Your gateway to endless inspiration
UHM, HELLO?!
I cannot BELIEVE the AUDACITY you peeps had today! NOT ONE OF YOU TOLD ME IT WAS HARUTA OR FUKABOSHI'S BIRTHDAYS?!
DO YOU KNOW THE KIND OF DAY I HAD?! DO YOU KNOW WHAT I COULD'VE DOODLED OR WROTE FOR THESE TWO, AND NOT ONE OF YOU THOUGHT TO EVEN MENTION IT? Ò0Ó
The amount of disappointment I have is unreal.
(Lol, no I'm joking about the whole being mad. But I did have a pretty rough day, so hearing this from on of the b-day accounts on IG actually made me happy! I'll have to do something for them.
Oh, oh! Before I forget, tomorrow is also Vista's, so you better mark it down to remember! >:3 Maybe I'll do some one shots or doodles. I dunno, it depends on how I feel tomorrow I guess, lol-)
I don't think I've shared the characters I am obsessed with drawing here, so I'll give you all fair warning now:
The characters that I find fun to draw are characters I'll probably draw....a lot, lol.
And on that extensive list is:
-Heat
-Thatch, Rakuyo, and pretty much any WBP member
-Coeazon (because he's best boi and was the first character that really got me doing art for the OP fandom óvò I've drawn Sabo and Sanji first, but I didn't really hammer art until I started drawing for Corazon! So he holds a special place with my art <3)
-Ivankov, somehow XD (And I don't mind it one bit, I'm here for the dramatic designs òwó)
-Lee and Bernice, obviously (they're my OP OCS, of course I draw them all the time!)
-All three ASL brothers, ironically enough. They're easy designs to do, and I love making memes of the three of them sharing a braincell, lol
I'm venturing out to other characters as well, but for the time being, these are the main ones. So while I try new art, please enjoy my Ivankov WIP from a meme template I'm making for the one piece oc peeps :3
Ohhh, look at me posting another chapter for this! Somehow, this is something I took better to in comparison to my cat story (go figure, lol.) Anyways, a couple of things to know going into this chapter: 1. The customer name 'Badeaux' actually translates to the Occitan meaning of 'stupid' and 'gullible'. This was on purpose, lol. 2. I head canon Rakuyo to have heavy Arabic/Egyptian and German influence, and Juzo to have more Hispanic/ Mexican influence. (Rakuyo's uses a flail. They were used frequently in Germany and Egypt, and his attire for some reason reminds me of a lot of the colors used during Egypt. Not to mention some of their clothes were more loose fitting/flowy. In Juzo's canon information (or the wiki on him), it's actually mentioned that his armor is inspired by Aztec warriors or at least closely resembles them, hence the Hispanic head canon.) 3. In One Piece, Buccaneers have been confirmed as a race.(at least from what I've found, This might change with more of the research I do into this project, lol.) HOWEVER, while they have been confirmed, I do believe that there are/ were two people confirmed to be buccaneers, and Whitebeard had been one of them. Ok, I think that about covers it for the head canons/ information I did research on for this chapter. I think all of the gemstone information is also correct. (If it's not and you're a huge nerd that's a lot more savvy in this than I am, please tell me so I can correct it-)
For Chapter 0: please go here! ____________ Word Count: 3575 ____________ ‘Snap. Snap. Snap.’ The crude hand that had waved in front of your vacant gaze had been going for a while now. It was only when the snapping started that your mind had even returned to reality in the first place. A little disappointed that you were ripped from the wandering adventure your thoughts were leading you on to get away from the suffocating gloominess within the shop, your gaze finally focused on the person in front of you. Well, you tried to, anyway. Still trying to tie your imagination back to where you were anchored in the world, you remained silently transfixed on the man before you. He was alone, that much was for sure, yet the shop wasn’t occupied by just him. Just outside your field of vision, there were three others there. By their stature, you figure the three were also me. Odd, given that this ‘was’ a jewelry place. More men had seemed to come through on days in comparison to women.
Ah, but you couldn’t afford the luxury to note all of your customers at the moment, for the man standing at the counter seemed to grow more and more restless.
“Hellloooo? Anyone home?” His words came out as sharp, though they were hollow. Most of the customer’s anger usually was. Staring blankly at the man for a moment longer only seemed to irritate him much further than he already had been.
“Are you going to help me, or do I need to report this to your boss?” The idea of the man waiting outside of the boss’s door for days had seemed amusing, and you were almost tempted to test that. But alas, that wasn’t going to do your own bills any favors.
“Apologies, sir.” You started in. “I was just distracted.” Despite the upfront bitterness the man had shown you, your tone remained friendly and inviting. Even if you felt like snapping back at the man, you always reminded yourself of the ‘one’ helpful piece of advice that your boss had told you: you catch more flies with honey than you do vinegar. Even with the kindness you displayed, the guy had only crossed his arms, his scowl deepening.
“Mhmm, I’m sure.” Sarcasm was what he had retorted with. Greeaatttt, he seemed like he was going to make this a pleasant transaction. You took the moment to look the man over. He did seem like trouble. Well, he certainly dressed like it. A lilac colored dress shirt tucked neatly into a pair of white slacks was held together by a gaudy black belt. The golden buckle itself seemed bigger than anything he could offer, but there again most men that waltzed in dressed to the nines never could offer much fulfillment outside of being a sugar daddy for most women. You couldn’t see exactly what kind of shoes he wore from behind the counter, but did it really matter? The rest of the outfit was enough to tell you he came from the ritzy part of town. Unfortunately for you, that also meant that he was going to be a difficult customer. Usually people from the nicer end of town always came in trying to swindle the shop- as if they needed more money than they already had.
Truth be known, if it weren’t for the other people in the shop, you’d have turned the man away right then and there, all it would’ve taken was a simple excuse of ‘we’re closing for break’ or ‘come back later, I have a meeting with the boss to attend to’. But no. The shop just HAD to be busy at that very moment. Taking what little energy you had mentally stored away for tougher customers, you finally decided to move the transaction along.
“How may I be of assistance today?” Your tone remained chipper, a smile starting to form. It didn’t seem to be enough to waver the man’s bitterness, for he simply scoffed. Reaching into the pocket of his pants, the man was quick to slam the item down on the counter. You had internally winced at the noise, praying he hadn’t cracked the glass counter since it’d most likely come out of your check- especially since the boss was famous for that trick, taking from your supposed ‘pay balance’ when ‘things happened on your shift’. Thankfully when he drew his hand back, the counter had been saved. Atop it sat a ring. A gorgeous one at that.
“This.” His tone was blunt, the sharp edge still prominent in his voice.
“Ok…” You started yet again, your smile still remaining as you carefully moved your hand to gently pick up the ring.
“What is it you’re looking to do with this today?” Briefly looking up to him, you focused back on the piece of jewelry itself.
“I want you to take it back and give me a refund.” He snapped, his arms crossing. His patience had begun to run thin. As it had been said before, the ring was gorgeous. And as much as you’d have loved to give the man money back on the ring…you couldn’t. Unlike the rest of the jewelry in the shop, this ring was unique. The ring itself had a slimmer bezel. It wasn’t anything fancy. But with the color of gold the bezel was, you were certain that it was top of the line. Yet, what was the most breathtaking part was the stone that was in the center of it all. An apatite. Against the teal of the stone, the gold had stood out but not taken the attention from the gem itself. And that was exactly the problem.
“I see…” Your voice seemed uncertain. There was a small voice in the back of your head saying that this was an opportunity to get a piece of jewelry such as this, that buying it and selling it for more could’ve very well have saved the place from going under for another month or so, but the facts stood before you. After gently placing the ring back on the counter, you returned your attention back to the bitter man.
“I’m afraid sir, we can’t accept this back as is. Unless we have a record of your receipt on file, we can’t take this back.” The man had seemed as if you were threatening to take his first born.
“And why, pray tell, is that?” His snippy tone seemed to only reflect the anger he was trying to keep under wraps.
“Well, for starters, we don’t sell jewelry with Apatite.”
“And why the hell not?! It’s a ring, is it not?” Snapping at you, all you could do was allow a soft sigh to escape you. Oh, how you wished you could’ve chewed this man up and spit him back out, but keeping your cool, you only carried on.
