I am Amal from Gaza. A mother of 4 girls ( Judy 8y in 2nd grade at school, Mariam 7y grade 1 in school, Rasha 5y in KG1 And Misk 3y).
I have been displaced from our home with my daughters without my husband. It's now more than 11 months since my daughters and I didn't see him. Every day my daughters ask me about their father with tears, they miss him so much.
We are now live in a tent. We lost our home which we had recently rebuilt before the war, it cost us more than 20k$ to rebuild. It has been completely destroyed. We are now homeless and my husband also lost his job due to the war. With this bad situation, not enough food, and no clean water my daughters got sick every single week. Also, my eldest daughter suffers from permanent amoebiasis in the intestines, there is no treatment available.
I am asking you , my friends , to keep supporting my family who is full of hope and wishes that things could be better with you.
Your donation eases the painful moments of the war 🤍 and relieves the tragic 😥 sufferings of the people of Gaza who have been going through the saddest and most painful😭😭 experiences they have ever had. We used to live peacefully in the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, in a house we built just a week before the war began. I worked as a farmer and owned a large chicken farm that provided for my family.

However, for 116+ days, me and my family have been under intense bombing and warplanes rockets in the Gaza strip. Our home was targeted in a tank bombing on the 25th of November 2023 that left it unlivable, along with the entire neighborhood of Al-Burij refugee camp, in Gaza City.
When we returned back to our home to get some needed itemsand clothes, we found that Israeli soldiers also steal our belongings. Since that day, my family has been sleeping in a miserable tent in Rafah, in the south of Gaza, which has become a home for all people from the Gaza strip, whose homes were also destroyed by airstrikes, but they have survived thus far.
I can't express how useless and depressed we felt after finding out what they'd been through and are currently going through. Each moment, we worry about losing them. Without connection settings, we cannot constantly contact them. During the moment of typing, over 25,0000 individuals have been killed in Gaza. They are without electrical power or heating for a period of three months, food is limited, and their drinking water is unsafe for human consumption. My family's only hope is to evacuate to to a safer place out of Gaza. My family went through the loss of several friends, and many of them have lost their spouses and children. I am afraid of losing my family. They are the light that leads me through my life. I cannot live or survive without them.
The expenses of travel for 5 people are as follows:
• $50000 for the boarding pass (Egyptian coordination) to pass Rafah border, 10000$ for each person.

My name is Suad Ahmad, and I am an engineer from Gaza. I graduated from university at the top of my class and quickly advanced in my career as an instructor, consultant, and team leader. My husband and I were overjoyed to learn that I was pregnant, but our happiness was short-lived. Just a week later, the occupation began its illegal scorched earth campaign against the people of Gaza. Our home and my workplace were destroyed, and my husband's family and I were displaced from the north.
On the day I went into labor, I had to walk a great distance to the hospital. When I arrived, I found that the hospital was operating at minimal capacity, and there wasn't even a bed for me. My baby was born with minimal medical support, and the experience was extremely difficult. Then, the occupation began bombing the vicinity of the hospital, putting us in immense danger with nowhere to turn.
Unfortunately, the situation has only gotten worse. My baby and I are now living in a tent in extreme heat. The attacks continue, putting our lives in immediate danger. The blockade on Rafah Crossing and the destruction of roads and infrastructure have led to extreme food scarcity. I cannot find enough food to feed myself or my baby. I have not been able to recover from the difficult birth, and my baby is missing out on crucial nutrition needed for neonatal development.

Home memories🥺
I always think of our home, which we left nine months ago. How sad he is without us. He became accustomed to us as we became accustomed to him. He witnessed our joys and sorrows, witnessed all the stages of our lives.
I felt as if my house were alive! For I believe that homes have souls just like us. Since we had to flee from our home, he has become alone. He does not hear our voices. My little brother Ahmad is just a child.
He doesn’t understand war. He doesn’t know what a blockade means, or why Dad can’t buy us chocolate anymore.
Every day he grabs a pen and paper, draws toys and colors, and says to me:
“Can you ask them to bring us this?”
I smile… but it breaks me inside.
He asks for simple things—while we’re out here searching for electricity, water, and bread.
He keeps asking:
“Why is there no internet?”
“Why did the world go dark?”
And I don’t know what to say… except:
A war is stealing his childhood.

