I am begging, BEGGING you, whoever you are, to stop writing these. About ten years ago the titles were funny, and the twitter account was funny, and the lore around the clearly fictional Chuck Tingle was funny, but around the time Trump was elected, they turned into increasingly deranged, uninformed and mediocre political diatribes masquerading as whatever the hell this is supposed to be. Literature? Satire? I think the author is going for satire, but unfortunately these books are not satire. They're not funny, they're not clever, they're not subtle, and they're not nuanced. And they're not funny. Did I mention that?
This one is particularly hellacious, because it's clearly just the author getting frustrated about something and thinking "Time to write a Chuck Tingle book to tell everyone how I feel about this subject!" The creators of South Park occasionally do something similar, but their show is actually witty and relevant, unlike this hot garbage. The only thing funny about this book, if it can even be called a book, is that it very obviously and embarrassingly reveals the author for who she is (I'm going out on a limb and guessing "Chuck Tingle" is female). Because although obviously a bisexual in a heterosexual relationship is still bisexual, nobody who is actually gay OR bisexual will disagree that there is a huge influx of functionally straight people opting into being "queer" (I hate that word) out of guilt for being part of the majority, or the desire to partake in the fetish of victimhood that has permeated our society in the past ten years, or maybe they're just trying to be cooler than they are. They're mostly straight women. Wild guess here: "Chuck Tingle" is one of them, and is mad that she was called out at some point for doing exactly that.
In any case: Chuck Tingle, go away. Go away and put down your pen and call it a day and close this tired, unfunny, embarrassing chapter of your life. And get some counseling or something.

For the longest time I was trying to figure out why they thought pansexuals were simultaneously bisexual and biphobic and after extensive research I've figured out that it's because panphobes have no critical thinking skills.

Hey. This is my first time posting anything onto Instagram. This past Spring semester I made character designs for this Stranger Things fanfic called Stranger Things: The Seven Chronicles. Technically it was for school, but I was having a sort of artist block when trying to think of something to work on for my class. I also wanted to make artwork for this fanfic because… well I created to characters personally for it. The fanfic is an SYOC fanfic (Submit/Select Your Own Character). The story takes place in 1976 in Rockford, Illinois where a group of teens find a strange boy who happens have waterbending powers. This character here is one I made for the fanfic. Her name is Natroya “Naty” Rhodes. She’s a black cheerleader who strives for perfection in her athletic ability and wants to maintain her position as a popular. Naty can come across as the mean girl, but mainly to those that are in the high school popularity hierarchy. She’s friends with classmates that are on the lower end of the popularity chain because they’re less of a threat to her. When talking to the author they sometimes say that Naty is like the Lucas of the teens. Granted the major difference between Naty and Lucas in my eyes is that Lucas’ hostility towards the new member of the group comes from the stress of one his best friends being missing. Naty’s hostility comes from not knowing who this teenage is and thus can’t recognize what he’s all about. She can figure out her classmates and whether they’re a threat to her on the high school social hierarchy, but not this teen in a hospital gown. Found this on Archive of Our Own one time. I usually avoid reading this type of thing, or at least read once and never again since I have a pretty good memory of things, but i don’t know I’m weirdly intrigued.
Honestly I don’t read smut... but I found intriguing was it got me thinking about my favorite Cars girls as a femslash pairing. It’s written in a way that honestly does feel in character for both. Holley being nervous and flustered about her attraction and Sally being the more bold and confident of the two. That feels in-character for them (along with Sally being the one with the experience and initiates it and being on top). There’s also the description of the body language the two have that Sally can tell Holley’s attracted to her and giving Holley the confirmation that she likes her too. Thus when they do the deed they are giving permission and consent with Sally leading the way.
I shouldn’t have to praise that part because that’s something that SHOULD be understand by people. Consent and both sides taking initiative. Not just one party saying “WE HAVE SEX WHEN I WANT IT! YOUR OPINION OR FEELING OF IT DON’T MATTER!” Oh and the feeling that they actually do like each other and see each other as equals.
Any relationship, whether romantic, platonic, or even sexual, should have all parties feel equal to each other in the emotional sense.
Well that’s my two cents, going to back to start planning my own femslash fanfic while also thinking about the canon ships.
Oh, and a possible Cars Hunger Games-esque Rebellion AU of Francesco/Sally.