“I understand your frustration, sir. But we cannot accept jewelry back that we did not sell. This bezel is clearly made up of a higher gold concentration than we offer here, as well as the gem itself. Due to how fragile Apatite is, and due to how costly it can get trying to remake certain pieces that shatter and crack during the sculpting process, we do not sell nor buy jewelry including it.”
“That isn’t fair! I bought this ring from you people fair and square!” The man’s persistence might've been admirable, even for a scam, but even so, the only thing it was doing was grating your last nerve.
“If you insist you have, I can at least check our receipt logs…What’s the last name?” Briefly turning your back to the counter, you moved to dive beneath the counters for the crates of alphabetized files.
“It’s Badeaux.” As sharp as ever, he kept glowering at your actions while his own patience began to run thinner than before. After a moment of looking through the B fields, you had resurfaced once more.
“I’m sorry, sir. But we don’t have a file for you on hand. If you’d like, I do have some of the local island’s jewelers on file, so I can ring some of-”
“This is utter bullshit!” He spat at you, slamming his fist down on the counter.
“I understand your frustrations sir, but please-”
“Screw this, it ain’t even worth the money anymore. Just take it and choke on it for all I care!” The loud ‘clank’ that broke the ‘mostly’ serene silence of the shop had been from the ring making contact with the safety glasses you wore. As tacky and bulky as they were, you were grateful for them just then. The man had turned on his heel, letting the door slam on his way out. Once more, you couldn’t help the sigh that had escaped you.
“I swear, this job isn’t worth what I get paid on days.” The thought had escaped you with no filter, though did it really matter? No one else was around.
“Oh, I bet.” The voice of reason mused back. Allowing the comfortable smile to return, you simply decided to take a moment from-
Wait a minute…you didn’t have a voice of reason. Well, you did, just not one that talked back so…well…vividly. Just as the smile dropped, your gaze casually turned to the side. Upon first glance, you found yourself staring back at a pair of partially lidded eyes. It was only then that you realized.
“Ah, sorry sir! How, uhm, may I help you?” After quickly standing up straight and feeling a bit embarrassed over the remark shared aloud, it was only then you had remembered the other three men that had been perusing the different counters in the shop. In response, the man let out a light hearted chuckle. He held his hands up in a mock defense, the gesture seeming to do wonders to pacify the sudden embarrassment and anxious atmosphere.
“Whoa, whoa, cool it, Sparky. We’re not here to cause any problems.” His voice was gentle, soothing almost. The way he spoke seemed to hide no ulterior motive. That was good at least. To be quite frank, it was hard to believe that the group was there for anything other than genuine interest in the shop. Perhaps they were adventurers?
“We just had some questions, that’s all.” As the man spoke, you took note of his attire. Much like the last man, this one also had a purple shirt. Though unlike the first, he had been worn in a more casual manner. The way he kept it unbuttoned exposed the tattoo that embellished his chest and the muscles he had. Around his waist was a blue sash, along with a decorative belt that- somehow- topped the last man’s. From what you could tell, it seemed like he was wearing blue jeans of some kind, though again, from where you stood, you couldn’t quite tell if that was the case or not. Atop his head was a tuft of messy blond hair. To you, it did look a bit comical since no one really had come through with such a hairstyle before, but you must’ve figured the poor guy probably got enough trash talk for it. All in all, he had a much more laid back nature about him, something you couldn’t quite place, but something that seemed to be trustworthy for the time being.
Taking a moment to glance at the other two over his shoulder, You made note of the other two. One was a far burlier looking man, his frame towered the other two easily. A much more tan complexion had adorned him, the shade of red that the armor plates he wore seemed to pop more against him. From where he was, his back had been to you, so very little was able to be made out on his face. However, you could tell from just his stature alone that he was definitely not someone to be messed with. The other seemed a lot more enthused about the different pieces of jewelry within the cases. His back had also been to you, but what little you could make out from him was the messy blond locks he wore in dreads, as well as the cream colored jacket. Though, it did look more yellow than white.
In a way, you felt a little bad for the more excited man out of the two. All there were beneath the glass casings were boxes of different rings bunched together. Maybe before they left, you could at least pull them out of the casing and let him rummage through them? It wasn’t like your boss would care so long as none of them had gone missing. For now, though, they were here for genuine business, so suggesting the idea was off the table for now. Returning your attention to the first shaggier man of the trio, you recomposed yourself from the startle he gave you.
“Very well. What is it you’re looking for help with today?” Asking the question, the man had seemed a little stumped. ‘Please don’t be trying to rob the place…please don’t be trying to rob the place.’ The thought crossed your mind as the man stalled in giving his response.
“Well, it’s a bit…complicated.” He started in. He took note of the way you watched him before taking a step back.
“My bad, didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable.” He reassured, his tone remaining insouciant. Oddly enough, you couldn’t help but take his word. Clearing his throat, he briefly turned to look over his shoulder at the other two.
“I myself am not very savvy with these kinds of things. But Rakuyo over there…” Speaking the last of his words loud enough for the other two to hear, the more eccentric man had quickly turned his head towards the two of you. Motioning the other over, the blond allowed a casual smile to form.
“I’ll let you talk to him, you’ll get a lot further since he’s more adverse in what we’re looking for.” With the blond taking a step back, the man- who you presumed was Rakuyo- stepped forward in his place. A bright smile adorned his features. Despite his energy, the laid back atmosphere of the interaction had remained.
“Hey, Shug.” The man replied. Though the nickname had already had you turning your nose up, something told you that was just something he called most women. At least it didn’t seem like he was trying to hit on you. With a simple ‘hello’ in return, you refocused your attention back to the conversation at hand.
“So, your friend here tells me that you’re more equipped with what it is you three are in for today?” You started in, your tone remaining as friendly as before. Earning a chuckle in response, the man nodded.
“I suppose that’s true to an extent.” Remaining light-hearted in the exchanged banter, the man continued.
“We were actually in to see if there would be any way you could resize or replicate a ring to request.” He started in. It took a moment for you to actually regroup yourself. It was a bit shocking, actually. For the first time in months, someone was GENUINELY INTERESTED in requesting service. Quickly gathering your wits, you had finally nodded.
“O-of course we do! Though we cannot offer a free resizing service with rings not sold here, we still can, depending on the condition of the ring itself. Pricing would mostly rely on the gemstones preferred for the ring.” The man had listened to your explanation, his features seeming to light up.
“Really? Well then, that answered quite a bit.” He mused, his words sounding as though they were mostly directed towards himself. When he refocused on you once more, his smile seemed to grow.
“I suppose that leaves us with a couple other questions, Hun.” For once, you could feel the corner of your lips tug upwards in a more genuine smile the more the conversation progressed. The three men had, for once, not been thugs- which was surprising given the same symbol they all adorned on different parts of themselves. You could’ve sworn you had seen it somewhere before, but remembering where had eluded you. The conversation had gone from asking about the gemstones local to the island to the rarity and cost of others that were hard to get. At the end of the day, their request hadn’t seemed that complex. It was nothing more than a simple thicker bezel for a man with a single holder for garnet embedded into the ring itself. At the end of the day, it wasn’t something that would cost any of the three of them a fortune, outside of the third man who had remained in the back, neither of the two you spoke to seemed like they would’ve had a larger ring size. If you dared say, you didn’t think making it would’ve broken the bank for the third man either.
“Right then, I’ll be sure to put the order down and get the supplies ordered for you then.” You chimed. Rummaging through the boxes behind the counter, you pulled out a small notepad. On each page seemed to be an order ticket of sorts. As you began to work away at writing down all of the order information, you carried on with the conversation.
“I think I have just about everything here I need. I’m only missing the ring size.” The question had only earned an awkward silence from the three. Rakuyo was the first to pipe up after being unable to take the silence.
“Well, if you don’t mind me asking. What…sizes do you go up to?” Briefly stopping your scribbling, your gaze had turned up to look at him. When he had seemed a bit nervous in the manner, you turned to the other two. The first had seemed just as nervous, even the bigger gut out of the three seemed to have some pause in his stoic demeanor. Oh, they were serious. Standing up right once more, you started with another explanation.
“Well, at the moment we can only make up to a size 15. However, we can make additional sizes to accommodate different groups, such as giants and other larger groups. Most requests like this are done upon request, but the problem with them is that they may take a bit more time outside of the usual week. Would you happen to know the ring size off the top of your head?” Looking between the three men, each of them had seemed baffled for an answer. Taking that as a ‘no’, you ducked back under the desk to rummage around for a simple stack of papers.
