This post kept showing up on my dash and I always felt that there was something off with "finding beauty" in the effects of a global pandemic with a high body count, no matter how pretty the results. Thanks for putting it into words.
Same energy
A comic I will most likely NOT finish (’: So anyways what if the Apex found Jesse before he met MT and AD?
I really dig these character designs.
you may not be able to control the plot of your life, or the characters in it, or even the genre, but you can control one thing: the soundtrack. grab some headphones and make it a banger.
I made a Disaster Bi pride flag.
If I may add;
The whole train arc. (Which I know appeared in the 03 version, but still.)
The Führer showing up in Dublith in a Hawaiian shirt and a straw hat.
Sig and Major Armstrong flexing st each other. (Again, in the 03 version, but it's just so good.)
Mei's first meeting with the Youswell miners, lending more impact to her return to Youswell.
Lust's extended dialogue with Dr. Marco in his clinic.
Dr. Knox telling Mei and Lan Fan about the Ishval war, concluding with the line "Don't fight. I'm tired of seeing dead children."
some of my fav manga scenes that were left out of the animes in no particular order:
tiny baby ed in oversized plaid pajamas and tiny baby al in his too-big slippers holding on to ed’s sleeve
al telling the devil’s nest gang that they’re lame while they’re holding him hostage
ed getting jumped by another dog and al utilizing his big scary appearance to save him (let my brother go, ‘kay? *grrs* KAY? *lightning strikes in the background and the dog runs away in fear*)
that one surreal panel where winry and ed prance down the beach while she chases him with a chainsaw
Roy and Riza meeting the elrics because there was a typo with their ages in the file
Riza making a time travel joke about said typo
envy walking in on ed in the shower and al’s like brother cover ur butt -_-
ed and al’s primary school teacher throwing chalk at them for not paying attention to the lesson
Roy attempting to blackmail ed because he knows about the human transmutation and ed immediately shoots back that he knows about Roy’s pyramid scheme ‘cause he didn’t even act worried when ed tried to spear bradley
Then Roy pointing at ed and being like Riza can u believe this kid and rizas just like u could at least PRETEND you care sir :////
Ling trying to court winry and ed’s just like wiNrY!!!!
Selim calling ed a small bean
that time Hohenheim casually fathered the hell out of ed while also sitting on the toilet
mei fantasizing about her and al skiing and snowboarding
ed nearly having a conniption when he found out Ling was younger bUT TALLER than him so he told Ling he had a freakishly adult face
the one (1) time Roy called Riza by her first name
Al and Hohenheim running into each other and Al’s like DAD?! and Hohenheim’s like MY VINTAGE ARMOR?!
Here's a fun Pride fact; Sweden has no countrywide standards for when it is celebrated. Back in my hometown it was in May, and in other parts I've heard it's celebrated in July. I always found that odd.
Well, having recently moved, I was asked a few weeks ago whether I was coming to Pride the coming weekend, and I'm like; "It's February. We live in the Northlands. There's snow and ice on the ground and we get 15 degrees below zero on a good day. Why do I have to be gay in this climate?"
Anyway I'm curious, do other countries also ignore "International Pride Month, or are we just being weird?
Here’s my Infinity Train comic that I’ve been doing in my spare time! I loved the show and wanted to see if I could do a short format story with thematic significance. I had fun if anything! You can find this comic posted on my Twitter & Instagram
"I don't remember you! You weren't there! You weren't there when he was born! You weren't there when she died! Where were you? Where were you!?"
A masterpiece.
God, Taika Waititi's "Boy" is still one of the greatest movies ever made. The only movie that has had me grinning like an idiot with tears rolling down my cheeks.

Buncha Link and Navi pics by Rachel Morris… who is on Flickr, for those who’ve missed her since she closed down her Tumblr page.
growing up reading fantasy books was such a bust cause your whole life you’re left wanting more from life and like there’s something missing and you’re just waiting for that missing part to begin but it’s never gonna come
You know who I always thought could've made a great Captain Vimes in live action? Hugh Laurie.
What with Blackadder and Fry & Laurie he's got plenty of experience with silly comedy, but he can also manage the gruff, stone-faced seriousness that the character needs.
I dunno, maybe people think he's a bit too old now, but honestly?
I still think he could pull it off.
The single most beautiful girl you have ever seen.
Have you ever drawn turtles?
I know Om is technically (in the form of) a tortoise but close enough
Who are you? said Om. The small god stirred. There was a city once, said the small god. Not just a city. An empire of cities. I, I, I remember there were canals, and gardens. There was a lake. They had floating gardens on the lake, I recall. I, I. And there were temples. Such temples as you may dream of. Great pyramid temples that reached to the sky. Thousands were sacrificed. To the greater glory. Om felt sick. This wasn’t just a small god. This was a small god who hadn’t always been small… Who were you? And there were temples. I, I, me. Such temples as you may dream of. Great pyramid temples that reached to the sky. The glory of. Thousands were sacrificed. Me. To the greater glory. And there were temples. Me, me, me. Greater glory. Such glory temples as you may dream of. Great pyramid dream temples that reached to the sky. Me, me. Sacrificed. Dream. Thousands were sacrificed. To me the greater sky glory. You were their God? Om managed. Thousands were sacrificed. To the greater glory. Can you hear me? Thousands sacrificed greater glory. Me, me, me. What was your name? shouted Om. Name? A hot wind blew over the desert, shifting a few grains of sand. The echo of a lost god blew away, tumbling over and over, until it vanished among the rocks. Who were you? There was no answer.

Small Gods by Terry Pratchett
Read this book. Read all the Discworld books. Don’t let the number of them put you off. You don’t have to read them in order. Just pick any one book and read it.
