[heathcliff talking to infant hareton after hindley's death] ". . . previous to following with Hareton, he lifted the unfortunate child on to the table and muttered, with peculiar gusto, 'Now, my bonny lad, you are mine! And we'll see if one tree won't grow as crooked as another, with the same wind to twist it!' The unsuspecting thing was pleased at this speech: he played with Heathcliff's whiskers, and stroked his cheek . . ."

Hatsune Miku could kill MacBeth
Yes, Hatsuke Miku from Vocaloid could kill Macbeth!
She applies for all three clauses: Gender Clause due to being a girl; Unconventional Birth Clause due to being a software voicebank; and the Birth Parent Clause due to her creator being male software developer Sasaki Wataru! Thank you both for your submission!

Funeral of the dead butterflies when he's out during Green noon: I came out here to attack people and I'm honestly having such a good time right now.
Random agent: You're... Still attacking people
Random agent 2: Shut up *first agent's name*, ordeals aren't people
(In my personal experience, FOTDB really likes attacking Green noon ordeals, which spawned this idea when I saw the incorrect quotes when I was using a generator)
M!A: Every time this ask is reblogged, a raw chicken will be flung at a random sinner.

Punctuating Dialogue
✧
➸ “This is a sentence.”
➸ “This is a sentence with a dialogue tag at the end,” she said.
➸ “This,” he said, “is a sentence split by a dialogue tag.”
➸ “This is a sentence,” she said. “This is a new sentence. New sentences are capitalized.”
➸ “This is a sentence followed by an action.” He stood. “They are separate sentences because he did not speak by standing.”
➸ She said, “Use a comma to introduce dialogue. The quote is capitalized when the dialogue tag is at the beginning.”
➸ “Use a comma when a dialogue tag follows a quote,” he said.
“Unless there is a question mark?” she asked.
“Or an exclamation point!” he answered. “The dialogue tag still remains uncapitalized because it’s not truly the end of the sentence.”
➸ “Periods and commas should be inside closing quotations.”
➸ “Hey!” she shouted, “Sometimes exclamation points are inside quotations.”
However, if it’s not dialogue exclamation points can also be “outside”!
➸ “Does this apply to question marks too?” he asked.
If it’s not dialogue, can question marks be “outside”? (Yes, they can.)
➸ “This applies to dashes too. Inside quotations dashes typically express—“
“Interruption” — but there are situations dashes may be outside.
➸ “You’ll notice that exclamation marks, question marks, and dashes do not have a comma after them. Ellipses don’t have a comma after them either…” she said.
➸ “My teacher said, ‘Use single quotation marks when quoting within dialogue.’”
➸ “Use paragraph breaks to indicate a new speaker,” he said.
“The readers will know it’s someone else speaking.”
➸ “If it’s the same speaker but different paragraph, keep the closing quotation off.
“This shows it’s the same character continuing to speak.”
i often see people (specifically in the epic fandom) wanting to butchify odysseus or make odypen butchfemme, and squealing over sapphic covers from epic. let me present to you outis from limbus company, who is literally odysseus but a woman. limbus company's characters are based on classic lit, and outis is odysseus!
we don't know her full backstory yet but she IS a masculine woman and could very well be a butch lesbian? her penelope's gender is up in the air as of rn but it's heavily anticipated that her penelope is a woman. thus, butchfemme odypen COULD be a reality in like a year
play limbus company for all your butch odysseus needs...
