Umm AU idea where Gene Wilder’s Willy Wonka and Johnny Depp’s Willy Wonka exist in the same universe as business partners or smthn and the company is called Willy & Wonka because one of them is named Willy and the other’s name is Wonka but they’d have different last names/first names like it’d be Willy Winchester and Weston Wonka I dunno.
Weston would probably be Gene’s version and be all happy and cheery and loves kids and everything and loves to inspire etc. is super friendly and enthusiastic but Willy AKA Johnny’s version is super distant and nervous and snobby and still has his whole Tragic Backstory™ and is like ew no don’t touch me or my candy with your sticky fingers you tiny demon.
And when the kids tour the factory and Weston’s like welcome kids! Willy just mutters something like I hope one of you drown in the chocolate river and then WeSTON JUST ELBOWS HIM REALLY HARD AND LAUGHS NERVOUSLY LIKE HAHA IGNORE HIM HE DOESN’T GET OUT MUCH.

The thing that’s so ridiculous about fans infantilizing Mob is I feel like they’re losing sight of one of the most important elements of the series. Mob’s explosions are not him being taken over by someone else, he isn’t being possessed, these are the result of him being pushed too far with his emotions. Granted we still don’t know what ???% is (I honestly thought it was his subconscious but who knows), but his explosions are actually part of him. This isn’t like when Naruto would slip and get taken over by the Kyuubi. This is him hitting a boiling point. What Mob needs is self control and help with restraining himself in a healthier way as repression does not work. That’s literally why he went to Reigen and what his entire character arc is based around. And people come across like they’re missing this when they’re all “pwecious smol babu who needs to be hidden from harsh reality”.

Hey I know you probably won’t care/notice but as someone who’s read Twig and is caught up on Pale but here’s my 2 cents on Wildbows growth
Spoilers obviously (I don’t know how to do the keep reading thing)
For Twigs main trans character I’d say while not perfect the representation is pretty good, admittedly it’s somewhat hindered by the fact that arguably they transition led for someone else to love them but they also say that’s not it so it gets a bit odd
On the gay front it’s more mixed with their being a relationship with gay undertones later on in the story buts it’s also kinda accompanied by a sorta possessiveness which makes sense for the character but like other Wildbow things is like, it makes sense but come on man
In Pale meanwhile it’s a good deal better, with both a major Trans character who’s written well with their past both being very much a part of them and there story but also not being the entirety of their character and a main character who’s gay with a good amount of their story revolving around the struggles of being gay in a small town in rural Canada while also not falling into may tropes
But that’s my random two cents so yeah
