I'm (sadly) an American citizen, which means that throughout my kindergarten (and possibly first and second, but certainly not third, fourth, and all after) year, every morning, we would do the Pledge of Allegiance. This was very normal for me in my early school years, except some very odd things I just learned today.
I'm currently being online schooled, I was in my history class and the topic of religion in schools came up. From what we were told, most private school are allowed to do religious practices, such as praying, public schools are not. It then got me thinking, if public schools aren't allowed to do religious practices, why is God even mentioned in the Pledge of Allegiance?
I never even remembered the damn thing until today, and it was so random. I was curious though, so I asked my teacher. She told us that the Pledge of Allegiance never had anything to do with God up until it was added in during The Red Scare. She even said that yes, most if not all, schools do the Pledge, but they allow people to not participate, whether it was because of the God part or not...
We were never allowed to not participate in the Pledge of Allegiance.
It got me thinking deeper. How many people have to stand and do that shit who are extremely uncomfortable with it? In fact, I had a friend in kindergarten who had recently came in from China, none of us understood religion at all at the time sure, but that means none of us were aligned by a religion, unless we were forced into church by parents. Besides, this friend was Chinese, why should she have to do the Pledge, it's not her native home and she was too young to fully understand that she even moved so far from home.
What about my Native American friend? Sure, I knew her when we didn't do the Pledge, but if she was moving public schools due to doster families, she surely would have done them at some point. Why should she have had to do it? She didn't know anything of God as far as I'm aware, not to mention that she's Native American, she has no reason to respect this place, because whites took the land from the Native Americans. So, was she too forced to participate?
The mere thought of this kind of things feels unconstitutional, to be honest. After all, that's forcing a belief unto an knowing victim who's too young to even understand half the words in the Pledge and is even removing free will, because if a kid doesn't want to participate, they shouldn't have too, but my school didn't give us a choice... it just feels very, very wrong.

i’ve been putting this post off the longest, because i know people have extremely strong opinions on this, and sure, maybe i’m wrong, or this really is an opinion, but i want to talk about it, because it’s so uncomfortable seeing references to it.
If you haven’t read the Karlnap “Monster Ultra” fanfic, 1. disregard this post. 2. DO NOT READ IT OR SUPPORT IT. I’ll explain why.
AGAIN: Take this with a grain of salt, because I could be wrong, this could also technically be an opinion, I’m not here to argue, but I do want to bring this to attention.
With that said, TRIGGER WARNING! This post will contain mentions of rxpe and NSFW/smut, so read with caution!!
For some context before I start (in case it’s needed), my friend was the one to read it first, and bring to my attention that she felt really uncomfortable reading it. I told her we suffer together, so she linked it. And my words, “it cant be that bad”...
This fanfiction... “Monster Ultra”, Karlnap smutshot, is not okay. There is extremely clear depictions of rxpe, at the very least, it was borderline rxpe. There are moments where Karl literally begs Sapnap to stop, but he didn’t listen and didn’t care, refusing to stop unless Karl used a safeword or the color system.
Sure, Karl never actually says the safeword or color system, but how could he? Imagine you’re being forced into something you don’t want to do (even if it’s sfw, doesnt matter), and you keep saying no, but they don’t listen unless you say something specific. You’d likely be nervous about actually saying that thing, because you’d be thinking about what that person would think about you, how they would react, especially in manipulative, toxic relationships. So, Karl probably did want to say something, but was afraid of what Sapnap would think, or even what Sapnap would treat him for it after.
Sure, it’s said and shows that Karl still enjoyed it, but think about it realistically; If someone sexual assaults you, you dont enjoy it in the moment, they go to prison, but later, you change your mind and say you enjoyed it... do you think that your assaulter would just be let free? No. That’s why there’s still a very obvious problem here.
Aside from the rxpe... KARL IS NOT OKAY WITH NSFW. He has said himself that he doesn’t want ANY NSFW fanfics about him at all, because he is on the asexual spectrum.

For context: I haven't read FF1970, mostly because I'm not quite ready for the sad ending, but I do know the ending nonetheless. I want to read it and I know I should, but I'm deeply afraid to start it because I know what will happen...

