Your gateway to endless inspiration
My piece for the @monoceroszine project! Was a pleasure to work along side some amazing artists and writers!
New run and new images starting with my favourite snapshot taken. Noctis just has daggers but that seems like a samurai standoff after a slice.
I did this peice in school
I don't quite remember the prompt but this peice reminds me of the parts of myself i struggle with.
On one end I'm a monster, wandering endlessly looking for a "why."
And on the other, I'm a little kid, still curious and awestruck. She wants to be herself, she wants to be free, and she wants to know and understand the world around her.
Both parts I'm rediscovering and getting used to again.
I'm back to classes again
I put them under the cut just in case some of yall are sensitive and don't want to see it 👇
He was a male british shorthair, a bit fat but not obese. I don't quite remember if we concluded the cause of death during autopsy but the dissection was informative (I'd post the photos but I'm afraid it would be too much 😬)
So here's a photo of mid-process assembling:
We used wires and instant glue. Gotta be careful with this stuff cuz it sticks to your fingers like crazy (and yes, there's a cow leg lying around in the background).
The one who was assembling was yours truly and I wasted SO MUCH TIME looking at the anatomy textbook to set the pose and limbs properly, but in the end it paid off. Our curator said that it was the most anatomically accurate cat posture out of all cat skeletons our uni museum had (yippee!)
(Also notice how gray the skeleton is compared to the previous photos. That's because when removing meat from the bones, we boil them and they tend to go gray, so in the final stage the skeleton needs to be whitened in hydrogen peroxide)
If you look closely at the skull you might notice that the jaws are not aligned properly — that's because my groupmate glued them the wrong way :p You need to be VERY precise in how you glue stuff, it doesn't separate easy afterwards.
Now see these two small bones right here? They are the collarbones. Fun fact about them is that cats and many other animals either have them reduced in size or don't have them at all! It depends on the species, but the main purpose of their absence is to help animals' front paws move more freely. In case of cats — to be more agile while climbing trees, fitting through small holes or walking on thin surfaces.
So naturally, these tiny bones just... reside in the muscle, not connected to literally anything.
And in this case our skeleton, I dare say, is very special, because, unlike the ones in the museum, it has collarbones in display. While removing the meat we (well, I) decided to not get rid of them and instead come up with a way to somehow include them in the final product. I came up with the idea of gluing them to transparent poles made of UV-curing glue. And as you can see, it worked pretty well 😄
All in all, it was a complicated, long but fun and very interesting process (nothing like my mute swan skeleton). This kitty-cat is gonna live forever in our museum as a display of hard work and dedication 🩷
Guys, I've been in a bit of an artblock lately but want to get back to drawing stuff as soon as possible (cus now I actually have time, yippee)
So! While you wait, I can offer you an interesting thing — pics of my first year vet project: the full skeleton of a domestic cat 🦴
Would you be interested? (Here's a little teaser 👇)
As promised, photos of our biology project — the full skeleton of a mute swan. If somebody, for whatever reason, is in need of a photos of a swan skeleton — here you go.
A new unique piece for our university's skeleton collection. It was fun making it, though a bit tricky. I learned a lot about mute swans than I ever had in my entire life.
The Halloween Man ‼️
(He’s also on my redbubble if anyones interested 😳👉👈)

Baron Von Steuer
week 15! "nicknamed 'the tax collector' by the thirians of the valley, he is a wretched spirit of pure greed, valuing nothing besides his own wealth and riches.. he doesnt even realize hes dead, gleefully dancing around on his mountain of stolen wealth. few remember his life, but long ago, he was once one of the financial founders of misenheim, investing his whole fortune into it.. with its incredible prosperity, he made his investment back 100x fold, losing his mind to pure glee.. he made even the other barons seem poor. he practically owned the kingdom's wealth, and only wanted more. he pulled away from the valley, losing his mind and life to his wealth. for his whole life, he was a husk of a man, and now, he was even less than that. through his wealth, he managed to procure a method to extract 1% of the coin from every transaction in the valley, a tax almost matching that of the empire's, while contributing absolutely nothing.. a literal leech on the economy, contributing to the growing instability across the kingdom even at the end of the world, he went out of his way to take advantage of the situation, trading basic amenities for the fortunes of anyone trying to flee and survive. many were swindled out of their life's savings for what would be pocket change to the baron and his merchants. he is, without a doubt, the most hated individual in the valley, and there are groups dedicated to hunting him down in his elusive hiding place, and blasting his cackling skull to pieces" -the historian, 406sd hi hi! here is week 15! took me about 4 hours, and has only 144 unique colors. i figured ive been posting too many cutesy characters, so i wanted to draw a villain >:3. anyways, thank you for checking out my work! i hope you have a wonderful week ♡
Ribsworth and Cattington! ♡

the townsfolk have also been very busy- so busy, he cant remember the last time hes seen one. he was worried hed have to spend his whole shift alone, but a brave cat cyme out to join him! ribsworth called them cattington, and they becyme fast friends.. cattington would bring him shinies, and ribsworth spent his breaks fashioning some simple armor for them.
he often tells cattington how he looks forward to seeing his princess again- hes sure shes missed him and his wonderful hair. she said she would write him as soon as she found time, so she must be pretty busy too. cattington suggests he write her some letters, to keep her spirits up- ribsworth loves the idea, and they spent their entire break writing updates on all the things that have happened over his shift"

Sun Goddess' design for school, with her ceremony sword
A lil pic I spent all night on. Its suppose to depict the pain of sorrow/saddness.
Didn’t bother adding a chain to the anchor to attach it to him so it’s just sticking on him, I guess.
They are on a date lol
