In the desolate aftermath of a catastrophic battle, Aizawa Shouta trudged through the debris, his soul weighed down by the heavy burden of grief. The once-vibrant city now lay in ruins, mirroring the shattered pieces of Aizawa's heart.

Amidst the wreckage, he discovered Mic's lifeless form, a stark contrast to the dynamic hero who once filled their lives with laughter. Aizawa cradled Mic's cold body, his anguished sobs echoing through the desolation as he clung to the remnants of a love lost in the chaos of heroism.

The days that followed were a numb blur for Aizawa. He moved through life like a ghost, haunted by the absence of Mic's infectious energy. UA High felt empty without the sound of his partner's laughter reverberating through the hallways.

Aizawa's erasure quirk, once a symbol of control, now served as a bitter reminder of his inability to erase the pain within. The hero known for his stoicism found himself crumbling under the weight of sorrow, unable to escape the suffocating darkness that enveloped him.

As the city began to rebuild, Aizawa remained a solitary figure, a silent guardian haunted by the specter of loss. The world moved on, but Aizawa existed in a perpetual state of mourning, forever tethered to the memories of a love that once illuminated his life but was now extinguished in the relentless march of tragedy.

Much needed levity for Erasermic between the battles i cant imagine that Aizawa could survive a lifetime with Present Mic without being a LITTLE bit sillygoofy

For an art request can you please draw one of your headcanons?

I’m not entirely sure if this would be considered a headcanon or not but I like the thought that Aizawa is more emotionally open around Mic and that he values him a lot.

[Long wall of text of my thoughts and opinions incoming]

Like, I understand the comedy aspect of Aizawa being somewhat of a dick towards Mic seeing as that is how their dynamic is often portrayed as in the show, i.e. Aizawa being annoyed/putting up with Mic’s shenanigans. Their relationship does get more expanded upon in the Hospital raid arc but even then, Aizawa being more of a fan-favourite because, among other things, he’s part of the main cast gets more fleshed out than Mic despite Oboro having been both of their friend. In the hospital after the raid, Aizawa shows a certain degree of dismissiveness of Mic’s feelings, which yes, I can understand may be because he didn’t want to talk about it and that was his way of coping, but remember that they are alone and it has been shown that he is often more open with his feelings and opinions when it’s just the two of them, not to mention that Mic is now his only surviving friend from back in their days at U.A. At least maybe show the audience Aizawa having some kind of emotional reaction to the fact that Midnight, a close friend of theirs, who has impacted his life a lot, ex. with sending in an application to U.A, has just died.

And like I said, I do understand and actually like the more teasing side of their relationship but what I don’t like is when it’s just Aizawa treating Mic poorly and Mic is depicted as the stupid comic relief when his character is a lot more nuanced.

As previously mentioned, however, Mic is just a side character which means the show and the creator won’t bother making him more complex than necessary (often to further Aizawa’s story) which means that the fanbase who don’t think too much about him as a character will just staple him as the comic relief (which I want to make clear is totally fine because we all have characters we focus on more than others, be it a comfort character or simply just caring for one character more than another).

What I don’t like is when it’s clear that someone favours Aizawa more than Mic in the Erasermic relationship and portrays Mic as “inferior” to Aizawa and bases his character off of his stereotypes (ex. being loud all the time and acting immature) and won’t look past that. Fortunately, I rarely stumble upon this sort of interpretation and I want to once again make it clear that it’s fine if you like one character more in a ship, my point is that I personally dislike when the other character in the relationship isn’t given at least some of that focus and is more like an accessory than anything.

For me with the Erasermic dynamic, I like when a clear balance is shown. I personally am a big fan of Mic and I like breaking his character down to its bare bones and giving him more depth than the source material does…so basically making my own headcanons about him lol. But I also like Aizawa a lot and I guess my guilty pleasure is portraying them in a healthy and equal companionship where Mic isn’t the only one who openly shows his appreciation.

So, uh, yeah. That was a lot lol. Apologies for the long wait, I had an exam a few days ago and finally had some free time to work on the request. I hope the drawing is sufficient and correlates to the wall of text above.

On another note, here’s an extra little headcanon of these two being two of the smartest characters in the show, yet not hesitating to egg each other on when it comes to dumb ideas (I drew this in like 5 seconds and barely put any effort into it lol)

I don't think we talk enough about the fact every time Shouta has interacted with the public/Press he has looked like this:

And whenever he's interacted with parents or Guardians of the kids, he looked like this:

Now this is how Shouta usually looks:

Curly and wild hair, facial hair as well, dark eyebags, he's scared many characters just by his looks. (Ochako, Izuku, etc.)

Shouta is a man that has no care for appearances nor how others view him. And yet, he cleaned up in the name of his kids. He, or someone, straightened his hair, maybe even cut it a bit, he shaved, put on a suit and tie, I even think he could have put make up under his eyes because of the lack of heavier eyebags.

Now, we know this. Old news.

But consider:

There's a real possibility that the kids parents have never met Shouta when he was not dressed up, and do not know him as anything else but that cleaned up version.

Can you imagine you meet your kids teacher, he's quiet but polite and well kept. Very straight to the point and well mannered.

Time goes by, parents evening comes up and you're talking with all the teachers, asking about your kid's grades and such, you ask where the homeroom teacher is, Mr Aizawa, they point across the room, you expect to see that quiet but polite man talking to another parent maybe.

