In episode 9 when Dream went to Lucienne to ask about the 'disturbances' he looked like a kid who just shouted at his mother but now needs her help i love them

Not me rewatching Sandman cause I can’t get enough of Tom Sturridge’s voice as Dream of the Endless. It’s perfect for the character. I haven’t read the comics but when I think of talking to someone like the Sandman, that’s exactly what I hear.

He speaks softly giving comfort and guidance through your fears and nightmares but then you have moments where his tone has an edge, one that reminds others he is to be feared. Like when he confronts Alex about being locked in cage for over a century. Or when Lucifer threatens to destroy Dream and he accepts the challenge. Then the way Dream threatens Desire.
