Can I request some Blind David art! I was reading fics about it and it's now my favorite AU!

did you think i’d keep it fluff?Imagine how great terrible it’d be if David had nightmares about the event that got him blind and relives the pain / feels phantom pain from the dream and sometimes wakes up clawing at his face and wailing and Max has to too often help David calm down and hold him back from injuring himself

Amnesia AU - https://vivi-senpaii.tumblr.com/post/164732776851/were-doin-this (DETAILS NOT MINE - Was inspired by a post from sunlightisforplants ! But what I came up with : - Max has a bad day, and so he runs away from camp. Gwen and David didn’t notice until late into the night, and by then a huge fuckin storm was brewing. David Volunteers to go out looking for him while Gwen takes care of the kids - Its morning, and Gwen starts to get worried, but then Max pops into the cafeteria acting like nothing happened. Gwen is pissed with him and tells him off, then asks him where David is. Max had revealed he had come back on his own. That he hadn’t seen David since before he ran off. - Full scale search for the red-head bby - Max and Gwen eventually find him at the bottom of a cliff  (the same cliff Jasper fell from coughcough) and discover he’s a bit banged up but not dead. He’s unconscious for long enough to Gwen to call 911, but after she finishes David wakes up - Woop-di-doo amnesia - The doctors tell David that the best way to recover his memories is to stay where he is, a.k.a camp, where he has the most memories - (in this AU, David is an orphan/foster kid so he has no family that can take care of him, which is why he is staying in Camp with Gwen) - Davey and Max start off rough but bond over how sucky adults are when it comes to being nice to them (i.e family troubles) - Gwen has to take care of TWO little bastards now - Davey, not that he is an adult, also LOVES to drink. He often sneaks out of camp to go to the town bar (he also loves to drive)  - He is a lightweight so he passes out very quickly / gets drunk very quickly - Max often hitches a ride in order to help Davey back to camp when he’s fucked up Stolen Identity AU - https://vivi-senpaii.tumblr.com/post/164697016136/do-you-know-how-easy-itd-be-to-dye-blonde-hair?is_related_post=1#notes Just as it sounds like! - Daniel recovers from his poisoning and decides to take vengeance on Camp Camp for thwarting him. - He kidnaps David ratther easily ‘cus our boy is a dummy dumb and locks him in a cellar in the words idk its remote no one finds it - Daniel’s uses hair dye and green contact lenses, as well as stealing David’s neck-shirt (because he is just a dick plain and simple) and, with great ass acting skills, goes to camp camp and act like nothing’s happening. - Very good actor, no one notices for a long time - except for Max, of course - Daniel starts off planning to poison all the kids and put the blame on David, but before he can Max confront’s him. Daniel is super pissed but deides to roll with it and uses David’s location/health as blackmail for the poor kid - Daniel changes his plan to just make everyone as miserable as possible, crushing everyone’s dreams with subtle comments and insults here and there (and of course they will mean a lot to these kids because it’s David saying all those mean things) - But eventually, Daniel finds himself...actually ...enjoying Camp camp...the way the kids look up to him, treat him like a friend, care and play and tease him. There are rough patches, but the affections between everyone is just too good to give up - So Daniel’s plan changes and he simply decides he’ll just be David from now one - Max is very much furious about it - David, all the while, is locked in the cellar, often times going without food and water because a) Counselor work is tiring and Daniel forgets and B) Daniel is just a dick - Also, in order to make sure David doesn’t escape on his own, Daniel gives him food and water laced with rat poison to keep him constantly sick  

Blind David AU

because its 11:31, im illegally awake and I am dying

- The kids are all messing around with niel’s scientific stuff, trying to light fires in all sorts of different ways (Max and nikki is all up for the destruction, niel just likes to impress his friends with how compounds work with each other)

- David stumbles upon them doing this and starts to lecture the kids while gathering up the stuff

-Max just gets suddenly very pissed (possibly david says the wrong thing at the wrong time?) and shoves david, making him drop some extremely volotile elements blah-di-blah BOOM JUICE

- (coughcough split second before it goes boom boom David grabs max and just fuking THROWS HIM out of harms way (we all know thats possible, you cant argue)

- boom boom happens, David’s face his fucked up he goes to the hospital

- cue ashamed kids and confused max -why-did-he-save-someone-like-me-angst 

- couple of weeks pass, they sneak into gwens car when she goes to visit him in the hospital. Gwen catches them just asks he aprks -blah-di-blah she lets them come.

- Max comes in, all moody with guilt and starts with something like “David if you say ‘I told you so’ I swear to god ill-” David just hugs him and says (like the pure boi he is) “Im so glad your okay!”

Doctor takes off David’s bandages, his eyes are severely damaged and he has scars all over his face - they announce he’ll never see again

- of course david still works at camp campbell because NO ONE CAN STOP HIM

- Cue fluff where the kids have to help him navigate and help him with activities

David : "Am I at the flag?”  Max : “no, not yet just a little more” David : “how about now?” Max : “no david - ill tell you when where there” David: “....NOW?” Max :“for god’s sake - YES your right under it!”  David : “Swell~! *salutes” Max : *turns him around so he’s actually facing the flag* “fucking idiot...” eventually and with a lot of practice though he learns how to navigate from instinct and hearing, ends up becoming legendary with hide-and-seek