“That’s alright if you’re unsure. We do have different sizing for each kind of person.” You started in. Pointing to the first set of sizes, you kept your focus on the page.
“These ones are mostly for humans. Don’t mind any of these numbers, it’s just for us back here to know what the bezel width would be. Over in this column,” Your finger circles the furthest set of numbers to the right, “is what you’d need to know. Down here are for Fishmen. Again, You don’t have to worry about any of these, this just tells us where we’d need to cut the bezel in order to assure it causes its owner any discomfort against the webbing in their hands./ Most mermaids and mermen do fall within human measurements, but there are a few that do have occasional sizing outs-”
“I don’t mean to be rude and cut you short, but why do the numbers have such a significant jump between these two groups?” The first man had piped up, pointing to a spot in which the whole section had been scribbled out.
“Ah, that.” You simply stated.
“Well, that was the sizing for buccaneers, but unfortunately, they haven’t been around in years. Most of the tools that we have for them aren’t kept on location. We still have them, of course, for the few odd folk that do have sizes that fall in that range, but that…would…” When your gaze had turned to look up at the three, each of them had seemed as though they had just witnessed a miracle. Raising a brow a bit, you kept your gaze flickering between the three of them.
“Is something the matter?” After you spoke, the peppier man had placed his hands on the counter, leaning over a bit.
“Do you realize what you’ve just done?!” He spoke. Taking a few steps back, you watched the man’s shock quickly contort into a wide grin.
“M…my job?” You spoke, uncertainty prominent in your tone.
“Well, yes, but no.” He finished, allowing him to place his feet back on the ground.
“Ma’am, you don’t realize just how long we’ve been looking for someone that has the equipment to make a ring for a buccaneer.” For the first time, the third man finally spoke. Your mouth had opened to speak, but you found the words stalling in your throat.
“...I beg your pardon?” The words had left unfiltered. Baffled by their wording, you figured that maybe they were simply just stating that whoever the ring was for was just unlucky enough to have sizing that fell within the buccaneer range. Yet, something told you that wasn’t the case.
Surely, it was just a misfortune, right? I mean…buccaneers had been extinct at this point…hadn’t they?
Note: Please excuse the fact that this is a copy and paste version of my Cara's post. It's late, I'm tired, and I still have a bunch left to do tonight, so I'm just trying to save on time, lol. Another note before I get to the actual post: have any of you read Oda's 'Wanted' book? It's full of a bunch of stories he wrote before One Piece, and Oh. My. Goodness. I am IN LOVE with all of the stories in it, they're all different than one another, and they actually show where his character inspiration came from for a lot of the OP characters (Like Shanks, Zoro, and I want to say Kaya for one of the stories.) But yeah, I highly recommend reading it at some point if you guys get the chance to! _______
Ahhh, guess who's back to her usual gremlin antics? :D
Yup! This chick right here! As you can tell- and as I promised- I have been doing well to stick to my new schedule, and I've got to say: IT'S BEEN WORKING SO WELL-
I won't be long since I still have so many more of my platforms that I have to post to, but I just wanted to come here and share more of my art again!
This was one of the first few attempts that I made at making an OP Screencap. I don't like how this specifically turned out, so I definitely will be planning on reding this again in the near future!
Ahhh, look at me! I finally decided to pull the trigger and actually post a fanfic for once!! Just a bit of background for this story: This is a Whitebeard pirates x reader story. UNLESS ASKED OTHERWISE, most things in here will remain platonic/friendly (and a bit fluffy). I also do plan to write chapters giving each Commander their own time to shine with the reader. (I know everyone's here for Marco, Izo, Thatch, and Ace, but come one! Rakuyo, Atmos, Namur, Speed Jill, Vista, and literally the rest of the sixteen commanders exist as well. Why only write for a fourth of them when they all deserve a chance?! (Yes, I'm THAT big of a dork to be able to name all of them. I know I didn't include a lot of the others on here, but trust me. I can XD) Anyways, this is considered chapter 0. Since this is only the prologue and the introduction to what exactly the reader's life is like, this isn't the official first chapter of interaction. (That's actually Chapter 1!) I'll also be sure to add a few additional triggers with the chapters as the story progresses, but something to keep in mind with the story as a whole: THERE ARE UNDERLYING THEMES OF DEPRESSION. It's subtle in some spots, but laid on thick in others depending on the story progression. Ok, I'll leave now. Enjoy! _______________________ Word count: 1375 _______________________
Life is a fickle thing, is it not? All at the same time, the day could fly by for one person while it dragged on for another. A couple could be experiencing the happiest moments of their lives, another their last. I guess in that regard, it was better to say that time was a fickle manner, but life itself had a funny way of ruling over those decisions. And unfortunately for you, time nor life has ever worked out in your favor. Not in a long while.
Every morning, it was the same rinse-and-repeat cycle that had once been something you believed would lead to happiness. It had been that way for ten years now. Get up, make the long trip to the island’s high end part of town- which was on the opposite side of where you lived- open the jewelry shop for the day, work your shift and cover for the boss, close up at the end of the night, go home, find whatever was the easiest and low maintenance in the way of cooking, go to bed, and wake up the next day to do it all over again. Of course, the last few years hadn’t always been so…lacking. No no no, the ‘oh-so’ happy residents of the town had made sure of that. On days where you had travelers visit the shop, there was always small talk sharing in their adventures or their life that had led them to that very moment, and in even rarer occasions, there was always a bone thrown your way and they’d be generous enough to give you a tip for your work.
Of course, that was one nice customer to every 50 or so? And that was taking what kindness you were given far and few in between and paying it up to flatter the residents of the island. And that was saying a lot since all they gave you was their usual snappy remarks or some new form of taking their anger out on you. A lot of the customers had gotten angry so often that your boss- in the one or two times he even bothered to roll out of bed- had told you that safety glasses were now a must while working ALL the time rather than when you did the work the old lapidarist had slacked on before leaving. And to think that this is what fate initially had you set out to sea for. Life outside of the mundane island was, well, avoiding the island itself. No pirates ever stopped there, and Marines were the same way. Everyone avoided the island like the black plague.
The only reason you had ever dared to come to the island yourself was both for the lack of its history and people, and the fact that a job opportunity had fallen into your lap. At the time, it seemed like a dream come true, yet now it felt more like it was a personalized nightmare to make you hate even the smallest joys of life. Yet here you were, still playing the sucker who kept on dreaming that it would get better. And to an extent…you still hoped that it would, that one day everything would work out.
See, life was a fickle thing. The whole reason you had ever been brought to the island in the first place was your line of research. A gemologist, that, of all things, was what you had settled on in life. Not that it was a bad thing! Because it really wasn’t. It was just…odd. In comparison to a world that piracy had existed in, it was just odd that you’d settled on studying jewels, stones, and gems rather than hoarding them. But, it kept your nose out of everyone’s business and the eyes of the government, so you were happy enough with it. And to you, upon your initial arrival to the island, believed that the smiles everyone wore had been a show of the happiness that threatened to overwhelm its visitors. Yet it took all of but a few hours to find just how wrong that was. Threatening to rip someone’s throat out and shove it up where the son doesn’t shine just for bumping into them wasn’t exactly the most friendly thing in the world. And saying it with a smile as well, it was enough to get to anyone.
If the bitter nature of the people was bad enough, they were all lazy as well. Going to the grocery store just for a night’s worth of groceries took longer than the walk home, even when you were the only person in the store. Trying to see a doctor meant that you’d be waiting a few months out to even get any sort of chance to SCHEDULE the appointment. It was a miracle how no one had ever died on the island. And your boss was no better. The man had only ever been at the shop two days out of the ten years you had worked there: the day you were hired, and another day where you had to go home early after getting a ring thrown at you and the bezel had sliced a little too close to your eye. It hadn’t hit the inside of your eye, nor had it scarred- from what you could tell, anyways. You were lucky to even still have it functioning at this point.
