"It's just me, you can talk to me. Please come out."

If you're a writer you're supposed to write a lot of bullshit. It's part of the gig. You have to write a lot of absolute garbage in order to get to the good bits. Every once in a while you'll be like "Oh, I wish I hadn't wasted all that time writing bullshit," but that's dumb. That's exactly the same as an Olympic runner being like "Oh, I wish I hadn't wasted all that time running all those practice laps"
Character with a ton of safety pins (or buttons) on their clothing has nearly no reaction when they 'poke' them, despite it already being fully under and through their skin
Kid wanted to remind you guys
Sibling dynamics are kind of an untapped gold mine in media. Relationships between siblings can be so weird. We experienced the same childhood but in very different ways. I helped raise you. You helped raise me. You’re the only person I’ve ever really punched. You drive me fucking crazy but if anyone ever hurt you I’d chase them to the ends of the earth. You’re the only one who understands what it was like to see our parents slowly come to hate one another. Stop stealing my fucking socks.
Just remembered how many things need to happen in my story in order for it to be a full novel. I am no longer having a good day
Anyone else really enjoy writing characters that make a drastic decision and are totally justified for it, yet almost everyone is against them for it regardless?
