Inspired by the song “Bacterial Contamination” by Kanamiso-P!
So I got an ask on my RP blog to draw Alphys if she’d encountered the same fate as Gaster, and it lead me to create my own Void Alphys! Below are some general ideas/headcanons I had for this new version of Alphys!
Void Alphys is completely blind in her left eye. She can still see out of her right eye, but not without some kind of seeing aid (Such as her glasses). Because of this, Void Alphys relies more on sound than vision.
Void Alphys does not have true arms or legs. Below her elbows and knees her body is nothing more than black, tar-like substance.
Void Alphys has no tail
Void Alphys has no color to her
The tar-like substance that makes up Void Alphys arms/legs are very sticky, and leaves residue wherever she goes.
The black tar always gravitates back towards Alphys body whenever it drips off/is cut off of her main body.
Void Alphys has lost nearly all forms of communication. Because she has no hands, she cannot text, type, write, and so on. She can speak, but not for long. When she speaks, her vocal cords begin to ooze the black tar. If she speaks for too long, the tar-like substance will begin to obstruct her airway. Because it causes her too much pain, Void Alphys almost never speaks.
The tar-like substance of her arms and legs has elasticity, allowing Void Alphys to stretch and contract her arms/legs at will. She usually only does this with her arms, and only uses it to catch or ensnare anyone who threatens her.
The tar-like substance cannot be harmed in any way, but her main body can be.
Undyne is the only one who has ever heard Void Alphys speak.
May add more stuff or tweak things later, but that’s a general basis for my new AU Alphys~! Hope you guys enjoy it!!

Character story: Alphys.
Appearance.
Alphys is an anthropomorphic lizard monster. She is short, but unlike the original Alphys, she is not plump, her body is toned. She has light orange skin and yellow eyes. She wears glasses, a yellow T-shirt with a white lab coat on top, and jeans.
Character.
Alphys is very smart and resourceful. She is also active, goes in for sports, prefers to move rather than sit still. Against junk food, sitting at the TV, sits at the computer only if work requires it. She is confident in herself and in her actions, knows how to bear responsibility and admit her mistakes.
Capabilities.
Alphys very rarely uses magic, preferring to solve everything with his brain. She is good at science and machine construction, and she uses this.
Story.
Alphys became the Royal Scientist when she built Mettaton. This earned her the respect of the king and the post of royal scholar. It was she who created Flowey, and when he escaped, she told the king about it. She also wanted to conduct experiments on the souls of people, but Asgore did not allow her to touch them. As a result, Alphys focused on boring experiences and improving Mettaton's body. But when Frisk appeared, she began with all her might to try to get his soul, but he passed the traps well, and Mettaton simply could not kill him. So Alphys simply dropped her hands, but still, because of Undyne, agreed to help Frisk, although she was disgusted to keep Asgore in the dark.

Характер.
Альфис очень умная и изобретательная. Она так же активная, занимается спортом, предпочитает двигаться, а не сидеть на месте. Против вредной пищи, посиделок за телевизором, сидит за компьютером только если этого требует работа. Она уверена в себе и в своих поступках, умеет нести ответственность и признавать свои ошибки.
Способности.
Альфис очень редко использует магию, предпочитая всё решать мозгом. Она хороша в науке и в строение машин, этим и пользуется.
История.
Альфис стала королевским учёным тогда, когда построила Меттатона. Этим она заслужила уважение короля и пост королевского учёного. Именно она создала Флауи, и когда тот сбежал, рассказала об этом королю. Она так же хотела провести опыты над душами людей, но Азгор не разрешал ей их трогать. В итоге Альфис сосредоточилась на скучных опытах и совершенствовании тела Меттатона. Но когда появился Фриск, она начала всеми силами пытаться достать его душу, однако ловушки он проходил хорошо, а Меттатон просто не мог его убить. Так Альфис просто опустила руки, но всё же, из-за Андайн, согласилась помочь Фриску, хотя ей было противно держать в неведении Азгора.

Alphys accidentally introduced Papyrus to Vocaloid. He has made his own personal Miku named ‘Cooler Miku.’ It’s just Miku decorated with Papyrus merchandise from fan gamer.

Ok in all seriousness it’s actually that Kris didn’t even have like, any friends before the events of Deltarune. Like, they literally had nobody, besides when Asriel would email them on the dinky old computer in the bedroom.
Pokèmon:
Silver has numerous stitches on his hands from Totodile biting him. Whenever he’d try to pick her up, she’d bite his hand, and stay there as Silver would start yelling at her to get off his hand. Totodile finds this amusing and does it often, and this is also the reason why Silver usually keeps Totodile in her Pokéball.
Sonic The Hedgehog:
Maria is a Robnik so like…she’d want to build robots to help people, she used to on the ark, and like, Tails also makes inventions to help people and so he reminds Shadow of Maria and takes his grief out on Tails. (Sorry buddy-)
Cave Story:
Curly Brace is built by the Doctor.
Friday Night Funkin:
BF is hyper fixated on sonic and puts little Easter eggs to the franchise’s music in to songs he sings against his opponents. He was deeply traumatized by the Sonic.EXE mod but acted like it didn’t bother him.