It literally isn't, some of this community is so gullible to believe some shit rumors with barely any genuine evidence. It happens all the time, and Dream has all the right to say we're gullible. Sure, it's a little rude, but if it's ignored, will it change? No, it won't. Welcome to the world, sometimes you have to be honest with people so they understand what they're doing wrong.
They continued on talking about Dream and his family apparently being doxxed and getting their address leaked? (again, no proof to that) But the thing is, is Dream should be able to fucking trust his community. He should be able to trust that we know the difference between lies and truth, he should be able to trust us when he opened up about his past.

So, get this: Old USA hated immigrants, but the reason they kept coming to USA, is because the USA kept telling people about how great they are. c!Tubbo had an argument with his husband, and he broke down when Ranboo snapped at him, and he realized that Ranboo wasn't going to listen to him. He risked his life to save that horse, he was stood for probably the whole night and morning, fearing that one wrong move would kill him in a similar way to his first death. He relived the trauma of being stuck in one spot, moments away from being blown up. Then Ranboo switched places with him, so he not only had to LISTEN and be close to explosions (which would obviously cause some emotional and mental damage because of his PTSD), AND watch his husband die.
Then one day, everything's fine until Technoblade, an anarchist, someone who destroyed Tubbo's country, and killed him, comes to him to say that his husband dead, but then find out that his son is missing.
He reasonably tries to take out this stress on Eret at first, but then they realize Eret is on their side, and Tubbo takes it out on Sam, who kidnapped his child and didn't even tell Eret WHERE he brought him. They find Sam, he understandably takes his stress out on Sam and locks him in his own prison. He's pissed, with all the good reasons to be.
They retrieve Michael but Tubbo can't even continue to stay with him because there is no room with Phil, Techno, and Ghostboo. Not to even mention that Tubbo and Michael meet Ghostboo for the first time. We don't even know if Ghostboo actually remembered Michael and cares about him, because maybe Ghostboo doesn't care and just acts like he does because deep down he fears some sort of rejection for it. (but that's only a guess) You'd expect Tubbo to be a bit happy that Ranboo is okay and happy, but he's near silent. He barely says a word to Ghostboo. In that moment, he is literally shutting down. He either can't process it, or it hurts him so much that he can barely even speak.
Now add this all on with the fact that he has so much trauma from c!Dream and his manipulation and abuse, fearing that his best friend killed himself, taking care of a nation that was so very broken, and all of that happening when he was a teenager. He has so much trauma, but he never got treatment, and he still doesn't get treatment, despite obvious signs of still suffering from PTSD. (and a personal note, c!Tubbo gives nuerodivergent vibes, but like I said, that's something I feel, so not everyone will agree on it, but I figured I'd add it, just in case)
And yet there are still people who turn their eyes on c!Tubbo and/or say he's perfectly fine, or they don't even include him. We just don't talk about c!Tubbo enough.
i saw someone upset about how when c!Dream was in prison, no one cared about his crimes and still were like apologizing for him and saying that he should be free and what not (which, we call those people "dream apologists" obviously), but when c!Sam is thrown in, everyone kinda went "oh yeah he fucking sucks"...
That's sort of the point... yeah, Dream's character is considerably easy to hate because of what bad things he has done, but there are still ways to love his character. Of course, not all of us understand these ways, but that doesn't mean we should hate on people for seeing those ways. Meanwhile, Sam's character is lowkey MEANT to be hated. His character isn't meant to be likable. He is meant to be a bad person (in character ofc), we are meant to recognize his bad doings. Hence why there's such a big difference between reactions of them being jailed.
Yeah, sure, it's weird why people still defend c!Dream after all of his crimes, and yes, he should certainly be held accountable for what he did, but it's very important to remember that Dream has a large portion of following that are very extreme when it comes to simping, he has such a large portion because he has so many fans and subscribers. Sam doesn't have as big of a following (sadly) and has less simps because of this, and yeah, it is still definitely unfair, but that is just how it is, and that's probably the reason that people defend c!Dream.
c!Dream shouldn't be defended for his crimes at all, but neither should c!Sam. In the end, they both did really shitty things, but they're characters. They are not real. They both deserved to stay locked up, but that doesn't seem to be how the story goes.
Most of our fandom are still young, immature and don't have good judgment like older fans, so you can't just yell at them because of that, they need to be educated on it instead of being yelled at for why their opinion is wrong, and that's not even exclusive to this fandom, or any fandom at all, that applies to everything. (Meaning, no matter the circumstance, no one should be scolded or hated on for opinions, if they're opinion goes against fact, though, they should be educated on it, not yelled at.)

