Tumblr just censored one of my Sam and Max art pieces even though it’s just a silly joke. Pretty sure Sam and Max themselves wouldn’t be too happy about a situation like this either. They’d probably do unspeakable things to the narc that did it in the first place.
I haven’t drawn Bandit yet, so I knew I had to change that! And him in the Santa suit felt like a good choice for this time of year!

I just want to remind everyone how affordable buying food from indigenous tribes is. I live in a major city and I was able to purchase and ship (15) pounds of fish from back home to myself for cheaper than I could buy it from a grocery store here in the city. Yeah, shipping has its own environmental factors but I was able to support an indigenous owned business while also getting my groceries at a lesser cost. (Buying in bulk is always a good idea if you’re planning on having something shipped to you)

Voice Actors Aren’t Rich
Did you know that the average voice actor only makes about $31,400 a year? That’s around $1,500 less than the US median for individuals. When John DiMaggio says he thinks all voice actors should be paid more, he’s not just a millionaire out to get more millions. He’s someone who can afford to risk passing up a contract fighting to raise the wages of those who can’t afford to. He’s absolutely right when he says that VAs are treated and paid like shit and he’s absolutely right to draw attention to the issue.
Disney knew what they were doing.
I’m sure at least SOME artist on a site like this can relate to! Honestly I don’t have a problem with shipping unless it REALLY goes to far. Like straight up illegal stuff. But yeah, other than that, a lot of anti-ship stuff is just another instance of thinly veiled homophobia just like being anti-furry.

Well since my last fan art of Bender from Futurama got a lot of attention, this idea was too good to NOT draw out! Oh, and if you’re wondering, the original joke is from a video game known as “Sam and Max: Save the World.” Aka a game part of another franchise I love!
