Probably won’t ever finish this but I like it! It feels nice to just stop when I’m done instead of when it “looks done”. The lighting is the focus anyway and I think it looks just fine in that aspect! :D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY FAVORITE KIDDOS!! Here’s a traditional piece I did for ‘em last year. Whaddya think of my aesthetic-y art photography? I'd say it's pretty Instagram-ready if I do say so myself. I made this piece for my wall and it’s still behind me, watching me as I type this in all its fuzzy glory!

I cannot believe that they are 21 now, holy As spoken by the almighty @flynns-hellhole​, "Dipper is now old enough to go into a bar and order some milk" I did have most of this done yesterday but I was exhausted so I ended up going to bed before it was finished. Polished it up today and we're good to go! Technically this is a remake of something I did around 2018. It's crazy how much I've improved since then! Fun fact, the wooden keychain on the top left was made by me! My dad rented some time with his local creative building's laser cutter and I got hooked up with some awesome stuff. Hope you guys had an awesome summer! Stay safe and stay weird. <3

A gift/late Art Fight revenge for my buddy @razziliciousart !! We’ve both got bat sonas, but hers is afraid of heights and mine loves to be high up, so I wanted to play with that dynamic a bit. :D

I’ve never been so proud of one of my pieces before. I didn’t know I had something like this in me and I got really emotional when it was finished because I finally feel like I’m becoming the artist I’ve always wanted to be. I really hope you enjoy this as much as I do! <3 <3

Oh, on another note, could someone tell me the Tumblr method for replying to comments on your posts? People are being so sweet and I wanna thank them but I’m not sure how!

I liked this sketch a lot so I gussied it up a bit! Still a bit rough but that’s okay, just wanted to work on something heartwarming and cozy. :D Felt it was still a bit lacking though so now it’s “animated”. Just a two-frame implication of breathing is all. :p I think it’s a good lil addition though!

After a whole year’s worth of awful depression I think that I’m finally starting to feel like my old self again after seeing a psychiatrist. Things are really looking up for me and I hope some of that happiness shines through here. <3 Have a lovely evening, everybody!

Stayed up too late drawing this but I couldn’t hold my hype, REPENTANCE IS SICK !!! I’m having so much fun discovering my favorite game again, went from 90% of achievements unlocked to 50% and I’m finding new things every run. :D 

The art updates are fantastic, the new areas are seriously beautiful and I love my kiddo Azazel’s new haircut ;v; <3 <3 If you’re seeing this, Sag, you rock.

Okay, first things first, apologies for how janky the colored line art is; I don’t do it often but I felt this piece needed some spicing up! This was drawn on my poor neglected iPad (known around the house as “The MaxiPad”) using MediBang, once again not something I do often! The reason I chose to use my iPad is cause I’m going to be getting a display tablet within a few days, gettin’ real tired of the hand/eye disconnect with my Wacom >:\ Oh, and I’ve changed my mind: I like Procreate more than iPad MediBang. It’s a close call but I can just manipulate my layers better in Procreate; couldn’t figure out how to do so in MediBang and I’m pretty savvy with complex art programs!

Now, some words on each of these fellas!

Dipper and Mabel: These two darlings remind me of my brother and I who are super close! They’re insanely cute and help me when I need some innocence in my life. I see myself a lot in both of them, but most people like to compare me to Mabel (my mom’s even started doing it). :D Sweater designs aren’t all that original but hey, cliches are cliches for a reason!

Bill Cipher: A total jerk who’s way too much fun to draw. Sometimes we all need a little chaos!

Yung Venuz and Yung Cuz: My go-to unfunny meme duo. These guys are probably more like favorite characters than comfort characters, I think they’re so much fun and they remind me of long game nights of Nuclear Throne with my little bro!

Stan and Ford: I could actually ramble about how much I love these two forever so I should probably leave it at that tbh. Apologies for more uncreative sweater designs OTL

Cosmo and Wanda: King and queen of my childhood! These two give me warm fuzzy feelings every time I see them, they remind me of a simpler time. <3 I think that having a positive romantic relationship to latch onto has helped me in getting through the separation of my parents, as well. They’re just so cute!

Isaac and Azazel: Little crying children are very fun to draw. Okay, that came out wrong, but you get the point. I started playing the Binding of Isaac in 2015 and ever since then it’s been probably my #1 favorite game, period. These two are my favorites to play as and I doodle them a lot! My headcanons are likely more developed than most of my own characters, oops. REPENTANCE HYPE!!

