listening to baroque music n stuff for school, but i gotta say, the harpsichord fuckin slaps dude

like it sounds so mysterious and haunting but also so regal

like it's what walking around with a candle in an old rococo mansion sounds like

makes me wanna put on a big poofy curly wig and leggings, and walk around like an 18th century composer

the harpsichord is so cool man

"However the indisputable Master of the Fugue without any doubt was J.S.Bach. This is because at his best he was able to blend an almost mathematical perfection of the art form with his own profound emotional realizations.

Bach almost literally wrote the book on Fugues. He produced two books called the well-tempered clavier known by some as the Old Testament of piano music if Beethoven's Sonata is of a New Testament. These two books each have 24 preludes and fugues - one set for each key and we've looked at preludes in another video but these books are like an exploration of the full possibilities of the fugue. He also wrote an unfinished masterwork "The Art of Fugue" - the culmination of his life's work which is practically a textbook of the incredible musical potential of the simplest musical idea.

You can also find some of his richest and most powerful fugues in his Vocal Works: Try his "Motets" or his "B Minor Mass".

So what is a fugue?"

Today I walked around St. Petersburg. I really liked the architecture, most of it is dominated by the classical style. Well, not to the extent yet, where I went, I like Baroque more - a very magnificent and solemn style in contrast to restrained classicism. But a large number of buildings have been restored and are still being restored, and it is hoped that their original structure has been preserved or will be preserved during the restoration. I really wanted to go to one of the temples and admire the architecture and oil paintings on the walls and ceilings of cathedrals. I was very impressed with the masts and the structure itself, and the location of the city. You can't get lost in this city, because all the streets there are almost parallel and perpendicular.

This Is A Photo Of Guarino Guarini's Church, Santissima Annunziata Dei Teatini, Before It Was Destroyed

this is a photo of Guarino Guarini's church, Santissima Annunziata dei Teatini, before it was destroyed by the Messina earthquake in 1908.

Because the image has colour, it's interesting to pretend it's current day but just blurry. It looks like something you could encounter in your daily life

From The Wikipedia Page Of Guarino Guarini. I Like How In That Era, Their Culture Was About Being A Polymath

from the wikipedia page of Guarino Guarini. I like how in that era, their culture was about being a polymath and intellectuals were expected to speculate on so many different topics. It would be interesting if it were like that today. Athanasius Kircher must be the ultimate example of this.

Maybe 'living life as art' is a reincarnation of this ideal.

☀️ The In-between ☀️

This started last year as a vent, although it faded away from it's original concept. Anyways, it was nice to play with the golden tones and the sea looks like bread.

Heavenly Sky ~ SavierLikesANight

Heavenly Sky ~ SavierLikesANight

These days have been hectic, stressful for me and the people around me. In which, one of them had to leave this earth. It will be in our memories like the sun remembers the moon after the stars rise.

As much as your eyes are covered with dried tears, you looked at the star you chose and thought; I enjoyed it when I was there. I will miss it, but soon I will feel the sunlight on my skin, as well as the brightness of every night and day to come.
