@pinewhisky hello! This isnt my main so i have to ss to answer replies but she actually already tried.
They said because he did not threaten her and because none of this is happening at work, they cant fire him or really much of anything.
It also dosent help that most of the crazy convo happened on snapchat so alot of the conversation is gone beyond a couple of crazy ss.
Anyone wanna help?
To keep it brief, my gf was inadvertently pushed into a friendship with a guy(new coworker) who claims to be extremely powerful and work with lots of norse and greek gods.
He has overwhelmed her and tried to plant seeds of doubt in her about me being truthful to her in less than a day of knowing each other. His energy dosent have any apparent evilness but he tried to say it was my main goddess, hera, that told him i was untrustworthy despite hera telling me he was not speaking to her.
He did multiple tarot readings and pendulums on her without her consent and despite the fact he says hes primarily a norse god devotee, that he knows hera better than me. Hes angry constantly, yells and swears all the time and shes uncomfortable, not to mention he pried to learn her trauma the same night he did those unconsented readings. He also said " you can choose not to tell me your trauma but if i really wanna know, i can always find out through readings and my gods but i wont cause i respect you" aka super manipulative, controlling and abusive behavior super quickly.
He also vented to her (unsolicitedly) that one of his exes was lieing about him r*peing her and showed her that he was makeing fake accounts on different social medias to harass this girl. He also has the biggest witch ego ive ever seen and has the worst main character syndrome ever. He says very untrue things that have been proven wrong, that he might as well be a god himself, that he's being hunted by every cryptid imaginable and works with very common and popular gods as well as ones that hate each other and he dosent seem to even be able to set boundaries with them. I mean, the man says hes the highest ranking kind of angel while also working with multiple evil deities including multiple incarnations of satan himself. Not to mention hes very much insulted native beings and pretend sk*nw*lkers and w*nd*gos are the same things as say, mothman.
In the end, wether what hes doing is true or not, my gf is drained and anxious of him to the point where she veils all the time( she never used to veil before) and has panic attacks. Shes overwhelmed and unhappy.
What im asking is, if this guy is as powerful as he says and is as dangerous as he says he is(he says he cant hex people cause its killed them before and hes " too powerful" and " too emotional" that his power wouldnt smack someone on the wrist but instead maim them.), what can we do to protect ourselves/home/animals/lives from him? She wants to cut contact and protect herself but shes scared he wont ever leave her alone because of how much he dumped on her.
I need spells, i need wards, i need sigils and i need something if, should he attempt to hex her/us that he'd regret it. I need help and i need it asap.
If you cant offer help, please offer energy to go into the spells/wards/etc to protect us. We are very scared and neither of us are in as deep as him. Im barely out of baby witch territory and shes just entering it.
I spent a good chunk of today reacquainting myself with Witchblr.
It feels like a pale imitation of itself compared to my last visit, and Iâm not sure why. Is it because Iâve changed? Or did these last couple of years just wreck everything and everyone in their path?
Or is the Great TikTok Migration to blame?
Oh, well. I guess Iâll stick around and see what happens. Maybe after some extended digging, Iâll find worthwhile treasuresâŚ

Spirit contracts are formal agreements between a practitioner and spirits to get certain results in exchange for offerings. Contracts are best when something has multiple components that should play out a certain way to meet the goal the best, succeed in succession, or where there are multiple highly related requests. Theyâre unnecessary for simple goals, or to successfully complete just one part of a process.
For an example of a type of situation that warrants a good contract: letâs say you want to get a boyfriend/girlfriend. Well first you have to put yourself out there, if you arenât already. And you have to make sure that youâre getting out at the right places: youâre more likely to score a date at a bar or classes than a grocery store! Then you must attract or meet the right people, and dissuade those you arenât compatible with. After that you have to succeed on several dates. Â So in this process, there are several components that must go right in succession.
On the other hand, if your goal is simply to âattract loveâ, then a spell or a simple offering to a spirit would be best. It is too broad and unfocused for a contract; there are many ways that attracting love can manifest.