Mario and Luigi: Okay, the actual kings of my childhood. I’ve recently latched on to the Mario series for one reason or another, I think part of it is nostalgia and part of it is the cheerful aesthetics. Super Mario Galaxy was the childhood favorite, and since then I’m proud to say that I’ve 200%’d it! It helps that their designs are super cute, as well; I totally wanna grab lunch with Mario, he seems like the nicest guy ever. Oh, blame @metrognome129 for Luigi’s sweater btw. If you get it, you get it. :)

Happy holidays to you all, I hope you’re having a swell quarantined Christmas! Hopefully next year we’ll get to run around like crazy again. :D I miss my American friends!

A Tribute to Avicii | early 2019 | SPEEDPAINT

“[April 20th, 2018], Tim Bergling, better known under his stage name, Avicii, passed away. I wrote about my feelings regarding this in detail last year, so I won't ramble on for too long, but after creating this, I feel liberated, I think this is what I needed to make to move on. This is one of my favorite pieces, deeply personal to me, and I hope the passion that went into it is visible. Here's to the man, I know he was perpetually and horribly stressed in life, so I hope he's finally at peace. Thought the Bismarck flying fox fit due to the angular white markings on its face, it's truly a beautiful animal. The background is inspired by his songs "The Days," "The Nights," and "Sunset Jesus." The composition of the piece is a reference to his logo: ◢ ◤”

“A remake of an old piece of mine that I loved the concept but kinda hated the outcome of, haha. There are few things I love in this world more than Pines cuddles, so it's a more personal piece to me. And yeah I know that's kinda weird considering they're not my characters but pff but what can I say, I love these guys. It was nice to go back to cel-shading again for a bit, quite interesting! I did however give in near the end and cover like the entire thing with a free cloth texture though because I was getting sick of working on it, evident by the background, which is, uh, not great, but hey, it's presentable for the most part! Plus, I'm tired of not posting, haha. I noticed when I was finishing this up that this is kind of similar to an old piece by Archervale. This was totally unintentional, my apologies!”

Something I've been working on periodically between owed art for a while now, just a neat lil thing to put on my wall now that mom's stopped buying me calendars (it's 2020, after all!) Traditional work is a bit stress-inducing since there's no undo, but I find it kind of relaxing at the same time; it's nice to physically feel your work underneath your hands, I feel like I'm in more control of my brushstrokes. The background was brutal, I cheap'd-out half-way with a Sharpie and nearly died from the fumes LOL Edited a little bit in Photoshop to enhance the lighting and hide the terrible marker strokes in the black. Don't tell nobody. Inspired by this piece from Gnome Prince Studios! Go give them some love. <3

Happy Halloween!! This piece was a Halloween "Secret Santa" for Eden featuring his brown long-eared bat / golden-crowned flying fox hybrid!! Had so much fun with this character; bat gang rise up (and then down, and then back up). I was getting a bit too close to the deadline near the end and so had to swallow my pride and face the fact that the wooden frame was just not gonna happen, lol. It's a royalty-free image from Pexels, one of my favorite sites ever tbh : D The meaning behind this piece is up for interpretation. I'm a big fan of taxidermy, I was inspired by my own framed bats to spin a respectful (and in my opinion beautiful) art-form into something macabre. The pose of Jesus on the cross was something implemented partially for the irony of it as this character lives and works in Hell. Perhaps one could take this piece as punishing the damned in a horrific way that's still deemed moral and wholesome, or maybe it could be commentary on how torture and violence is so readily displayed through religious imagery. Would love to hear what you think!

Heya, guys!   So, I'm a picky nerd who loves me a good generator. I wasn't satisfied with existing animal generators, most of them being very non-specific (i.e., "parrot", "bat", "mouse"...boring!), and so I figured I'd create my own!  After garnering an initial list of animals, I decided to take it a step further -- let's add occupations, personality traits, nationalities, and a bunch more to make a more extensive generator for creating a basis for interesting characters!   I've compiled what I believe to be the most extensive anthro/animal generators on the internet. We're talking every mammal, bird, fish, reptile, and amphibian on Earth, 5MB of text, takes like a full minute to scroll through the source code at top speed! Countless personality traits, original attributes, body types, and so, so much more await in this puppy.

Feel free to use however you want. Mix and match aspects, ignore parts, add parts, whatever. Please, enjoy! I hope you find this as inspiring and helpful as I have in such a short time.  If you have any questions or suggestions, lemme know!
