As promised, here’s the soriel comic I was working on! This is set in a post-neutral ending wherein sans and Toriel live together. With the exception of Undyne, everyone is dead….bittersweet.
(sans never tells Toriel how they all died.)
So, I adhere to the headcanon that “our” Rick DID come back to Beth at some point (probably after the battle of Bloodrich). He didn’t actually abandon her for 20 years and that’s why he has memories of holding Morty as a baby. However, “his” Beth and her family were attacked by the Galactic Federation and killed.
That’s why our Rick knows he can dimension hop and replace a copy of himself, and why he’s so thoroughly apathetic to the C-137 family, even though he does have moments of fondness. They’re not his.
His baby died years ago…
So if Beth says she hasn’t seen her father in 20 years, and she’s 34*, that means Rick left when she was 14*. And while that doesn’t mean he was around all the time, she probably got to hang out with him when he was a rockstar which is a fascinating period of his life to me. Maybe she even got to go to a couple of Flesh Curtains concerts off planet.
It’d be cute if Beth was super psyched about becoming a heart surgeon and Rick was chill with her using him as a patient. His kid’s going places, you hear?
A spinoff of my Evil Stan AU :D
A stray Portal Ford and his unfortunate Rick stumble upon the Human Henchmaniac, Stan “Piraña” Pines, loyal minion of one Bill Cipher.
Can they outwit the Ford-Killer Fish?
Evil Stan’s memories of Before are a bit of a mess -- Bill surely had a hand in this. He needed Stan to hate Ford to the last atom of his being, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he inserted false memories or simply suppressed what good ones he had to twist Stan’s innate loyalty to his side.
Now, Evil Stan is not stupid. He knows Bill has messed with him, so sometimes he can’t help the intrusive thought: What was his original Ford like? He’s seen so many of them die that he can’t remember what was unique about his own.
He is, essentially, an unreliable narrator, even to himself.
Follows these comics.
Bill likes making a nest out of bills -- the eye on the pyramid calls to him for some reason -- but stupid Stan keeps taking them! Sorry, pocket dorito! XDD

Set a bit before the flashback episode, where Stanley says “Good things you’ve got your smarts, Poindexter. I’ve got that other thing…what’s it called? Oh right! Punching!”
It made me somewhat melancholy to imagine Stanley thinking of himself as only good for physical violence as a child, but then I realized, how did he come to this conclusion at such a young age? Boxing, surely, but also his brother reaffirming his competence first hand.
My evil Stan AU.
Premise is, basically, Stan falls through the portal instead of Ford and into the Nightmare Dimension. Bill brainwashes/convinces/tortures him into hating Ford (perhaps his own was an asshole?), and Stan “Piraña” Pines becomes an interdimensional hitman and bounty hunter, tracking down the many Portal Fords and either killing them or delivering them back to Bill to be personally tortured to death.
Bill cannot leave the Nightmare Dimension, so he uses Evil Stan as a personal meat puppet and channels his powers through him, damaging his eye (hence the eyepatch) and accelerating the aging of his body. In exchange for this willing possession, though, Stan can also use some of Bill’s powers (shapeshifting black tentacles!!) to survive on strange planets and even the void of space for a short amount of time.
Not all is angst and violence, I promise! There are plenty of incompetent henchman shenanigans. See, unfortunately for our amoral protagonist, he is still identical to Ford so sometimes he gets confused for the very bounty he’s chasing XDD

Bill canonically cannot tell the twins apart so I just had to draw this XDD;; Bill is also a sore loser. Sorry, Ford! (Don’t worry, he’ll get the finger back...)

(Sorry I ended up not having more Dipper and Mabel talking to the younger Stans, I drew this without a sketch or prepared dialogue – directly to inks with a ‘let’s see where we end up’ attitude XDD it was fun! And now I can draw Dipper and Mabel fairly well, yay!)

I assume you probably meant with the teens knowing Mabel and Dipper are their grand-nephews, but uhhh, my hand decided to draw this instead XDD I’m sorry not sorry

I like to think Stanley knows a decent amount of physics after 30 years of self study, certainly enough to impress young Ford :) And wouldn’t it be fantastic if he could, at least once, casually correct older Ford on his math??
And yes, Stanley does intentionally mispronounce things just to rile his brother up XDD
