Ao3 I swear to god if you say I need to get rid of something or log in I’m going to cry. Like stop logging me out when I’m trying to go to the next page or when I’m trying to click on a fanfic
I swear to god I’m going insane. I can’t find the episode where perry the platypus was stuck inside a cat statue and was rolled around by dr. Doofenshmirtz for that episode. Because I need proof that there was an episode like that and I didn’t name my cat perry for nothing
Wyatt Callow never learned the phrase "to paint your poster" and its meaning. He never learned the Maysilee way of dealing with the Capitol by keeping her high, being loud and proud to prove that people from the districts were human beings as well, with their dignity
Yet Wyatt did both. Painted his poster and proved his humanity. Is there anything more human and noble than dying for another person? And more than that, dying for the one person that is, in the eyes of everyone, insane and would stand no chance anyways?
In tbosas snow got Lucy Gray a lot of gifts by reminding the audience of her selflessness when staying with dying Jessup, and presenting it as a trait that is expected of Capitol citizens only. Four decades later Wyatt proved that selflessness could be found in everyone, no matter from how poor family or how poor district they came from.
Wyatts final poster, dying for a helpless girl, although it wasnt done with the purpose of defying the Capitol, like everything Maysilee did, was the biggest act of defiance there could be.
That day, the opponents of the regiment gained at least a few new supporters in the Capitol. People, who understood, that all the Capitol did was spread false propaganda about their fellow citizens in the districts by portraying them as evil beasts, who understood, how evil the hunger games were, and who decided that it was time for them to end once and for all. The movement started that night would last until the very day, snow dropped dead. The story of a district boy offering his life for an insane thirteeb year old lived on amongst the capitol rebels, being w source of inspiration and strenght.
It was not a conscious act of rebellion, like everything Maysilee did. He did not even know the phrase. Yet Wyatt Callow's final poster destroyed the propaganda image of a heartless beast from the districts, propagated by the capitol. His final poster helped bring the Capitol down

The Fentons were successful in prying Phantom away from their boy, but that didn't mean that the damn ghost didn't come back to kidnap Danny while he was recuperating from the operation that depossessed him.
Or, the one where Phantom and Danny are permanently separated by their parents, and Phantom feels like he must protect his human form at any cost, even if they have to flee their home in Amity Park.
(Phantom wants protection, for himself and his human half. He's in search of foster parents to replace the Fentons and will evaluate potential candidates with a keen eye.)
(Human Danny has long since determined that his ghost half has gone nuts after what their parents did to them, but they do need help, so he pushes for Phantom to consider other heroes as potential candidates for parenthood.)
Y’ever read something and have understanding that has eluded you interminably suddenly stop, curl up, and snuggle neatly into a fold in your brain because a new way way opened to it?
