, this is more a reference. Also, it’s not mandatory that the gifts are related to Christmas -but with Bendystraw ♥-).

- The raffle will be held on the 16th (as it will wait until the 15th to give more people the opportunity to join).

- The names of the people to whom you will give gifts will be written, in the inbox, on the 17th. - From the 17th to the 18th the letters can be posted with the tag: “bendystraw christmas letter”

- 25th (or 24th, depending on the time difference), gifts will be delivered.

- The gifts can be: fanarts, fanfics, covers, cosplays, whatever you want, that you think would be nice to give :)

- Only so that it is clear, the letters are ONLY REFERENCES, so that we all have an idea of what we could give, it is NOT obligatory to give exactly what is requested in the letters. - The main day, you’ll post the gifts with the next tag: “bendystraw chirstmas event”, so in the end eveyone can see your beautiful presents ♥
