HAPPY PI DAY!
For this year's celebratory pattern I wanted to tackle a dream project of mine: stitching a functional unit circle. The French knots (all 100 of them!) around the lower circle represent the coordinates of each point (sans radicals and negative signs), and the upper circle shows how sine and cosine can be found by following a point around a circle's circumference.

“sotr is mid because you already know how it ends” shut the fuck up, the point of the book is that despite knowing how it ends you would have never known what actually went down because that’s the point of propaganda, the whole book is about the power of propaganda
it would have been devastating if Haymitch just hid throughout his entire game. it would have been devastating if he cheated. it would have been devastating if he killed everyone in that arena with his bare hands. it would have been devastating if everyone sacrificed themselves for him.

there isn't words.
effie was the last person he saw before entering the games and the first person he really saw upon getting out. and then he had to see her. on his birthday. as they sent kids to die. every. single. year. how much he must have hated how much he liked her
