Day 27: Thunder. Kind of a throwback to a piece last year, so it's nice to see the improvement 👏
Day 25: Prickly. But soft on the inside 🌼
Day 22: Expensive. I wanna try a 5-star restaurant someday ✨
Day 21: Drain
I've been listening to a lot a lot of lofi lately
Day 19: Scorched
The roomies suggested giraffes for this prompt so... fire elemental! 🔥🦒🔥
Day 18: Bottle. Where do you think that path goes to?
Day 17: Swollen. A continuation from last year’s inktober 🐛🐡
Day 15: Weak. I'm always afraid to hold tiny animals like kittens or puppies, they're so fragile ;--;
Recently I entered an art poster contest for Amazon Prime's series, Lore! I didn't get selected, but at least I got to practice painting and participate in something really cool 😀 Also, that explains my fascination for that specific clock 🕰️
Day 14: Clock. Based on the Orloj, or the Prague astronomical clock ✨🕰️✨
Day 11: Cruel
This was rather difficult to figure out what to draw. In the end, I came up with a feeling that I'm certain a lot of us struggle with. It sucks, but it's also kinda reassuring to know that it's not an uncommon thought, and we're not alone in this
Day 10: Flowing
This is my contribution to World Mental Health Day 🙂 One of the exercises I learned from the meditation app @headspace was to imagine getting covered by ‘liquid sunlight.’ It helped feel a sense of warmth and think of good thoughts ☀️ I hope you all are having a good day!
Day 8: Star
This was a challenging one, but I learned a lot about clouds and white ink pens ☁️
Day 6: Drooling. Inspired by the Lily of the valley flower. 🌼
Day 5: Chicken. Whether it’s a giant chicken or tiny child, that’s up to you!
Day 3: Roasted. All I kept thinking was food..soup..roasted squash soup...🍲
It's that time again! Join me on this #inktober journey :)
Day 1: Poisonous. Inspired by the Black bat flower 🦇
To better myself as an artist, I decided to set a daily goal: speed painting! These will be done each day for 30 minutes, so they will appear rough… which definitely takes me out of my comfort zone 😬! But that just means that it’ll help me focus on lighting and color.
Many thanks to @goro.fujita and his insightful guest lecture at the SHM Club a few weeks back; I’m motivated to get back to speed painting! This will be a long rigorous journey, but I’m sure it’ll be worth it 🔥 Here’s my pieces from Day 1-9
