This is a little scene I was messing with for chapter 21 of Windwheel aster, it’s not a moment that’s at all relevant to the plot (might even be cut out if it doesn’t work well in the final draft) just something funny, btw I’m half way done with writing!!! *celebrates by chugging a cup of coffee* …I’m just really excited-

Venti never really got the chance to personally meet the storm god before like this. The few times Carmen ended up alone with the god, Venti was safely hidden away. So all the questions the wisp had, all those times he wondered why? –Why did he treat his people the way he did?-- Were left unanswered… Now he gets to see the truth up close and it's still as frightening as it was when he saw the god from afar, safely hidden in Carmen’s cloak like a child hiding under their covers.

Venti seems to sense her confusion and near hysteria. “They… tend to run off and do their own thing every now and then… I try not to question what chaos they cause for the sake of my sanity.” He smiles !  Like there’s nothing to worry about! What kind of mayhem are these kids causing?!  They're kids! How can they even protect themselves?!   “Don’t worry Lumine, we’re very capable!” Sage nods with pride. Lumine looks at the boy and tries to smile and nod along, but she’s fairly sure her smile looked even more stressed than the bags under her eyes.  “And Venti made us promise to send him a pigeon if we were in danger.” Nora reassures, much to Lumine's confusion, A pigeon?! You're going to send a pigeon if you're in danger?! What good is a stupid bird going to do!? Are these people crazy?!   Everyone else – unaware of Lumine's mental breakdown— continues to banter, “And if you guys don’t, you're grounded.” Venti glares.