It was only a couple of years after you had started that the old lapidarist had suddenly just stopped showing up to work. Truthfully, you didn’t blame them, despite the dread that filled you anytime you dared to question their disappearance. The only reason you stayed was because of the free rent and the time you got to do what you loved…ok, it wasn’t free rent, but no one had come to collect the payments from you, so it was free housing. At least the laziness of the life there had been good for something. But…was it worth it? That was the question you had always come back to every chance you had been alone during the day. What good was your work if the people were never happy? What good was it when the jeweler felt as though it were going to financially collapse?
The old displays had been sold by the boss for a quick buck to find a way to meet ends in order to make the shop’s monthly bills, so none of the work you made ever got proper recognition. Your paychecks had gotten farther and fewer in between until you almost had nothing left. You weren’t sure if it was just a case that the boss was taking what he owed you to pay for the shop or if he was simply not bothering to even pay you anymore. The people were never happy, your house was always in shambles, but you never had the money to ever fix it. To say the least, you hated it. You hated everything about the island, about your home, about your job. Yes, job. It had gotten bad enough to a point that you’d have rather numbed your mind for hours on end sitting behind a desk to write- much like the person that took heavens only knows how long to write this- rather than continue your personal studies for the career you once wanted.
Sometimes, the idea crossed your mind that maybe settling down wasn’t for you? I mean, you had been happier when you were travelling from place to place to understand the type of jewelry that was popular on each island, why, and how valuable it was. Truth be known, when you looked at the point your life was at, a deeper part of you ached. It felt like something had curled up on itself every time you noted that you did what most people had spent a lifetime doing. You managed to settle down earlier on in life before you got too old and it got to be too late. But what did it matter what you thought? For as long as you stayed on the island, you were at the mercy of the people and whatever they decided to throw at-
‘Snap. Snap. Snap.’
My last thought for tonight (and maybe until the end of the weekend when I start posting my new fanfic for here only-):
Have you ever stopped to think about how the people on the grand line fish? Like, legitimately. Obviously they have to fish in order to survive (and whatever they believe help the people that have allergies to seafood-) but it's funny to stop and think about.
Obviously they can't fly fish since everything is a part of the ocean (unless they're at a lake or pond while visiting an island). And they can't really use worms or power bait/etc., so they'd have to either use massive lures or raw meat.
And with a lot of the aquatic animals there are, you can't really use small fish as bait (for the du-gongs (hopefully I spelt this right from memory) and other animals in that category on the grand line). Even at that, sea kings probably wouldn't bite. So you'd have to use some kind of raw meat and try and fish. It's also funny to think about as well that you'd have to have both an abundance of fishing line to reach the depth that seakings and other fish would be at, as well as use as cannon ball as a weight in order to get down that far.
I guess it's not really THAT interesting unless you're into fishing, lol. (I'm not personally, but my dad is and used to teach me a lot about fishing, lol)
Here's your daily set of head canons for Whitebeard's crew! :3 (Especially since either have been in need of something comfort/fluffy wise to cope with irl stuff ;v;)
~•^°^•~•^°^•~•^°^•~•^°^•~
-Rakuyo is an Uta fan. In a perfect world where none of the crew dies/disbands, he actually saves his money up to take himself and all of the commanders (or his entire division if the others get fed up hearing him rant about her music) to one of her concerts.
-In continuation of the concert hc, Rakuyo also developed his liking in flashy outfits/jewelry from competing against other super fans (*coughs* bepo *coughs*) in the way of attire. He just happened to find out during one of the concerts that it also distracts Marco as well.
-Kingdew, Atmos, Blenheim, and Fossa all have gambling nights every third Saturday where they play for actual money. They usually don't let anyone else usually join them after Blamenco secretly kept sneaking coins and was putting them in his pockets and Haruta ran out of money and substituted his bets with I.O.U notes.
-Speaking of Haruta, he's TERRIBLE with money. And not by a little, lol. After the poker incident, and after three years of him getting the allotted amount of money for him and his division to share 'stolen' or 'lost', eventually his division did rat him out for making terrible purchases. (It was all for mostly gag items or clothes that none of them really needed-)
-Namur actually has a similar incident that Brook and his crew had with Laboon. After saving a seal from being hunted by humans, every so often a small group will occasionally spend a few days swimming next to the Moby. No one knows about this or why it happens since this was something that went on before he joined them. (And Stefan usually does get VERY jealous when this happens since most of the crew is paying attention to them instead of him, lol.)
-Marco has an odd taste in women. Unlike Thatch who's more predictable in the body type he prefers, Marco has specific qualities/ personalities that he likes. He can pick up on whether someone is being genuine or not, and most of the time will turn women away when he knows what they're after. It's only far and few in between the type of women he turns away that he'll actually give them a chance. ( A bit more depth: he prefers women who are more 'bratty' or bashful/timid. Although he see pride as something important in everyday work, he doesn't see it as important in relationships...if that makes sense-)
-Following that up, Thatch and Ace have similar tastes in women as one another. Both of them like women who play hard-to-get, or women who are openly kind whether they're shy or bold. However, their taste in body types are different. Ace prefers women who are more muscular, or are taller. Why? He feels like they'll at least be safe without him around. Thatch, however, does prefer curvier/chubbier women. Why? Because he's a HUGE cuddler, and he loves having something to hold. (Atmos, Curiel, and Rakuyo also have the same taste in body types as Thatch.)
-The nurses on the ship were specifically picked based on each crew member's type in women so none of the crew members would be tempted to try and hit on them. Even more so, at least three of them are actual biological siblings to a few of the men on board.
-Speed Jill, Rakuyo, Izo, and Namur do try to request off days with the nurses. Why? They enjoy they relax days they have, and so long as they're with them, they won't get teased about wanting to relax/ have a spa day.
-A third of the crew showers daily, the rest of them are either every other day/ every two to three days, or once a week/ once every other week. Among the few who shower daily are Thatch (because garlic, onions, and other unsavory spices aren't exactly something ladies flock to. Plus, he uses an abundance of hair gel in his pompadour, he has to in order to reduce damaging his hair), Haruta- surprisingly-, and Jozu. Most of the other commanders are every couple of days or every other day, Curiel and Ace are the only ones who have to be FORCED to bathe. (Yes, even Blamenco is more hygienic then Ace. You kind of have to be with Mary Poppins tote bag as your DF, lol.)
-Izo is the financial advisor of the ship, and usually is the first to put his foot down if anyone tries to shelter stray animals. Stefan was the only exception since Whitebeard was the one that brought him on board. Everyone else has to turn the animals they find loose on the islands they stop at. Since he manages the money (Thanks to Haruta-) he makes sure there's just enough to get them supplies. The rest of the money goes towards a bail fund if some group or pirates tries to kidnap one of them for ransom (this has actually happened to Blenheim and Fossa before. And surprisingly it wasn't their fault. They were actually kidnapped directly from the ship.)

Alright. That's all I have for now. Again, apologies about the one shot never being released. I'll still be working on it, but for now take these as a peace treaty instead! (Hopefully they cheer you up if you're having an off day!)
I just wanted to share some doodles that I've had since I don't really have much in the way of art here. (And yes, I know I said that I'd take a break until the end of the year, BUT IT'S TOO HARD NOT TO DO ANYTHING DX)
Anyways, these are just a few doodles that I have in my sketchbook. I'll kind of explain the idea behind them as i put them into the post here :3
A Thatch and Bernice Doodle I plan to digitalize. (In their canon info, Bernice and Thatch do end up head over heels for one another, but neither of them admit it. So when either of the two change something about themselves, the other is obsessed with it. Like here :D)
This is a meme template I'm making...this also wasn't an excuse to draw Ivankov- (THEY'RE FUN TO DRAW, I CAN'T HELP IT!! XD)
I plan to redraw Stefan here, but this is Bernice and him more or less trying to get Thatch to give them chocolate (for obvious reasons, Stefan can't have it, but Bernice is actually allergic to it :3)
Some Heat and Lee doodles because they're my otp at this point (Aka, my favorite and first oc pairing, lol)
Dunno how I came across this, but I always do this for shading practice. It's actually really fun, and it looks cool in person. Cameras don't do justice :'(
So apparently this was a flop over on Cara (aka, I think that I jsut posted at a time that no one was on, so they didn't really notice the post, lol) so I'm posting it here because I really want you peeps to know how much love I actually put into making my ocs!
