Just found out the guy Iâve had an on and off crush on for like almost what feels like an eternity is getting married! For some reason, I always thought my heart would break, but Iâm actually feeling happy. I feel like I donât have to put myself through anymore and am finally free to just live my life and not care about what he thinks. Guys, Iâm a stupid person, but Iâve learned. All Iâm hoping is that he stays married so thereâs not a possibility of that crush coming back anymore. I say that because a lot of people who I grew up with are getting divorced like after a year theyâre married, I just hope he doesnât. IM FINALLY FREE!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways the way Tumblr treats the Perks Of Being A Wallflower like itâs cringe and bad just because of the hipster craze over it in 2012 and ignoring the fact that itâs one of the few books/movies that shows the ugly side of teen mental illness and discusses sexual trauma in young boys (something only portrayed in shows like SVU) is in fact, bullshit, and Iâll never forgive y'all for taking the line âwe accept the love we think we deserveâ (a reference to toxic abusive relationships) and turning it into cringe culture. This is a book about a struggling depressed kid who I saw myself in as a teen, and yeah he and his friends could be annoying and pretentious but are you going to say you werenât as a kid?

God, Tolkien naming his book âThe Hobbitâ was such a big dick move. Like, back then people didnât know what a hobbit was. Itâd be like if I released a book called âThe Smarpleâ and 50 years later everyone just knew what a smarple was.
This classic scene from A Goofy Movie is a wonderful example of building cinematic tension. Notice how as the car gets closer to the freeway junction, the shots not only get shorter and shorter, but the camera moves in closer for an almost claustrophobic effect, reflecting the pressure that Max is experiencing making his decision. On top of that, the camera angles become more and more dynamic as it all plays out, the music cresendos, and at the very end of the piece, the tension snaps right when Max makes his choice. See if you notice any of the implied symbolism among some of the imagery spliced throughout (the map, the signs, etc.).
She sadly did not have the creativity to name all of them unique names so she named each one a number from 1-100. One of them was named âoneâ, the next was âtwoâ and so on all the way to one hundred. But, in a tragic accident, 99 of the children died. The only one who survived was the one named âNinetyâ. Ninety eventually grew up and lived a whole life and she even had a few children of her own. One day, while Ninetyâs children were playing outside, they stumbled upon a stray dog and the decided to keep it. Ninety did not want the children to have a dog so they hid it and named it âThisâ so that they could talk about it around their mom without her knowing. They would say âLets go take This outside.â and things like that behind their momâs back. One day, while Ninetyâs children were not paying attention, This walks out into the middle of the street and gets hit by a car. This eventually dies and Ninetyâs kids donât tell their mother even then. No one else ever hears about This ever again.
Only Ninetyâs Kids remember This.