Here is my story. My family of five and I were living a peaceful and stable life in our beautiful little house. We worked hard to provide a decent life for our three children, and they were proud to see our children learn and grow in a safe and stable environment. But in a sudden moment, their lives changed forever.
The disaster happened when our house was completely destroyed due to the war. They lost everything: their home, their source of income, and even their children’s education. They became homeless and insecure, living in difficult and dangerous conditions. The children, who used to go to school with joy and hope, are now deprived of their most basic rights to education, and live in constant fear.
And now. My husband and I are trying hard to secure their basic needs, but we face great challenges. Every day is a struggle for survival, and an attempt to rebuild what they lost. I contemplate the happy faces of people around me here in Ireland and reminisce about the happy normal life my family and I had before the war. A life that turned into a distant memory for us and was replaced by an unending series of horrible nightmares.
Unlike my family in Gaza, people here have access to drinking water, all types of food, electricity, and a roof over their heads. Above all, they are safe, and I cannot help but wonder if they genuinely do appreciate these blessings in their lives enough.
People seem relaxed and laughing wholeheartedly around me in Ireland. I wish I could laugh too, but I am crushed way beyond recovery on the inside. I was evacuated by my Irish college after five months of living the horrors of war in Gaza. I hope you will never know what it feels like to live in constant fear and worry and be horrified by the most sickening and scary nightmares every single night while you are far away from your family in such circumstances.
When did my people in Gaza cease to be human beings worthy and deserving of a normal life? Has it become normal now for my family in Gaza to be starved and killed while the whole world is watching the genocide? If that is the case, then you will have to excuse me if I seek every avenue to bring them to Ireland and start a new normal life like all people here around me.
I was assured by the Irish Reugee Council (IRC) and lawyers in Ireland that there is hope I can reunite with my family in Ireland. In difficult times, it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. For me and my family, you are literally our light and hope for a better life.

I am Maram Al-Nabulsi, I currently live in the completely destroyed 🏚🚀city of Gaza, specifically Khan Younis. Since the war on Gaza began on 10/7/2023, my family - my father Muhammad, my mother Hiba and my siblings Nour, Maram, Mahmoud - have been living in constant fear, crying and suffering because of shrapnel, shells and bullets. We have no food🥘🌯, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools🏢📚, no homes🏚, no cleaning supplies, no clothes🧣🧥🧤. Our house was completely destroyed. My school was bombed, and my sister Nour's university was turned into rubble, which deprived us all of education. The war forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents that are not suitable for living, especially in winter. Every day we live death, terror and panic a thousand times because of the continuous bombing of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the beginning of the war, we took refuge in my aunt's house, but it was also turned into rubble. Imagine: We have escaped imminent death more than 20 times, and have been displaced between shelters more than 13 times. My brothers and I have suffered from many diseases due to malnutrition, and we need medicine constantly. If we stay in Gaza, we may lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza to a safe place. However, the travel costs are very high. We need more than 70 thousand dollars to leave Gaza. Due to the exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, insecurity, the ongoing blockade, and the continuous bombing, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity💔🙏, with the constant bombing and shrapnel flying above us? My dear compassionate friends around the world, with your generous donations, even if small, you can save 5 people from imminent death, allowing us to start a life outside Gaza full of love, peace, and hope. We are living through the worst days of our lives in displacement camps in Deir al-Balah, having been displaced four times in a row. Hello, my name is Areej Kassab. I’m a 27-year-old English teacher and writer from Gaza, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for support. My family and I are enduring unimaginable hardships as relentless bombings devastate our home and our dreams.
We are a family of 15—10 adults and 5 children. Every day is a battle for survival. Food is scarce, humanitarian aid is not reaching us, and my little nieces and nephews go to bed hungry. Among them is my sister, who is deaf, and another sister who has a newborn baby. They, too, are suffering in this crisis, and I’m doing everything I can to protect and provide for them.
💔 A Life in Ruins The war has robbed us of everything: safety, peace, and even the hope of a future here. My family’s needs are basic yet critical—food, clean water, diapers for the babies, gas for cooking, and other essentials to make it through each day.
With rising prices and limited access to necessities, we are struggling to provide even the most basic items. My sister’s home has been destroyed, and we are working together to ensure everyone has shelter, food, and warmth.