So, I've said on all of my platforms, all of my ocs do have disorders or medical issues in one way or another. And with each of these disorders, I actually do a thorough amount of research before I officially post the information. (And yes, Lee's info is actually out. I posted it up on my Wattpad. Just as an fyi, you will be a minute reading all of it. There's a lot, lol) So, I'm just going to jump right into things. Up first on the roster is their blood types. I know, I sound crazy, but surprisingly, there is some research that goes into the blood types I assign my ocs. It depends on if they have a blood disorder (such as Pandora and Tonta with their heart problems) or their personality traits. Yes, you heard- well, read- correctly. Their personality traits actually play a HUGE part into their blood types. There are studies out there that a few groups have done that proves certain blood types have generalized similarities in personality traits. In Lee's information, I have her listed as A- for her blood type because people with that blood type actually are very introverted people. They're independent to an extent and are very reserved. To those of you that have read up on her (or have followed her development since day one of me creating her-) you can't say that DOESN'T describe her.
I also do research into the names as well. Lee's full name is Lee Ganji, which when translated separately, her first name translate to 'meadow' while her last name translates to 'two beginnings'. This plays a huge part in her info since her own crew's name she was originally the captain of was the 'Meadow Pirates', and after she lost them she got recruited to Kidd's crew- hence the reasoning for her lasty name.
In the way of medical problems, Lee has VCD (Vocal Cord Dysfunction). This is actually something I have, and it is pretty common. Basically, it's a condition that mimics asthma but directly causes the vocal cords to flutter and cause breathing issues. No, it's not a birth defect/ something you're born with, and yes it is treatable through simple speech therapy (or other medical protocol/ therapy). A lot of the time, this can happen from basic things like coughing, your drink 'going down the wrong way', and multiple other reasons.
However in Lee's case, because she doesn't talk very much, VCD is something she's pretty much stuck with. Now for her information, I did make it a bit more dramatic and have it play into a lot of the reason she doesn't talk. Is it that intense in reality? No, not really. (Like I said, I have it, and I still run around like an unhinged maniac on days since sitting still isn't an option, lol. All it does is effect your breathing mostly.) (I've also recently found out that vcd does occur more commonly in women than men, and even more so with women that has phycological problems. Unfortunately, this is also accurate to Lee's info since she does suffer with survivor's guilt.)
As for Pandora and her son, Tonta, their medical condition is quite…unique. And yes, this is also an actual thing. So, getting into their info, Pandora and Tonta were both born with their hearts on the right side of their chest instead of the left. This is a lot of the reason as to why Pandora has multiple scars on the left side of her where her heart 'should' be.
In reality, less than 1% of people in the world actually have this, and unfortunately, this does come with quite a few health risks. (How wouldn't it? Your body basically decided to play Yahtzee with your insides and mixed everything up. Of course there's going to be major repercussions with it.) The official name for this is 'dextrocardia'. And one of the main side effects that go along with this is 'Pallor'. To sum this up, this is a condition where the skin appears paler than normal. This actually has a lot to do with Pandora's appearance. While Tonta doesn't have it, Pandora does because 1. There are a few female problems that do tie into Pallor, and 2. She is the main and first family member to have dextrocardia. Hence the reason it's a lot stronger with her than Tonta. Now, does that mean it's hereditary? No. Somehow Tonta ended up with the same problem by luck, not genetics. So, in other words, Tonta and Pandora have their hearts on the right side of them by pure coincidence, not by hereditary development. (Their family's curse, however? Now that's a different story entirely-)
As of currently, I am in the works of fleshing out Bernice's info since she's my favorite little gremlin bean. (But to be fair, I have too many videos I plan to make of memes for her and Thatch just sharing a brain cell, so as of currently I don't really have any medical conditions really thought out. I mean she does eventually take phycological at some point n her info (and it double dips in the canon timeline to One Piece with what happens to Thatch :( ) But I think that she'll actually be a perfectly healthy oc for once with no problems! :D
Ack, I'm glad that I finally got to share that in its entirety! >v<
Also! Since I am still holding out until the first of this year to grind out art, here are the pictures of each of my ocs in case you don't know who I'm babbling on about!
This is a WIP, but this is Lee (She is normally shipped with Heat on Kidd's crew.)
This is Bernice, She's a revolutionary, but eventually becomes an ally to Whitebeard's crew since she doesn't want to become a nurse or cook on the crew and wants to keep her ability to fight (She ate a devil fruit. of course she's gonna want to fight >:3)
The mean looking lady is Pandora, and the boy is her son. She's a Marine Admiral. She's neutral and humane with criminals. But if you even threaten to touch her son, civilian or criminal, Just know you'll be losing more of your arm than Shanks did to a sea king. (The woman's known for her strength with just her bare hands and has, in fact, ripped a man's arm clean off up to the shoulder joint after testing her :D)
So, I actually have two separate projects that I'd like to do collabs for. Firstly, I'd like to make a crew with all ocs! I have the details posted on Instagram (or at least did) so if you're interested in this, don't be afraid to comment! As of currently, no one has actually joined the collab, so there is definitely room left to join. The only rules I can remember off the top of my head is 1. You unfortunately cannot use a current/ existing oc. Since this is an all oc crew, everyone that joins the collab will be working on their ocs and their lore/ how they mingle and come to know one another. (In other words, it wouldn't be fair to your current existing ocs to actually have to change their lore to fit the crew's, if that makes sense-) and 2. There can only be on oc per person. Going further into depth on this, a lot of the oc lore that'll be exchanged will actually be done via discord. I'll actually create a server for everyone that joins to go discuss details and such, and then the info can be shared publicly from there. I still don't know if this collab would remain restricted to just art, or if it could also swing in the direction of writing as well. Either way, this is one of the two projects! __________ The second project that I'd like to do an open collab for is a Zine. And currently, I am on the fence about who I'd like to make the Zine over. I'm Stuck between Thatch, Rosinante, Heat, or Fukaboshi. Why these four specifically? I personally like these characters, and the amount of content there is on them is absolutely DISGUSTING. There definitely should be more!! I am going to for sure do a Zine, but I want to know who would like to have a hand in it, and for which character (Because if I can actually find enough fans for each character, then I can actually make a zine for all of them, lol.)
When I tell you guys that I haven't even finished a quarter of this project and it has made me cry so many times already- I actually started this a couple of weeks after Cavetown actually released this cover of Mine All Mine. I could've done it with the original, but I honestly love Cavetown a lot, and love this version of the song so much! Anyways, this is actually a small part of the WIP that I wanted to share with you guys before it spoiled anything else of the project. I feel like where I trimmed this to actually post the sneak peek doesn't give away much...hopefully it doesn't, since this is actually a new avenue I'm venturing down to introduce my ocs and their information/stories. But, yeah, no, this whole project has become an absolute emotional roller coaster. I'm in love with the art I'm making for a lot of the slides, but I feel like I'm purposefully hurting myself by making something THIS sad, lol.
Actually staying true to the spam uploads, here is this 'wonderful' piece that I made earlier than the Sabo piece. I said this on my other platforms, but this was one I did as an experiment for both a sticker design, as well as coloring the line art. Needless to say, I absolutely hate this abomination of a piece. (But, I think that's just what comes with the gig of being an artist. You experiment, and 99% of them you hate before finding one you actually like, lol)
Finally, the last part to the group!
We’ve got our favorite worry wart- and bartender- Tree. Ironically enough, I gave Tree his name for a few reasons. Number one: a lot of the medical field in One piece is usually seen using different plants and such to make medicine, the same goes for a lot of different drinks. And two, because of how trees in a forest actually take care of one another. A lot of the bigger trees will use their root systems to bring nutrients down to saplings in order to help them grow. A lot like Tree and how he consoles a lot of the crew. As it’s said, Tree was a bartender before becoming a medic for the crew, so a lot of the knowledge he learned in his time of serving people is things he passes down to the rest of the crew. When Tree joined the crew, he already had a missing arm. He actually had lost it after a bar fight between two pirate crews had broken out and he wasn’t able to stop them from getting too rowdy. It’s also what started him down the path of becoming a medic. Since his boss was very strict and refused to let his employees leave for any reason, he had to figure out how to patch up the place where his arm was cut off just so he could finish out his shift. And yes, he immediately quit as soon as his shift was done. Unfortunately, Tree was right handed, and because he lost his right hand, he had to learn how to do everything all over again with his left hand. He still struggles a lot with simple tasks like writing or sometimes even fixing his hair, but when it comes to medicinal needs and drinks, he still shines regardless of the missing arm. A lot of the time, the poor guy has to deal with hearing hand jokes from the crew which has led him to question his decision to join once or twice. But in the end, he never regretted it. At the time of him joining, Tree was 36.
