I made this today. At the beginning I wasn’t sure if I should color it and what to use if I did and I just sort of ended up experimenting with my crayola and complimentary colors.

I unexpectedly don’t hate it.

P.S: yes, I did make this sketchbook. I used some random colored paper I had and stacked them in order and sewed the whole thing with copic stitch (the covers were made from an old plastic folder I never used).

Yes, I do love sketching on colored paper. It gives it a certain 😤 hmph ✨✨✨ you know?

Another experiment with the new watercolor paper. I think I’ve only tried to do skin with watercolor once before. At the beginning I thought it looked terrible. But it actually turned out quite okay :D.

I got some new watercolor paper that I needed for some college homework, so I experimented a little bit with it, since I wasn’t sure how well it’d behave.

I normally work with 100% cotton, and this one was 50% so I was kinda doubtful it’d behave, but it actually did quite decently. It just bends a little even with the tape on, can’t handle as much water (aka backgrounds that cover it almost completely).

I think this is one of my first digital art original pieces that is completed, and I mean original as in not fanart.

I’m so happy with this one, I didn’t even have to use references for the pose, just for the flowers! 🥺🤧😭 I’m so happy with how far I’ve gotten, and I hope to keep learning.
