I know this is a plushum blog but I wanna talk abt something
after the last post about how pedophilia isn’t a sexuality and it’s a mental disorder, I wanna be talk about that more
These kinds of people, the ones who tell people with paraphilic disorders to kill themself, treat pedophilia like a sexuality. Like it’s something ppl with it have as part of their identity and it’s basically identifying as a child rapist
it’s not, it’s a mental illness. Most people with pedophilia have gone through CSA and would never inflict it on others because they know how it feels.
Istg ppl like this make ppl who deserve to live a life where their disorder doesn’t bring them down let their disorder go untreated, until their head is overrun with intrusive thoughts and they feel like the only way out is to kill themself.
don’t kill yourself if you’re struggling with this disorder. Please don’t. Your life is still worth it. You’re not destined to be a child rapist.
