MARIO BROTHERS: Humble Beginnings
Part 1
So, uh… I made this comic wayyyy back, when the Mario movie was first announced… I was waiting to post it until more parts were complete, annnnd then completely forgot about it. 😅
Well, no time like the present, right?
Anyway, this is kind of how I envisioned a “Mario Origin Story” would begin. If this gets some attention, maybe it’ll continue… 🤷

i just think it’s INSANELY adorable how if Bowser is big enough to where kamek can only grasp his finger, let alone his CLAW,, imagine luigi in kamek’s place. Im feeding you, bowuigi shippers.

someone needs to contact a member of illumination/anyone who worked on the mario movie and ask them if they meant to make bowser and luigi have intense sexual tension because,,
they ar having girls talk over tea
in actuality bowser doesnt keep peach locked up the whole time, he just does it as soon as mario’s there- they are simply putting on a show! in reality its all a stunt to make it look like bowser doesnt have a bit fat crush on luigi. (this is what bows and peach talk bout’ in the downtime) sometimes during these staged kidnappings they jus like- go out shopping or some fun stuffs like that till they round their way back 2 the castle

Bowuigi prompt feat Luigi and Roy bonding experience™️
Two months after he's been kidnapped and held hostage in a strange world and had his life changed forever, Luigi is facing a kind of internal crisis. He's trying to find romance
The problem is his brain keeps on focusing on a certain koopa king, and he can not figure out why.
He thinks he's under some kind of hypnosis at first, making him think of these things, but unfortunately, for Luigi, he finds himself under a different kind of spell. Not only is Bowser hot, but he's also realizing why he never wanted to get a girlfriend.
Luigi suddenly realizes he's bisexual and PANICS cause he's afraid that nobody would accept him for who he is.
Fortunately, Roy Koopa hears his troubles and comes to the rescue and reveals to Luigi that he, too, is bisexual.
Also, they bond over acting feminine and crossdressing
As the two grow closer, Luigi talks more about his insecurities, while Roy finally has the courage to reveal to Luigi about his not so great childhood and running away from an abusive household.
Roy, with the help of Wendy, wants to set Luigi up with Bowser on a date, but problem is they're afraid the other koopalings might ruin it so they keep it secret.
As you can tell, hilarious shenanigans ensue, and the date is surprisingly a success. Luigi, thanks Roy for all the crap he's done. Roy thinks the two of them should hang out more often, and Luigi agrees
Luigi bonding with the Koopalings is my new favorite Bowuigi troupe
Imagine the potential of Luigi and the Koopalings interacting, this can make for some really sweet or funny moments between them. Like I really need to see more of this in Bowuigi fics.

Headcanon that sometimes Luigi helps with babysitting the Koopalings whenever Bowser needs it to be done (raising 8 kids all by himself is a huge job). Since Luigi is a plumber and works with technical stuff, I like to think that he helps Iggy work on his machines. Iggy isn't talkative at first. He prefers to work away from distractions and is extremely focused in his work (like ADHD-focused), but Luigi slowly allows Iggy to come out of his shell (pun intended).
Luigi listens to Iggy's info-dumping about science. He gets the whole machinery thing but he has no clue what Iggy is talking about science-wise. Sometimes the other Koopalings join in as well, and by joining in I mean Luigi trying to prevent them from doing mischief.

At the end of the day, they are brothers, and they do act like siblings.
So I’m working on a story for my Coraline LM3 AU and thought I’d share a few things on it right quick:
- This AU is sort of one where Luigi never went on adventures with Mario and E.Gadd never researched ghosts
- Luigi is E.Gadd assistant/ caretaker of six years and highly regrets not following his brother
- E.Gadds inventions (except time machine ones) exist and are failed due to no real reason for a purpose (Sunshine doesn’t exist either sorry FLUDD :( )
- Gooigi is human and E.Gadd’s mute grandson who lives with them (His name is Gareth Toddsworth; E.Gadd had a daughter in this)
- King Boo unfortunately doesn’t exist either due to both I didn’t know how to fit him in and for plot relevance
- The Last Resort is a rundown hotel and the bossghost are its disgruntled staff/ patrons (ex Mac’s a washed up actor known playing a heroic king in several movies)
- Morty is Wybie but goes along more with what Luigi tells him since he still dreams to be a director (he plans to go off to Hollywood once his mom is better)
- Hellen takes the role of the other mother and tries to lure Luigi in with the prospect of having him become as great a hero as his brother
- E.Gadd buys the hotel after realizing he needs to find a better income source due to never gaining anything with his inventions
- The Lay-out of the overworld hotel is a combo od both the original mansion in 1 and the hotel; its other world Counterpart is just the hotel we see in game
I’ll do another post describing the Beldamn’s game and more on the characters themselves at some point but yeah. Tell me what you guys think about this. :)
So I’m making a LM3 Coraline Au That I’ll post some more about later. Morty is Wybie but more down with the other world stuff so he could make a movie on it.