Ok, This is- again, hopefully- part six. There is only one more part after this, and then I'm done, I swear! I know that I haven’t really made mention of him in everyone else's info so far, but up next is Dolion. Dolion is actually a very peculiar member of the crew. Being the swordsman, he actually is the only member of the crew with a higher position that physically went searching Lee’s crew out. I’ve also slacked on mentioning this, but a lot of the names on Lee’s crew have meanings. (I think the biggest thing people tend to overlook with Lee’s crew info is the fact that the crew’s name is the actual translation of Lee’s name. In other words, Lee’s name translates to ‘meadow’, hence the name ‘the Meadow Pirates’.) For Dolion, his name is a Greek translation of ‘liar’ or ‘to lie’. Because of his outfit, Dolion gave the crew a scare the first time they met. Because they met during a more foggy season, Kimchi, Lee, Ahiru, and Shiro all thought that he was the Grim Reaper. The poor things were scared straight for a good hour. His reasoning for why he demanded to join is complicated, actually. Wonton and Noko were both suspicious of him at first and believed that he had very similar goals of the World Government. They believed that he only wanted to travel with Lee until he could get intel about the One Piece and then he’d be splitting. However, he told them that his reasoning for joining was simply because he saw potential with the crew and wanted to give them proper backup since they were lacking any real muscle. His real reasoning was for two things. Firstly, he saw a lot of his younger self in Lee. Someone that was so quiet and wanted to do good for the world, yet was so quick to be stepped on. And secondly, because she reminded him a lot of his older sister as well in the way she could influence people to completely diffuse their quarrels. Because of things in his own life that led to him losing his sister, he saw joining Lee’s crew as a way to repay his sister’s kindness back. At the time of joining her crew, Dolian was 52.
Part five of the crew...hopefully- It seems only fitting to talk about Noko next. Noko is the first mate of the Meadow Pirates and- at one point- was head over heels for Lee. While Lee never picked up on it, her brother had. Normally, though, when her brother would catch men trying to hit on his sister, he’d actually run them off. But because Noko’s intentions have been nothing but kind towards her and her brother, and because he had been in her brother’s crew for a couple of years, he trusted Noko enough to actually try and get closer to Lee if she’d allow him to. This was actually a lot of the reason as to why he had gone with Lee when she had set out on her own in the first place. Of course, he never really got the chance to confess any of his feelings to her, but he never seemed all too bothered by it. While being a part of the crew- or Lee’s parents’ fleet- Noko never specified their age. Tree (the crew’s medic) actually deducted his age to be right around Lee’s age. Somewhere between 24 and 26. A fun fact about Noko: his outfits are adaptable to any kind of weather. While he does have an abundance of brightly colored clothing, all of his vests and pants have zippers at the ends of them. Yes, this man has zip-on sleeves and pants. In his own words, ‘the weather in the Grand Line is unpredictable, you have to be ready for a wardrobe change at the drop of a dime if you want to stay healthy.’ He is actually the biggest sweetheart on the crew as well. When there’s uncharted islands they end up at, or ones that seem very unfriendly to pirates, he usually will be the first to volunteer to scout the island for the safety of the others. (And I do have to say this: he liked Lee. He was never over the moon for her Like Sanji’s schtick with women and when he’d first see them. (So no nose bleed or embarrassing himself, lol.) However, he was a lot kinder to her like Sanji is to women and usually would hold doors for her/ keep her safe during battles.
...I lost count of how many parts this is already XD I think it's Part four? Key word there: THINK. I don't actually remember, lol! Anyways, while we're on the subject of hot heads, let me really quickly cover the crew's weaponry managers, Ahiru and Shiro. The two are twins, and just as you'd expect from them, they are always at one another's throats. Fun fact about their outfits: the both of them dress in accordance to what the other absolutely HATES, lol. (So, the unbuttoned shirt (he purposely leaves unbuttoned), short mess hair, and jewelry that Ahiru wears are things Shiro hates, and the messy/more girly hair styles/ letting his hair grow out, sleeveless turtleneck, and the bags of money Shiro wears on his waist are things Ahiru hates.) These two were actually 22 at the time of joining her crew...ok, they actually didn't join her crew. These two, along with Noko, were actually members of her brother's crew. But after she decided to set out on her own, her brother traded them three for three members on her existing crew. And let me tell you, when I say these two threw the BIGGEST fit because they were going to have a girl as their captain. Rest assured, though, they had good relations with her, so they unwillingly went along with her just to...you know...make sure she wouldn't get hurt...yeah, that was it. Another fun fact: these two were actually going to be giants on the crew, but I decided to just go with the idea of making them normal sized.
Part three of the concept designs :3 Up next on the roster is the crew's favorite giant man, Woton. (Though, on days he can quickly be considered a gentle giant...even if he won't admit it, lol.) Woton is actually an ex-marine, but is the crew's shipwright. At the time that he was originally taken into consideration but the crew to join them, he was actually trying to hunt them down. When Lee originally parted from her brother's crew, he tried to hunt them down in order to kill them. However, the reason he couldn't pull himself to was due to the fact that they decided to help him, nor did they ever try to fight his own men while trying to get away. The second time that they had an encounter was at the next island that they had docked at. Somehow, Woton's crew got mutilated by another pirate fleet, and most of the surviving men had sustained severe injuries. Lee's crew tried helping the best they could- and had even gone as far as to convincing the island's doctors to teach them what to do to help. During that time, Woton decided to interrogate Lee about any potential knowledge she had of the One Piece or affiliations with Gol Roger himself, yet after coming up short handed from what the World Government told him, he quickly came to the conclusion that she was innocent of their claims. In return for helping him and his men, he offered to repair the damage that they had done to her ship, resigned his position in the Marines, and ended up joining Lee's crew. Now, while this man does have a short temper on days, he can be just as patient. his favorite pass times include looking after Kimchi (and willow while she was a part of the crew)- though, it seems more like he was involuntarily assigned that job- managing the crew's finances, and collecting rare coins and gems...what, a man can have his hobbies, can't he? At the time of joining, Woton was 28. He is also the only member of the crew to have devil fruit powers.
Here's part two for the concept designs! Up next we have Kimchi! (Or seagull boy as most of the crew nicknamed him.) You would think with a group of adults, at least one of them would be the navigator? But actually, no. This little rascal is the crew's navigator. While most people have to use a log pose, surprisingly Kimchi has a strong intuition and can usually lead the crew where they need to be without using a compass or map. None of the crew ever could figure out how he was able to navigate the sea, but according to his own account, he had been on the sea for three years alone before they found him. And speaking of finding, that's actually a funny story. At the time that they found him, Kimchi was on a makeshift raft in the middle of the ocean. The only reason they had ever taken him aboard was due to the fact that he was trying to catch a seagull to eat- hence the nickname 'seagull boy'. At the time that they found him, Kimchi was 11. This boy is an absolute riot to be around. He takes his role as a pirate 'very' seriously and will refuse to spill the beans about anything...unless, you know, you bribe him with a snickerdoodle or cinnamon roll. (or any cinnamon sweets for that matter-) Most of the time, just to mess with Woton or Ahiru and Shiro, Kimchi will usually take their belongings and hide them under his 'wizard hat' just to cause trouble at times...yes, the giant safety cone he has on is a wizard hat to him, do not try to reason with the boy, lol. The two little plush he has in the front pocket of his outfit are gifts from both Lee and Willow. While he may not say it, they do mean the world to him. (But he can't let people go thinking he enjoys something from two icky girls, now can he?)
