Your gateway to endless inspiration
So I’ve gotten really into Persona 5 lately and decided a while ago to try to concept my own phantom thieves ish group. These guys are the ones I have done so far, but I do want to add more people to this group! I have only written the summoning speeches for one of these guys, so I’ll put the symbolism behind certain design aspects of the personas and the speech for the one I have it for since he doesn’t have any symbolism in his design. And then I’ll explain their user’s stories!
Annabelle (”Blunderbuss”): The leader of the group and the first to summon her persona. She is the child of an assumed “criminal”, who died in a shoot out with police. She is looked upon with caution and contempt, assumed to be destined to become a criminal like her father. She knows her father is innocent and is just trying to keep her head down when she discovers the metaverse.
Rook: On a pirate flag; the color red symbolizes no mercy, an hourglass symbol symbolizes “time is running out”, and weapons symbolize an impending fight.
Rowan (”Spark”): The second to summon their persona. Rowan used to be a goody-two-shoes, an honor student, and a perfectionist. This was all due to expectations placed upon them to succeed and was fine. They suppose. But an incident left them without their right eye. Suddenly, they were treated as other and everything they were was ignored. Well, they were going to be treated as a good for nothing? They’d act like a good for nothing. They feel more ready to discover who they truly are after summoning their persona.
Antagonist: "So! You've finally decided to stop the show! You've kept it up so long, I was beginning to think you'd never find your real self. Now tell me, will you return to the role society cast you as? Or will you come onto the stage, and wow the audience with whom you truly are?! I am thou, thou art I- Thou hast been subservient for too long! The you your heart projects hath been locked away much like a princess in a castle! It's time we forge a contract, and let the world watch the true you in awe!"
Atlas (Masquerade”): The third to summon their persona. Atlas is close to an abusive, manipulative man whom he keeps a secret for, unaware he’s being used. I’m not quite sure what the secret is currently. However, he finds himself accidentally pulled into the palace of his “friend” and finds out he’s being used and manipulated. And suddenly he’s ready to let the caged bird sing.
Zephyranthes: The Zephyranthes, or the rain flower, means "I will never forget you", black nightingales represent secrets, and the number 5 in numerology is connected to life changes. Also, the white rose in Atlas’s hair for his palace outfit symbolizes secrets.
No cause seriously there isn’t a single song on the Atlas albums by sleeping at last that isn’t beautiful. Like each one lights up the soul and brings me to tears in its ability to capture and illustrate the wonder and beauty of the world around us.
Who the fuck is this?!?!
just some bioshock doodles/designs for fun hehe
right after posting this i'm gonna start bioshock 2 so wish me luck! 💙💙💙
AAAAAAHHHH SORRY I JUST COULDNT LET IT GO
i liked the idea of giving Jack different eyes for each plasmid so much that i drew every plasmid from the first game since i have no self control
so i finished the game two days ago and i'm still crying over the ending oh my god (i got the good ending, of course, im not a monster) (but i'm a pussy so i managed to save only like 6 Sisters cuz i was terrified of fighting Big Daddies)
i'm still so mad that the stupid bald fuck did not shake my hand i was looking forward to it since the beginning
stupid bald man (affectionately)
me in my head: should I tell everyone in Aperture that the queen of England is dead
me: *looks at Wheatley who is from England*
me in my head: yeah, I should
*later*
GLaDOS: *who in my AU loves Wheatley and is his girlfriend aka soon to be wife is comforting him*
Wheatley: *crying*
Nigel: *doesn't care but feels bad for Wheatley on the inside*
Kevin: *trying to help GLaDOS*
Rick: *just walks away*
Richard: *kicking Rick's butt from being disrespectful*
heavy metal core/Thomas: *feels awkward because he's never seen Wheatley cry before, and is listening to a song which just had one of the lyrics God save the Queen*
anger/Harley: *is crying on the inside*
intelligence/Leah: *trying to give Wheatley a peace of cake*
morality/sapphire: *telling her little sister about the queen*
curiosity/Maria: *is listening to her big sister and is trying to understand and asking a lot of questions*
P-body and Atlas: *doesn't know what to say*
Virgil: *is trying not to cry, because I made him very emotional in my AU*
Rainbow core/James: *is getting ready to be hug by his tall boyfriend*
Mac: *looks at me and breaks the fourth wall*, don't you live in the UK in real life?
Me: *looks at Mac*, yes, but I live in a different part of the UK
Mac: oh yeah, you're going to have to make another post about all of us right
Me: O_O
AEGIS: *who is late*, hey everyone, what is going on here
Me: well, sh-
the next post will be posted soon
Been having a rough time as of late but I still managed to get some artwork done after a long break from drawing. Inspired by a quote I saw here on tumblr. Also I hate doing backgrounds but they say practice makes it easier, so I persevere.
From a tour of Saturn's many enthralling moons to an incredible view of Earth through its rings, the planet continues to captivate the imagination. This week, here are 10 things you need to know about our fascinating ringed neighbor.
When Galileo Galilei was observing Saturn in the 1600s, he noticed strange objects on each side of the planet. He drew in his notes a triple-bodied planet system with ears. These "ears" were later discovered to be the rings of Saturn.
Saturn orbits our sun and is the sixth planet from the sun at an average distance of about 886 million miles or 9.5 AU.
Time flies when you're on Saturn. One day on Saturn takes just 10.7 hours (the time it takes for Saturn to rotate or spin once). The planet makes a complete orbit around the sun (a year in Saturnian time) in 29 Earth years, or 10,756 Earth days. saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/news/2955/measuring-a-day
That's because you can't stand on Saturn—it's a gas-giant planet and doesn't have a solid surface. But you might want a jacket. The planet's temperatures can dip to -220 degrees F.
Only a handful of missions have made their way to Saturn: Pioneer 11, Voyager 1 and 2, and Cassini-Huygens, which is there now. Since 2004, Cassini has been exploring Saturn and its moons and rings—but will complete its journey on Sept. 15, 2017.
This month is a great time to observe Saturn from Earth. Check out June's "What's Up?" video for a how-to guide.
Saturn's spectacular ring system is made up of seven rings with several gaps and divisions between them. From now until September, the Cassini spacecraft is performing a set of daring dives every week between the planet and the rings. No other mission has ever explored this unique region before, and what we learn from these final orbits will help us understand of how giant planets—and planetary systems everywhere—form and evolve.
Saturn has a total of 62 moons: 53 known moons, with an additional nine moons awaiting confirmation.
Saturn's moon Atlas looks like a flying saucer. See for yourself.
Saturn can't support life as we know it, but some of its moons have conditions that might support life. Ocean worlds could be the answer to life in space and two of Saturn's moons—Titan and Enceladus—are on that list.
