so for those of you who don't know, I was recently diagnosed with ADHD-I. So far, I think my favourite thing that I've learned is the idea of "embrace the pivot".

Have you ever found a productivity system that works for you (whether it be your Google calendar, bullet journaling, agenda-ing, etc), and you're so pumped because it's like finally! Now I can actually get some stuff done! But then time passes, days or weeks or years, and the novelty of it runs out, and then it kind of just... Stops working. It can be so frustrating, because this thing that used to work no longer works for seemingly no reason.

But, that isn't a failing of the thing, that thing worked for a certain amount of time, and that's good! I used a massive agenda in my first year of uni, and it kept me on track for all my assignments. My second year agenda? Barely touched it. Instead, I started to use a bullet journal, and that was the thing that helped me through most of the year. But as time went on, my spreads got less creative, and in the final term, I didn't even want to touch it because it was too much work. So I switched to Notion.

The agenda didn't fail me, and neither did the bullet journal, it just worked for a certain amount of time. And when that time inevitably runs out, you can just say, "thank you for serving me for so long, I'm going to pivot to the next thing." And then you do it without feeling like you should try harder or like that thing failed you.

This doesn't just have to apply to productivity either. Systems, tools, habits, hobbies, coping mechanisms.. They all serve their purpose. It's okay to let them go when the time comes.

Just finished binging Wakfu on Netflix and BOY OH BOY I have thoughts

One of them is that I really need to stop flooding my tumblr with nothing but wips but oh well

The second is << SPOILERS AHEAD !!>> that they did my man Adamai dirty

I really wished we got more of an in-depth analysis on my lil baby in the season but there’s a massive change they’ll do it in season four but these are just my thoughts as it stands now

It made no sense why he’d be so hateful towards the Gods or so quick to trust the Siblings until you realize baby has been abandoned time and time again by The Brotherhood. Started off when Yugo left him to save Dally, then left him to go on adventures to get the dofus then yet again when he chose to save Dally over heeding Ad’s advice. I can see why he took such pleasure in potentially killing Dally as well as the thought of ending all gods because he, too, has been orphaned by one

But this is all said without the context of the games or manga so I could be waaay off either way I think season 3 was meh but the villains weren’t too bad. Abandonment was the theme of this season

I just wish season 3 did a better job of actually addressing it because NONE of my abandoned babies got a proper apology in my book

They also did Evangeline and Amalia disservice but those are thoughts for another crudely drawn wip

Mentally calling LBD’s host Ladybug until I figure out her name <3

Anyways I head canon (or have an au? Canon divergence?) that Ladybug lost her memories during her time as a host and so the gang were forced to turn her into the authorities to hopefully find her family, but in the foster system some of the kids recognized her during her time as LBD and don’t exactly treat her well which is when yah boi MacDad comes to her rescue <3

Anyways the laws of my own happiness dictate she gets adopted by the MK gang, mostly but unofficially by Mac <33

I also hc that she totally has LBD’s powers and becomes mentored by Mac let’s GO!!

Imagine Mk grabbed the staff first

Imagine LBD sensed her powers weren’t enough and decided to drop her control and focus on one last illusion

Imagine the staff is so strong you use your whole strength to lift it

Now imagine what that kind of force would do to a human wrist …

Anyways it makes sense why Wukong and MK didn’t fight but a girl can’t help but wonder what would happen if they did <3

This was going to be an animatic (and may?? still be?) but then it turned into a comic I guess! Big BIG props to camila cuevas!! Got me back into Undertale not once but twice man she’s talented!! "The story of a boy who became a man... By becoming a bear."

This movie is way too under appreciated in my opinion… The fandom is practically non-existent…

And I don’t understand why? The plot was fantastic.

All of the characters were lovable.

There was no one that you absolutely could not stand.

The “bad guy” was actually the main character, Kenai. Which was an interesting twist for Disney.

But by building a bond with this young cub (Koda), and seeing the world through the eyes of a bear, he realized that he (as a man) had been the monster… Not bears.

I mean, talk about character development…

Koda: Those monsters are really scary… Especially with their sticks.

And for me, this scene right here was one of my most emotional Disney moments. You can’t even here Kenai telling the actual story… But you can see their facial expressions and you can just feel it. You know exactly what he’s saying to Koda.

Kenai: Well, I have a story to tell you.

Koda: Really? What’s it about?

Kenai: Well, it’s kind of about a man… and kind of about a bear. But mostly, it’s about a monster.

… Koda… I did something very wrong.

Okay, but on a lighter note?

The animation was incredible.

Amazing.

It was a powerful movie about brotherly love, guidance, and responsibility, and it truly is one of my favorite Disney movies ever.

Not to mention the soundtrack is amazing. You can’t go wrong with Phil Collins.

The fandom will never be huge, but the movie definitely deserves more credit. If you haven’t watched it, I highly recommend it.

I have a teeny tiny AU idea

This say you was kind of a 1950s/ship vs ship au.

So it involves Jasper, David, and Daniel. So all of them are teens in high school.

David enjoys babysitting for families in his neighborhood. (The kids he babysits her the kids are the campers)

Jasper is David’s close friend who is a nice and sweet guy. He’s has the BIGGEST crush on David since they were young.

And then you got Daniel. In this au Daniel is your classic 1950s High school bad boy. He’s always up to something not good. If he’s not up to something bad he’s probably planning something bad. So Daniel tries flirting up David all the time. Always trying to get him to go on a date with him or something. David finds him kinda cute but always rejects his offer for a date.

So basically it’s your basic ‘May the best man get the girl/guy’ story.

PS sorry I’ve been posting here so much. :(