Ok, soooo, I'm gonna have to break this down into a multitude of parts, lol, so please bear with me here. Basically, the next few parts that I am going to slightly be spam posting out are all concept designs of members of Lee's old crew, the Meadow pirates. However, because the descriptions of each member is too long, I have to break their info up into individual posts. (I tried making a master post on them, I'm sorry in advanced ;-;) Sooo, getting right into things, we'll start with Willow (or Kadie as her concept image lists). So, Willow was never really an official member of the Meadow Pirates (the name of Lee's original crew). A lot of the reason for this was because Lee would not accept her as a member of the crew. (Aka, she really wanted to, but Noko had told her it was for the best to find someone on another island to take care of Willow instead in order to assure her safety.) While she did sail with them for a few months prior to what happened to them, she eventually was left with an elderly woman who was glad to have a kid to treat as her own grandchild. A lot of the reason Willow was on her own was due to relations her home island people had with Marines. For some reason, the Marines were very crooked and usually taxed the residents of the island amounts of money. And if they couldn't pay, they were usually the first to be pushed out to protect the marines from pirates instead of the other way around. Willows parents actually tried to start a rebellion to try and run the Marines off, but unfortunately both were killed in the process. And due to Willow being their daughter, most of the island people were afraid to take her in/ couldn't afford it, leaving her neglected by both the Marines and civilians. Lee's crew decided that they would take her to at least give her a temporary home until they could find her a proper place to live. At the time of being apart of Lee's crew, Willow was eight.
As you can tell, this is the first pager to my one of my OP ocs, lol. Fun fact about this little gem: I've been sitting on Page one for a couple of months now, and as you'll tell by the next page, uhhh....my art actually hit an upgrade at some point? Dunno when, but my proportions are slowly getting there, lol. (Imagine having your character introduced to their own storyline by being taken down by sea stone, lol.) Anyways, here's the translation of the comic for those of you that aren't able to read my handwriting/ it doesn't show up well: 1. "I swear, if Ace broke in again last night, I'm gonna..." 2. "Aha! I knew he was the one taking my cookies!" 3. "Well I'll be, it really isn't Ace...guess I'll have to give him an apology tomorrow." 4. "But then, if it's not him..." 5. "Then who is this?"
I love them and I wish they had their own moment together! also, Hello One Piece fandom !! I'm looking for op friends I can talk to :DD
𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞. — monkey d. luffy x afab!reader. (+18)
warnings: slightly jealous luffy, unprotected sex, fingering, oral sex (cunnulingus), some slaps, drunk sex, breeding kink.
summary: luffy isn't jealous — except when it comes to you. after dancing with someone else, he decides to remind you exactly who you belong to.
a/n: this is my first work here, i hope you like it and sorry for any mistake. if i forgot something in the "warnings" that you think is necessary, please let me know.
luffy wasn't the possessive type — in fact, he was the opposite in almost every way — except when it came to you.
it was a two-way street, so to speak: he loved telling everyone you were part of his crew, proudly showing you off as his loyal companion and girlfriend. that was all well and good — until someone acted in a way he found even remotely suspicious.
a long look from some guy while you walked down the street? a whistle? a casual touch from some poor soul at a bar who thought he had a shot? that was more than enough for him.
on some occasions, just luffy's piercing gaze was enough to put them in their place — but many times, not even that worked — he’d gladly jump into a fight the kind your crew would have to break up.
sometimes you loved the thrill of the danger; other times, not so much. it all depended on how sore you’d wake up the next morning.
on this day, the crew was celebrating happily on your ship after a victory. it was a beautiful afternoon, with the sun painting streaks across the sky in shades of pink and orange. the drinks were sweet, and the food was plentiful. everyone was dancing, all smiles and joy — or at least, that’s what was expected.
you were drunk, but not overly so — just enough to enjoy yourself — and dancing with sanji. despite his usual behavior with other women, he was always respectful towards you. his hands stayed in safe zones, and he twirled you just enough to keep up with the rhythm of the dance. you were having a great time, despite feeling certain eagle eyes boring into you from across the boat and over the firepit.
when the music ended, you sat down next to nami, who gave you a cheeky, drunken smile.
"you’re impossible, aren’t you?" she said to you.
"what did i do this time?" you said, though it came out more like a sigh.
"ask your boyfriend, who looks like he’s about to go for sanji’s throat any second. and look, you know i'm not one to defend him."
you let out a weak laugh in response. you knew luffy trusted both you and sanji. your jealousy had a habit of showing itself whenever men of questionable character came around. so then, what was this flicker of jealousy?
for a moment, you hoped it was just the drink making you see and hear things — his look, your friend’s comment, all of it.
as night fell, so did your companions. despite your exhaustion, you didn’t feel like sleeping just yet. you wandered across the deck, searching for your boyfriend, but he was nowhere in sight. was he in the cabin? you made your way toward it — only to feel a pair of hands sliding around your waist, pulling you back firmly and pressing you against the door.
"looking for me, pretty thing?" there was a new heaviness in luffy’s voice, deeper and rougher, as a grin spread across his face. his breath was warm on your neck, and you could almost hear the unspoken promise hanging in the air.
"yeah," you blushed slightly.
really? It must be the alcohol, you thought. years of being together, and a simple question could still throw you off balance.
he was under your skin — like fire, like gravity. just a look and your whole nervous system short-circuited.
"hrmm," he murmured, his hands leaving the doorframe where they'd been, trailing down to the hem of your skirt. they slid slowly down your thigh, the slightest touch enough to make you nervous and intoxicated. his mouth grazed your neck, slow and maddening, and you instinctively arched back — just enough to tempt him further. it was slow, sweet, until he turned you around, giving your ass a soft, unexpected slap.
"luffy?!" you murmured, a little stunned, suddenly realizing where you were — in the hallway, with the very real possibility of someone walking by and hearing everything.
"what's the problem? do you want me to stop? you can tell me to," he growled. fuck, it drove you wild when he said it like that.
"it’s not that," you said. "it’s just that we’re in the hallway." your hand moved to the doorknob, turning it slowly. not daring to look back, you stepped forward, feeling him follow. suddenly, the door slammed shut, and the click of the lock rang out through the room.
you felt his hand on your waist again, pulling you close and turning you around. your arms brushed against luffy’s chest, and you felt one of his hands slowly glide down your body, coming to rest at the side of your neck.
in the blink of an eye, your mouths met. he kissed you fiercely, pulling away just enough for you to catch your breath. his hand rested on your strong waist, holding you in place if you tried to move.
all you could do in response was kiss him back, moaning softly against his mouth. every time you opened up, it was a chance for him to slip his tongue in, claiming you thoroughly.
you knew part of it was his jealousy — but you also knew luffy wasn’t the calm-in-bed type. when it came to you, he was... visceral. it made you nervous, but also hungry for more.
he stopped kissing you and, with the hand that had been on your neck, caressed your face. "you’re absurdly beautiful. it’s a shame you like to test my patience."
your eyes opened, locking with his. “i have no idea what you’re talking about, lu,” you said — god knows how much effort it took to string that simple sentence together.
"you don't know, huh? i'll show you then." he grabbed one of your thighs, lifting you up. in response, you lifted both your legs and intertwined them around luffy's hips. your intimacy rubbed against his hardness, and fuck, you felt a heat fill you just as you wanted him to do.
in the blink of an eye, you were on the bed, your blouse now a crumpled heap after luffy had ripped it open, buttons flying. his touch was rough, sending shockwaves straight to your core. you could come just from the way he was looking at you.
your blouse slipped off your shoulders, leaving your bra exposed. he pulled it down next, baring your breasts. with greedy hands, luffy grabbed them — they were completely vulnerable to his touch.
you looked at luffy and saw just how hungry he was. insatiable.
he grabbed one of your breasts while his mouth found the other. his tongue danced over the sensitive skin, teasing gently before nibbling and leaving hickeys you knew your companions would comment on later.
he then got off of you, looked at the mess you were in, and smiled ardently at the work he had done so far. at this point, even the slightest brush of his skin against yours made you moan — part pleasure, part embarrassment. but he didn’t mind; he loved seeing you this desperate for him.
his fingers toyed with the hem of your skirt. fuck, you were so wet your panties clung to you — warm, soaked, and shamelessly needy.
"lu, stop teasing me," you huffed, and your gaze locked with his. luffy’s eyes were dark — very dark and filled with sin. oh god. he was going to ruin you.
"tease you how? you mean like dancing with sanji all night — that kind of teasing?" he said, his voice thick with lust and desire.
he then pulled your panties aside, making you gasp at the touch. his fingers slid through your folds — slicker than he expected — before finding your clit, already aching from the sudden stimulation and the filthy kisses he'd given you.
