im glad you’ve taken it well!! while my biggest post DOES include the albums, they just weren’t really bringing me any joy? i was happy seeing people like them yk getting my daily dopamine fix, but it just wasn’t something i wanted to become my meta or whatever

concerning the album emojis

hey guys, we decided to make a blank template for the album emojis for a couple of reasons

the amount of requests we are getting for them is insane and while we are grateful for the engagement it ain’t all we wanna be known for

we want to get some requests for different emojis/make our own cause all we’re spendin doing for this blog is just those

now i gotta make it clear we ain’t mad if you requested them, it’s been on the plate for a minute and we’re just now deciding to go through with it, we love y’all very much for all the attention that we’ve been getting + all of the compliments

that being said we also aint gonna be accepting any more requests for the albums and any that get sent in will either be ignored or they’ll be redirected back to this post

and as always if you use these (or ANY of our emojis, specifically for disc) then you make sure you put “spocmoji” in front of the emoji name we’re tryna get credit for our shit

Quick reminder that you shouldn’t be requesting our using symbols or emojis or “slang words” that are AAVE, especially if you didn’t grow up in a black community.

The black community’s culture is actively being stolen from us everyday despite still facing heavy racism, this includes our words, such as AAVE, which we have faced enormous backlash from non-black creators when it comes to asking people to limit their usage of it

As one of few black aac and emoji creators we have seen a lot of ignorance and racism within the community, therefore i highly recommend listening to your local POC individuals when they tell you to stop doing, saying or using something

Please do your own research and respect other cultures.