Writing spirit contracts is timely, but relatively simple. Like a real contract, a spirit contract should have these basic components:
Who
Terms
Reward
Timelines
Signature
Writing a contract is beneficial to both the practitioner and spirit. For the practitioner, it can help you to solidify and focus on what, and how many things, should go right, and in what way is ârightâ, for you to manifest a long-term goal. For the spirit, it helps to clarify exactly where they should come in. It tells them what factors are out of the practitionerâs direct control, or where the practitioner has weak control.
Contracts should only be with spirits you trust: to not to harm you, and to actually manifest results.
There is no point in going through the effort of making such a lengthy and specific deal if you cannot trust the other spirit to not twist your words, and to actually bring the goals to fruition. If you have never been able to manifest a goal with clear communication of deadlines and ability limitations with the spirit you have in mind, then look to another. Itâs better to hear âthat is beyond my capabilitiesâ than âwaitâ and âwaitâŚââŚbut the goal never happens, or happens several years later when that length of time isnât warranted. This should be a spirit that you have a practical working partnership with, not simply friendship.
Additionally this needs to be a spirit you can communicate with, clearly, directly, and truthfully. This should not be a spirit that:
You hesitate to question, such as a god or goddess
You cannot contact frequently
You struggle to communicate with clearly, whether it be through clairaudience or some form of divination
This should be a spirit that you can call up frequently to ask questions, check on progress, or provide information on what you have done on your side to bring the goal to fruition.
The contracts can be as formal or informal as you wish them, as long as the above components are included. Therefore, using first or third person to refer to yourself is up to you. But if you really want to be particular or formal, go with third.
Now, for more detail on each component of the contract:
A contract needs to list who both sides are. List yourself first. Whether you use your magical name or real name, or any other name or nickname to identify yourself is up to you.
My name is X, I am the requestor of this contract.
Then list your spirit(s). It is best to be as specific as possible, including their ranking or title if they have any.
For this contract, I am asking for the assistance of Librarian Spirit Y, who resides in the Library of Woah.
List your goals, ideal or possible methods of achieving them, and actions, events, or methods that should be avoided. It should be clear where the spirit should interfere, boost, or otherwise aid with their magical abilities. It may help to say where the spirit can use their own best judgement, though thatâs not always necessary to include. It is beneficial to also include what you are doing on your side to try and bring the goal to fruition.
This can be in paragraph form, List form, or a mixture. Whatever you are comfortable with.
Example of Paragraph Form:
I am trying to study well to pass my Biological exam with an A. However, I struggle to focus due to the noise level of the library, and I am not certain what to study. Straight memorization is also not a strong suit of mine. I ask that you kindly aid in controlling the noise level in the library, whether it be by quieting other students or helping me to find a quiet study location, or other means. Please guide me to figure out what to study, by helping me figure out who I should talk to (How should I approach the teacher/TA? What classmates of mine know what theyâre doing? Which tutors would be best for me?). And please use your magical abilities to boost my capacities for memorization as well.
List Form:
Goal: Study well to pass Biological exam with an A
Issues/Where Aid is Needed:
Control level of noise in the library, particularly where I study
Guidance on what to study; and who to ask about that
Boost my memorization capabilities
What I am doing on my side:
Studying for 1 hour daily, from 7-8 PM
Exploring the library more to see if there are other, less-popular areas Iâm not aware of
Asking my older friends whoâve taken this class before what the exam was like
The purpose of rewards is to motivate the spirit to complete the task(s) successfully, of course. The reward should be an offering of some sort; whether it be at traditional offerings such as food or incense, or a service such as picking up litter.
For multi-part tasks, or tasks where partial completion is possible, I suggest having partial rewards. As the name states, it wonât be the same as a full reward; it will only be part of the reward, or an offering that is not as valuable to the spirit.
Example:
Bio is my weakest subject, so I usually get Câs on them. So rewards are as thus:
Full Reward: I receive an A on my bio exam
I will clean up some of the grafitti in the bathrooms I can access (ones made with permanent marker, pen, or pencil)
I will leave offerings of coffee and tea in my dorm room, daily, for one week
Partial Reward: I receive a B on my bio exam
I will clean up some of the grafitti in the bathrooms I can access (ones made with permanent marker, pen, or pencil)
No Reward: I receive a C or lower on my bio exam
All contracts need to have a timeline. This lets both sides know how long they are bound by the terms.
