passing my time with some background practice

So I was walking thru the woods today for a hike, and I came across a literal fairy house?!?!

I left a peanut butter cracker, and a acorn cap full of some of my juice for the fairy I REALLY HOPE lives there. Such an experience! I'll admit I don't know too much about fae courtesies, so if I messed up and need to go back and make amends, some one pls let me know. I left the treats, cuz I felt bad for stomping thru there, but nothing weird has happened yet so?? Yeah!

well. just found out i cannot ditch town and go live in a cottage somewhere in the midst of scotland where my only priorities are watering my plants and running the local bookshop. so if you see me throwing myself dramatically over a chair and crying about it, mind your business

If I was skekTek I would have helped the Gefling.

All of the other Skeksis were such bastards to him. Like, if you think about it, everything they gave to the Gelfling was probably a creation of the Scientist. Seriously, if he went to the Gelfling he'd probably have been well received due to his more gentle nature. I can't believe he was truly evil if he could care for that little bird of his. Also, it was SKEKSILS manipulative ass that even gave him the idea to drain things in the first place. That guy was honestly ready to get punished because his mind instantly went to 'I failed' rather than hurting other creatures for his own gain. I'd like to think he wouldn't have ever gone there if that HMMING ASS BITCH hadn't given him a second of validation.

Also- if Tek had left the other Skeksis, the Gelfling would have won with minimal casualty hands down. Tek was the smartest, and arguably most compassionate of them! If he had left, he would have been 100% valid in doing so. skekSa did it. Hell even skekMal didn't really care about them to a certain extent. The future of Thra would have instantly been rewritten if skekTek had just gone ahead and done what was best for himself. Instead of trying and failing to earn the respect of the others. (In his defense, abuse is a hard thing and everyone reacts differently. Which is another reason why this show is so good. Because so many characters go thru abuse and react differently and THATS SOME GOOD FLAVOR- but I digress).

I could keep going on about this, but i shan't rant any longer. Cuz now I wanna write an AU where Tek does leave, and omg I hate it when I give myself new ideas!!

3. Maudra Fara: not afraid of a little light rebellion, has a fizzgig, loses points for dying

4. Maudra Ethri (book version): has an eye made of emerald, Ocean Queen™, still learning but recognizes that Onica knows what’s up

5. Maudra Seethi: nailing her aesthetic, doesn’t need to talk because her outfit says it all, goth

6. Maudra Mayrin: regal energy, gonna steal your stuff in the name of the law, helped make Brea and Tavra, also helped make Seladon, bad mom of the year award

7. Maudra Ethri (show version): nice hat?, pales in comparison to her book counterpart, no vibes whatsoever

8. Maudra Mera: shady af, bootlicker supreme, only gets points for raising Kylan

I would like to think that some part of the Gelflings who got drained- that their souls actually remain in the crystal. I would also like to believe that Tolyn was the last of the castle guards to get drained. And thoroughly got his spirit ass beat by all the guards who were definitely aware that Tolyn was the traitor after the revolt ended.