I've heard older generations saying "Gen Z and every generation after is shit because they're insensitive and sensitive at the same time".
My argument on this is, 1. when you treat Gen Z badly, they'll treat you badly too. We grew up always taught "the golden rule", and that's "treat people how you want to be treated", so when other generations above Gen Z, treat them like shit, they get that same treatment, because if you can't respect us, we won't respect you. That's so simple, it's not hard to understand.

So today I bring forward a connection, that might take some thought and I'm in class while writing this so I can't look into much evidence right now except for what I know for sure.
Techno's voices could be coming from the Egg. Before you tell me off, I know, I know that Techno's chat is canon by being voices in his head, but if you look at the DSMP as a folktale, a book, a movie, or anything except some streamers just having fun, it wouldn't logically make sense. (So, I guess take this with a grain of salt called "In a different context")
I want to start with Techno's eyes, which everyone has accepted him having red eyes. (And I've searched, but I haven't found any confirmation for Techno's eyes being red, so if anyone has proof to it please send it to me!) The egg is associated with the color red, though since it's only color association, it's not a firm connection, but it's there for interpretation.
The Egg has always been there, we know this from Tales of The SMP, the episode we have this info from is The Masquerade. It only took a while for the Egg to be found, which means there's a chance it could have been corrupting people for a while. So, it could have been with Techno the whole time.
Next is, Technoblade is the Blood God. Known for spilling blood, for killing, and for being violent. The Egg has "blood vines", it's known for using death as an.. energizer? Well, it for sure "feeds" on death, which means it's got violent tendencies, but the Egg needs people to do the bidding for it, because it has no limbs and can't move.
And we already know the Egg has corrupted Bad, and Bad willingly got Foolish killed at the Red Banquet, which means the Egg is technically using Bad to kill, to be violent. So, maybe the Egg has a lower corruption with Techno, but is still connected enough to tell him to do bad things..
But like I said before, take this with a grain of salt because it's more of an idea than a theory, I'm certainly not saying it's canon and it's probably just weird connections my brain made, but take it anyway
For years have I wondered if the game was real or not, and I'm still unsure if it is, so I thought I'd come here, in hopes I'm not the only person thinking about this game.
The game is certainly not Minecraft and I have large reason to believe that it's not Castle Miner; That reason is simply because of online play and the fact that you're able to carry weapons (like guns) and there are all sorts of monsters, like dragons and zombies.
The game I remember had many different blocks than Minecraft, it had realistic textures on every block, and there was never any sort of animals or other creatures around, but sadly that is the most I can remember.
If it helps any, I grew up on Xboxes, we had the original Xbox, Xbox 360, and the Xbox 1, no Playstations, so any Playstation exclusive games are out of the question.

I cannot explain how much I already love my work and am proud of it, I’ve never even been the type to share my works the way I am right now, but I feel compelled to share it, so I hope, to anyone coming across this and is taking a chance to give it a shot, I hope you enjoy my story!
A huge thing to add: UNDERTALE PEASANT!
Undertale Peasant was the voice actor who had introduced me to PJ’s Daycare when I was younger, and yes, I am fully aware that they discontinued the voice acting because of death threats to continue, and while death threats are never an okay thing to give, shame on Undertale Peasant for SUPPORTING PJ’s Daycare and all the bullshit that Rouge put in there! If you are ANY KIND of content creator, yes, you make mistakes, but take Undertale Peasant as an example of an extreme mistake, that could be irreversible.
My reasoning: People that watch the movie of PJ’s Daycare, voiced by Undertale Peasant mind you, are often YOUNG and IMPRESSIONABLE. Which means, when you post something that shows all that bullshit, then you are telling them it is OKAY to do that, even though it is not and never will be. Some kids may take it to the worst case and end up as a terrible person later in life all because they were shown that those bad things are okay.
Granted, kids shouldn’t be on the internet, but it can’t always be controlled, which is why people need to be safer about what they are saying and putting out there.

Ink is MAJOR OOC. Seriously... "Suddenly grows up to be an adult". -_- PJ LITERALLY SAYS THAT ANONS ARE ENCOURAGING IT- PEOPLE LIGET PROTECTING FRESH ABOUT HIM CRYING ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO MARRY NOT ONLY HIS NEPHEW BUT HIS FUCKING BABYSITTER AND AN ADULLLLLT- Fresh is also VERY OOC, as well as PJ.
