I absolutely adore animation, and have thrived through consuming its medium for most of my life. Majority of what I watch is animation. But occasionally something non- animated catches my eye. And recently, this happened with severance (which is fucking insane and I could not recommend it enough.

I bring this up because one of my favorite aspects of severance is its mystery. And I was just thinking, we need more mystery within animation. Now saying this, it feels like we have a good amount. But when I say we need more mystery, I mean animated stories that’s genre is FULLY mystery.

Point is I yearn for mystery and being so insanely confused but in animated form

And also watch severance

I understand peoples opinions and thoughts on Steven universe, but at the same time I’m like how can you hate that show? Do you know how much it did for young queer kids trying to figure themselves out? Do you know how great it was for pushing past queer stereotypes in television?
