( @markiplier lol I’m sorry but I watched both ADWM and AHWM and then I saw this)
(You’re welcome and goodnight. 👋)
Your brain is so big, I love this
{{Hey, since Mark made the comment about Dark "Not being evil, just misunderstood" after saying a few years back that Dark "Did not push us out to save us"
Don't think about both being true and the potential character development angst that could possibly arise from it.
Don't think about Damien losing his bitter shell and struggling to come to terms with betraying the one person who trusted him most.
And don't think about Celine coming to realize all of the vile shit Actor has continually put the district attorney / Y/N through and realizing that when it comes to him. Her and the DA are in the same boat and out of fear of losing her brother she tossed someone who was at the time helpless under the bus.
Dark has made zero progress in Actors regard for what we know. Don't think about how that would worsen the impact of all this-
Don't think about the guilt.
DON'T THINK ABOUT IT.
DON'T THINK ABOUT DARK QUESTIONING IF HE ACTUALLY IS THE VILLAIN IN THIS SCENARIO (he's not). AND DON'T THINK ABOUT ACTOR USING THAT AGAINST HIM.
IM NOT GOING TO USE THIS AS A FANFIC PLOT POINT, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. }}
Out of all of these universes, which one screams ‘Nepo Baby?’
And I don’t mean characters or the actual people themselves. I mean which universe has the most privilege and is annoying about it? Which one is most likely to shout ‘do you know who my parents are?!’ in the name of strive?
Me when I get into three:
Markiplier egos: The Canon and Uncanon
I have come to a horrible realization that you can tell which Sides/Egos are canon for the other series I like, but not for this one! So, of course, I’m gonna fix this. (Also I’m doing this based of characters that do and don’t appear in the ‘with Markiplier’ series canon)
(For the mark section, C - Canon, N - Not Canon, P - Possibly Canon)
Darkiplier (Also Damien)
Wilford (Also William b. Barnum)
Mark (The actor)
The Jims (all of them, but I’m going to count the four iterations of Jim we see for simplicity's sake)
Yancy
Captain Magnum
Illinois
Stan Wheeler
Heehoo
Murdock (I considered putting him in the “that's just mark” category)
The door monster
Bingiplier (plus mini bing)
Googleplier (all four iterations)
Bim Trimmer
King of the squirrels
Dr. Iplier
Ed Edgar
Septiplier (I know)
Silver shepherd
The host (also the author)
Heist Mark (c)
Head Engineer Mark(c)
Date Mark(c)
Drowned man Mark(n)
E-boy Mark(n)
Noir Mark (c)
The pornipliers (all six of them) (c)
Markbop (p)
Organization Head Mark (c)
Head soldier Mark (c)
Camp counselor Mark (c)
Bomb diffuser Mark (c)
Resident enis Mark (n)
FNAF the Musical Mark (n)
Cool patrol Mark (n)
Old man Mark (c)
Harold B. Darrensworth

If we add up all of these egos, we get 46 egos in canon, 72 egos in total... Tell me if I missed any (or if there are some that shouldn’t be counted) and I’ll add them to (or remove them from) the list!
The similarities that I find between Thomas’s story and Mark’s story scare me.
Guys...............
So as you know there are things that bother me about the heist and one of them was the Ignorance is Bliss ending with the password and we’re like “wow! Amazing answers solved!” but the thing is we were SUPPOSED to find it! Which means there are other answers here, something we’re missing. And that is my mission with these theories.
So after scouring AHWM over the past what is it? 4 days now I have come to a conclusive theory that i think answers a few things. And the theory is actually pretty off the rails. My thought that sparked was that this guy
Isn’t Dark,
it’s Markiplier.
Now I bet your thinking that’s a pretty off the rails theory you got going there but something that I think helps back it up is the Secret ending.
To get there you have to find the Ignorance Is Bliss ending (Sneaky, Dark tunnel, Don’t split, Don’t Split, Split) where he tells you he’s hidden codes throughout the heist for you to find (look under the question mark where you’ll see 7 and so on) where you go back through all the endings and come up with this
Lh3EeEeR9z59YWcUB2b7ViHJ8ALQ637
Once you go back to the Ignorance is Bliss ending you see a link to a site where you have to put in a password. Put in the letters and numbers you found and it works leading you to the bloopers, bts, photos and merch.
Now click on the bloopers video and for the first thirty-ish seconds you find Dark putting on eyeliner and practicing lines in the mirror?
But this is some funny gag right?
That’s what I thought to, until I went through the Split Up video again where things started to not really add up for me.
For one thing, I think we all noticed the absence of the blue while watching and for some reason while watching again the phrase “Ignorance is Bliss” came to mind. And why the ending would be called that anyway?
For those who for some reason don’t know the meaning of the phrase is “if you do not know about something, you do not worry about it.” and to me I think this is exactly what we did during this ending.
We didn’t really question the blue, the wardens desk, the pictures. It kind of just went over our heads and now that I think about it- isn’t this ending a little TOO fanservice? White suit, seeing “Dark” in general, callbacks to WKM. these are things that the fandom has been talking about for a while but having it in? This just doesn’t seem right.
Also some of the lines are a little out of character, aren’t they? At least to me they are. So I went back to the original source ADWM and Darks lines
And I couldn’t have been more Right.
Something that I questioned during my first theory of taking apart those lines was how has Mark mocked Dark so bad that would have him so pissed off? and This. This HAS to be it.
Mark uses this ending to mock him, to make fun of him even though this isn’t how Dark would actually behave. Because if you REALLY think about it would Dark actually say “or maybe you just missed my pretty face?” (cause if we’re talking canon timeline we haven’t seen Dark since he trapped us in the mirror so we wouldn’t have anything TO miss. Not to mention that Dark was the one to tell us how much he missed us during our date)
Because something that was stated in Damien was that Markiplier wanted to be the hero of his own story and that’s why he morphed Damien into the villain. Because not only does every hero need a tragic backstory (more on that in a bit) but they also need a villain to beat.
(‘m gonna pause because something just clicked while writing this you know when you click the link in the IiB ending and it takes you to the site? Well the password has a picture of the box and put in the password opens the box and shows you the “truth” the secret ending BOOM!)
Also practicing lines of how your enemy would possibly speak is something someone trying to create their own story would do. (like making fanfiction about yourself in a way…)
Anyways… one of the other things that didn’t really add up is when Dark says “I’ve been waiting a long time to see you again” and if he really had this short chat with us before the date (Long story short i believed for a bit that the heist was before the date I just wasn’t able to get a theory out fast enough and it looks like the True Ending supports this) then WHY would he A. say this and B. get mad about Mark having “this adventure” with you? The date.
Also doesn’t some of the glitches during this ending feel off? like some kind of imperfection of trying to copy the actual thing? At least, to me that’s what it looks like.