Instead you see a sickly tired looking man, curly hair unbrushed and knotted, he's holding a ugly yellow sleeping bag under his arm. He's drinking out of a jelly packet, next to him is a punk rock guy with the ugliest fucking moustache you've ever seen, and a woman who looks like she's from Victoria Secret.

Tell me you would NOT wonder what the FUCK happened.

I love AllEraserMic as much as the next guy, but I also think the idea of Eraser fumbling the bag twice and having them end up together is the funniest thing in the world.

Imagine you're a fellow teacher at U.A hero academy.

You're literally the perfect thing, beautiful, (handsome), kind, innocent and intelligent. Who wouldn't like you?

When you first got a job at U.A, Shota Aizawa was pretty distant towards you. As he is to most people.

"Aizawa, would you like to-"

"No."

"But I didn't even-"

"No."

So yeah, at first Aizawa had no interest in you or what you had to offer. But you were so nice...and every kid in his class looked up to you because of how amazing you were...and Aizawa just couldn't ignore you for long. He would often hear his class talking about you in class.

"Y/N-Sensei looked so cool today!"

"How did they get their quirk to be so strong, ribbit..."

"Man!! They're so manly!"

"Tch. Whatever. Their not that strong."

"Huh? Oh, come on, Kacchan! You know their awesome! Just admit it!"

"Shut it, dunce face, before I toss you out the damn window."

These were just some of the conversations Aizawa heard about you. Most of them talked about how strong you or your quirk was, with the occasional pervy comment left by Mineta.

Aizawa gets more and more interested in you day after day. The way you dress, how you talk, he slowly but surely starts becoming more and more protective and even possessive over you.

He gets closer to you, listens to you ramble about your hyperfixations, or just anything, really.

He stil trys l convinces himself that he doesn't love you, but that ends quickly when you start dating a pro hero.

Aizawa was fucking furious. Why would you waist your time on a person who loves the spotlight more than they love you, when you could be with him?!

The only reason the person isn't dead yet, is because Aizawa doesn't want you to be upset.

So instead he just makes sure that pro hero can't climb up the hero ranks. For your whole relationship with them, that pro hero is stuck at the 30th spot.

But that all changes when you don't come to work one day. Because Aizawa is a good person, he goes to your apartment to make sure you're okay.

You end up spilling your guts out to him, cryong as you say you found out the pro hero you were dating cheated on you with a hotter co-worker.

All laws about murder, prepare to be ignored!

The raven haired man kills him, obviously. Not like a lot of people would be distraught, he wasn't popular at all. Thanks to him, of course. Hardly anyone cared, even you. That asshole treated you like shit, but you still felt bad.

Doing you a favor, Aizawa even made it seem like the girl that pro hero cheated on you with was the one who killed him, and she was sent to the slammer.

But he still didn't have you.

"Heya, Shota!" Hizashi smiles brightly as he takes a seat next to his friend in the teacher's lounge.

Aizawa simply nods at him. Hizashi tilts his head, leaning back on the chair he sits in. Hizashi isn't stupid, he can see that something's bothering his bestfriend. "Somethin' wrong, Shota?" He asks in a quieter tone, which isn't saying much.

Aizawa nods again.

Hizashi looks around the teachers lounge, making sure its empty. He leans in closer, a devilish smirk on his face. "Ya know, Shota." He whispers, wrapping an arm around his shoulder.

"I know what you did." He whispers in his ear, making Aizawa freeze. Aizawa panics inside, but he remains a calm exterior so Hizashi doesn't suspect anything. Maybe he's talking about something else.

"I know you killed that new hero, didn't you?" Hizashi finally whispers again. Aizawa freezes again. No. Hizashi...wouldn't report him to the police...would he? He wouldn't expose him! Would...Aizawa have to kill him too?

Suddenly, Hizashi smirks. "Hey, hey, don't panic." He laughs, pulling off him slightly. "You did it for L/N, right?" He asks in a very quiet tone.

Aizawa glances at him. Now he was confused. What? Why was he asking? "Why does it matter?Don't tell me I'll have to kill you too." Aizawa says in a threatening and quiet tone.

Hizashi smiles and shakes his head. "No, no!" He leans closer again. "In fact," that same devilish grin appears on his face. "I want in." He whispers.

Thats how Eraserhead and Present Mic became partners in becoming incredibly obsessed with you.

Now, Hizashi was a lot different than Aizawa, and 10 times more obsessed. He's a lot more manipulative and controlling, and very very very clingy.

Together, they work together. Aizawa kills, and Hizashi covers it up.

Hizashi puts secret cameras in your office and Aizawa watches the footage. Honestly, you should really lock your doors...

...because they also enjoy watching you sleep in person.

just imagine: natsuo finally graduates and UA stuff can sit back and relax and then BOOM! GUESS WHAT it's shouto fucking todoroki and he's UNWELL AND READY TO CAUSE TROUBLE

thinking about aizawa who came up with his homeless man look purely for job reasons. i mean it's more likely for people at the middle of the night to not notice some hobo then the whole ass hero so aizawa usually has an advantage in a fight or info gathering.

and because UA teachers wear their hero costumes for classes aizawa looks how he looks.

and he and yamada find it hilarious when their students don't recognize them in public when they wearing their civilian clothes.

basically aizawa and yamada are in the different sides of spectrum called 'my students do not recognize me in public because of my hero persona'