Consider the following:
Is there a specific deadline to your goal? âThe exam is on March 31st.â
Is there a timeframe? âIf you qualify for an interview, we will call you within the next two weeks.â
Or will it be a renewing, long-term service? âI seek your protection for a full year. This contract will renew each year on the Spring Equinox.â
First you must confirm with the spirit if they agree to the terms of the contract. This can be done by simply speaking with the spirit via clairaudience, or may be confirmed via divination.
Once both parties agree to the terms, both will sign it. On the practitionerâs side thatâs easy, simply sign your name on the contract, or with a seal that represents you. For the spirit to sign is a bit trickier. If the spirits have their own seals or sigils, such as the demons from the Ars Goetia, then place that on the contract. If not, then ask the spirit if they have a signature of their own to use; whether it be a sigil or an actual signed name, and use that. Or, do automatic writing, with your hand guided by the spirit, to sign the contract on their behalf.
The above was just writing the contract, here is how itâll play out
You write your side of the contract, as much as possible
Summon the spirit, present the contract and discuss it. Ask if there are any changes it would like
Confirm and agree the contract with the spirit, and sign it.
Once the contract has begun, communicate with the spirit on the regular. Progress checks and informing of issues should be done on both sides. For example, if you have a yearly contract for protection, check in on a regular basis to ask if there has been any suspicious activity that has gone unnoticed by you.
When the contract has been completed, partially completed, or the deadline has passed, discuss the contract once more. What went wrong/right, and what rewards are justified?
Contracts are a useful tool that can help spirit workers to list and achieve what they aim in life, while building a practical and fulfilling relationship with the spirits they work with.
Loooove this idea!!
Like herbs, oils, and crystals, you donât need to work with magical timing for your spell to be successful. You can cast a spell at any time, no matter your intention, and get your desired results. However, working with the energy of the sun, moon, and days of the week can add an extra power boost to your magic.
Think of it this way: certain energies are dominant at certain times. Those energies are easier to connect with because they are closer at hand, so to speak, so you can bring them into your life and your spells more easily and in a more powerful way. That doesnât mean you canât call on other energies during these times â it just means that you may not connect to them quite so easily.
If you choose to work with magical timing in your spells, there are several yearly, monthly, weekly, and even daily cycles you can align your spells with.
These are the turning points that mark the solar year, and are associated with the relationships between day and night, light and dark, summer and winter. Each solstice or equinox marks the end of one season and the beginning for the next. Because they are so rare and so potent, these days are a great time for your âbig pictureâ spells or for spells that need a big power boost.
Winter Solstice. The winter solstice marks the shortest day and longest night of the year, and falls between December 20 and December 23, depending on the year. In some pagan traditions the winter solstice, or Yule, marks the beginning of the new year â you may choose to set intentions for the coming year on this solstice. After the winter solstice, the nights start getting shorter and the days start getting longer â so spells related to healing and bringing things into the light are especially effective at this time of year. The winter solstice marks the end of the âdark halfâ of the year and beginning of the âlight halfâ of the year; at this point, our focus turns from inward reflection to outward manifestation. You may choose to think of the time between the winter solstice and spring equinox as a âplanning phase,â where you examine yourself and your desires, decide what you want to work on in the next year, and make plans for manifesting what you want.
Spring Equinox. An equinox occurs when the day and the night are exactly the same length, representing a perfect balance between light and dark. The spring equinox marks the beginning of spring and occurs between March 19 and March 22. The Christian holiday of Easter and the pagan holiday of Ostara are both related to the energy of this equinox. At this time of year, the natural world is coming back to life as winter begins to fade. Plants are beginning to grow, and baby animals are being born. This is a powerful time of year for fertility magic and any magic related to new beginnings. You may choose to think of the time between the spring equinox and the summer solstice as a âplanting phase,â where you âplant the seedâ of the things you want to manifest and begin doing the work to make it happen.
