while i understand why a lot of sci-fi has humans being shitty to AIs while the AIs are like “i am just existing what the fuck” I think it’d be fun to do the opposite. Homo “will packbond with anything” sapiens DESPERATELY trying to get the favor and friendship of an Artificial Intelligence that is mostly indifferent to them. They want the ship’s computer to like them sooooo fucking bad!!
things i say that confuse and worry my coworkers:
“happy birthday” every time i hand them something
“well, that’s not ideal” whenever something is going wrong
“we are in the timeline that god abandoned” whenever i’m mildly inconvenienced
“can’t you see that your fighting is tearing this family apart?” whenever two or more coworkers are arguing
referring to taking medication as “eating medicine”
“time to go back to prison!” when putting animals back in their cages
referring to inanimate objects as (s)he, particularly when i break something and say “oh no, he’s dead.” this concerns them especially when i follow it up with “that’s not ideal”
“what are they gonna do, fire me?”

Soooo- Touchstarved, am I right?? I planned to post about it on the kickstarter anniversary but you must forgive my fashionable lateness <3. Got into it a bit ago and I've been doodling for it for a while. Prepare for a lot more where this came from very soon >:). Especially of my favourite character. Who? You shall soon see.
But for now, have a doodle and Vere and the lovely alchemist Noel, made by the equally lovely @todayis-snowy! I came up with a pose concept, and those two were just right there.
And I do have my own MC in the pipeline. Hopefully finished up in the next week. Along with a bunch of other art. Until then though!