"so ready for me. would he make you feel like this? would he make you this wet?" he growled.
you moved your hips, desperate for more friction, already starting to feel sore from the quick, shallow contact. you wanted him to fuck you now. but from the edge in his voice and the anger simmering just beneath the surface, you knew it wouldn’t be that simple. maybe if you pushed the right buttons, he’d give in... but it was a risk. and you were a mess, needing him to fuck you hard.
he suddenly pulled his fingers away from you, and before you could even protest, a soft slap echoed through the room. luffy had slapped your pussy — gentle, but enough to make your back arch and a moan escape your lips.
"i asked you a question. why aren’t you answering me?" he said.
"no, he can't. no one can," you said — and apparently, that pleased him, because this time he moved closer, slipping a finger inside you. the sudden intrusion was lewd, and it pulled a moan from you, his name falling from your lips.
"please, luffy... hah, please..."
"please, what? use your words, kitten. i know you can," he said, his fingers moving faster against your core.
"please, i just want to come," you breathed. the alcohol and desire had thrown all your pride out the window.
he shifted his body beneath yours, making you acutely aware of how big he was. you watched his muscles tense and jump as he fingered you — the effort minimal for him.
that man — despite all his jokes and idiotic behavior — had an unreal ability to make you wet like venice in no time.
then he kissed you — slow, needy, nibbling at your mouth. he only stopped to strip off the rest of your clothes, ripping away your skirt and lingerie until you were completely bare. with his body hovering over yours, luffy traced a path of kisses down your chest, across your breasts, and straight to your pussy — dripping wet, and all because and for him.
he didn’t waste a second — pulled you to the edge of the bed and smiled as he sank into you. his tongue slid along the wet trail he’d left between your legs, making your back arch as his name spilled from your lips. your fingers tangled in his black hair, you held on while he gripped your hips and fucked you with his mouth, relentless.
his tongue danced through every fold until it finally found your clit. you gasped, your body tightening as he claimed that sweet spot. and then, just as you were about to explode, he slid two fingers inside, fucking you into your first orgasm.
it didn’t take long. the wine had already gone to your head back when you were still on the deck with your friends but the pleasure luffy gave you? it was stronger than any drug or drink — a hit straight to your nervous system.
you started grinding against his face, surprised that even though he was pissed, he was giving you so much freedom to just feel. no teasing. no games. just pleasure.
your orgasm hit you hard, making you tremble. your legs jerked in brief spasms as luffy removed his fingers, licking every inch of you, making you even more sensitive. "fuck, you're so delicious."
as your breath steadied, you looked up — and there he was, undressing before you. each muscle, each scar, every inch of him was a masterpiece of desire. in that moment, he was yours entirely, a vision of raw, unfiltered perfection.
luffy moved on top of you, cradling your face as he kissed you eagerly, letting you taste a hint of you. nestled between your legs, the slick head of his arousal brushed against your still-sensitive core, amplifying the aftershocks of your recent climax
he rubbed his cock against your cunt a few times, making you moan. you moved your hips in search of more friction, but luffy held you back.
"for someone who just came, you're eager, don't you think? we've barely started," he said.
"luffy, please... just fuck me" you begged.
he entered you without warning, eliciting a thirsty moan from both of you. you were so wet and needy that it wasn’t a painful intrusion, but rather a pleasurable one. even so, he waited for you to adjust to his long, thick member before finally starting to move.
"you feel so good," you heard him say, his voice dropping an octave as he slid inside you.
he finally started pounding into you, his hips slamming against yours. the feeling of him filling you sent a jolt straight to your core, making you writhe in pure pleasure. he fucked you hard, one hand gripping your thigh while the other pressed into your hip.
your hands moved to luffy's back, smoothing over the tangle of muscles. you felt yourself clench around him as he removed your hands and pinned them above your head.
"humm, pretty... don't squeeze me like that, you're gonna make me cum," he said.
"come right on me," you moaned. you knew you had won, that you'd taken away his anger and jealousy, but luffy hated giving up. he pulled out of you, and before you could complain, he flipped you over, leaving you on all fours. luffy entered you again, giving your ass a slap that left you dizzy with pleasure.
in this position, one of luffy's hands moved to your hip, his fingers reaching your pussy. he touched you, massaging your clitoris again, sending a rush of electricity to your brain that made your arms give out, causing your face to fall onto the bed.
you heard his low laughter behind you — smug, knowing. forget it, he’d won this one, and he damn well knew it.
the touch on your sensitive core combined with the strong, rhythmic thrusts made you cum for the second time. luffy knew that in this position his cock reached your deepest, most sensitive spot — that in this position, you felt him even bigger and it was easier for you to come. he knew you so well, he could make you fall apart with just a few well-placed moves.
he pulled out of you, leaving you completely empty. you could hear the rustling of the sheets and the creak of the bed as luffy settled on his side. his cock glistened with your creamy arousal, still hard. his eyes hungry as they locked onto you.
you adjusted yourself, sitting up, your brain still processing the orgasm you'd just had. the inside of your thighs trembled, your breath coming in shallow gasps as you slowly returned to the real world.
he looked at you, taking in the mess you were, leaving you intoxicated. luffy then moved his hand to his cock, giving it a few strokes, his head tilting back. he had a lot of self-control when it came to cumming, especially if he wanted to fuck you senseless.
he was nothing short of a fucking sex god, sent to drive you crazy.
"sit on me," you heard him say. without hesitation, you crawled on all fours toward him, sliding one hand over his shoulder and bringing your thighs to rest on either side of him.
you slid down and started moving. luffy then placed his hands on your waist, but made no attempt to move you. he let you ride him, desperate for your orgasm, while he smiled in satisfaction at the sight of your breasts swaying above him. you knew how much he loved watching you grind on his cock, and you spared no effort in making him cum.
after a few moments, you could tell how close he was when his moans grew hard and his cock started to throb. "i'm so fucking close... i want to cum inside you, fill you up completely. tomorrow, everyone will know you're mine," he finally murmured.
You could only smile at the statement, which was also a request. of course, he wouldn’t do it if you didn’t allow it, but as your pussy clenched around him after his words, he knew he could.
"yes, please," you gasped, grinding your hips. the feeling of your hips and clit rubbing against his pelvis sent shivers down your spine.
finally, you felt him grip your waist, spilling himself into you. his cock throbbed, filling you completely. luffy moaned fervently beneath you, his eyes closed and eyebrows furrowed in ecstatic frenzy. he was beautiful — completely beautiful.
you kept rocking your hips even after he came, chasing your final orgasm of the night.
luffy caught his breath and started moving his hips against yours, making you feel every inch of him still deep inside you. the sensation of him, still so big and hard inside you, sent another wave of pleasure through your body. that, combined with the friction on your sensitive clit, made you come hard — this time squirting around his cock.
you heard his sweet, satisfied laugh as one of your hands reached back for support. you collapsed onto his chest, moaning softly and seeing stars.
"are you okay, my love?" he finally said. you raised your eyes and saw luffy's, now without any more lust, just the kindness he always carried.
"yeah, i'm fine." you said, finally pulling away from him.
luffy watched as you lay down beside him, turning onto your side.
he grabbed a towel and gently cleaned you up, tossing it somewhere across the room without a care.
you smiled as he lay down with you, his fingers gliding over your skin with slow devotion. his eyes grew a little distant, so you gently pulled his hand to your chest and he looked at you.
"something wrong?" you said, breaking the silence.
"i'm afraid of losing you," he replied, his voice now softer.
"to who? our cook? i think he loves you more than i do," you joked, but he still seemed distant.
"lu," you said, your voice now more serious. "you’ll never lose me to anyone, ever. your friends might love me, sure, but not like that. and honestly, no man in this world could ever make me feel the way you do. not in a million years."
the sudden declaration made him smile.
he pulled you close, and you snuggled into his chest. both of you were sleepy, warm in each other's arms. you could’ve easily fallen asleep like that — but you were sweaty and in need of a shower.
"come on, let's take a shower," you said softly, watching as his smile melted into another pout.
"ugh, nooooo!" he whined, his voice muffled against your skin.
"if you don't go, i won't come near you again until you take a shower," you said
he immediately pulled away from your arms and marched toward the bathroom.
you smiled and followed him. in the end, this was just right.