Summer Solstice. This solstice marks the longest day and shortest night of the year. It occurs between June 19 and June 23. As I am writing this post, we are coming up on the summer solstice (June 20, 2020). Life, fertility, and growth are at their peak during this time of year, which makes this solstice a perfect time for big manifestation spells. At the same time, this marks the end of the âlight halfâ and beginning of the âdark halfâ of the year, so after the summer solstice our energy shifts from outward manifestation to inward contemplation. You may choose to think of the time between the summer solstice and fall equinox as the âharvest phase,â where you reap the results of your hard work and manifest your desires in the physical world.
Autumn Equinox. This is the other time of year when the day and night are perfectly balanced. The autumn equinox occurs between September 19 and September 23 and marks the beginning of autumn. This is traditionally the time of year when crops are harvested, and many pagan groups celebrate harvest festivals around this time. Nature is beginning to die or go into hibernation in preparation for the coming winter. This is an especially powerful time of year for shadow work or for magic related to endings and transitions. You may choose to think of the time between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice as the âreflection phase,â when you retreat from the outside world to rest, focus on yourself, and do your inner work and self-healing.
Important Note: This post lists dates for the solstices and equinoxes in the Northern hemisphere. In the Southern hemisphere, the seasons are reversed. If you live in the Southern hemisphere, you would observe the winter solstice in June, the spring equinox in September, the summer solstice in December, and the fall equinox in March.
If you donât have time to wait for the appropriate solstice or equinox, you can still connect with the cosmos in your magic. One of the biggest pros of the lunar cycle is that it happens roughly every month â so you never have to wait very long for the next full moon. The moon is also associated with magic and spirituality in several traditions, which makes it an especially powerful astral ally for witches.
New Moon. The new moon is when the moon is completely invisible in the night sky, and is the phase opposite the full moon. The new moon is a powerful time for shadow work (because it deals with things that are hidden) and for magic related to new beginnings.
Waxing Moon. The moon is waxing when it appears to be growing in the night sky; this is the phase between the new moon and full moon. This is a powerful time for any magic that deals with drawing something in, building something up, or strengthening something that already exists.
Full Moon. Many witches believe that the full moon is the most powerful time of month for any kind of magic. This is a good time to cast any spell that needs a serious power boost. The full moon is also an especially powerful time to release what no longer serves you or to work healing magic.
Waning Moon. The moon is waning when it appears to be shrinking in the night sky; this is the phase between the full moon and new moon. This is a powerful time for any magic that deals with sending something away, banishing negative energy, or bringing something to an end.
Dark Moon. The dark moon is the three day period immediately before the new moon. In some traditions, it is believed to be bad luck to cast spells during the dark moon. Other traditions hold that the dark moon is the best point in the lunar cycle for destructive magic, such as curses and hexes. Many modern witches donât recognize the dark moon as a separate moon phase at all. I personally like to use the dark moon as a time for self reflection, and may focus on shadow work during this time.
The days of the week also have their own unique magical energies, and each day is linked to a certain planet and to certain deities.
Sunday. Sunday is, of course, connected to the Sun and solar deities. Sunday is the best day of the week for any manifestation magic that needs an extra boost. Its energy is also associated with healing, personal growth, power, and success.
Monday. Monday is associated with the Moon and lunar deities. Monday is a quiet, introspective day, and can feel very ethereal. Itâs the best day for magic related to intuition, nurturing, and shadow work.
Tuesday. Tuesday is associated with Mars and with gods and goddesses of war and action. (It is named for the Norse/Germanic god Tyr/Tiw.) Tuesday is a very âactiveâ day, and is good for magic related to action, activism, victory, or finding courage.
Wednesday. Wednesday is associated with Mercury and with gods and goddesses of wisdom, learning, and communication. (It is named for the Norse/Germanic god Odin/Wodan.) Wednesday is all about mental activity. Itâs the best day of the week for magic related to thought, travel, communication (written, spoken, or digital), and learning/study.
Thursday. Thursday is associated with Jupiter and with gods and goddesses of prosperity, wealth, and protection. (It is named after the Norse/Germanic god Thor.) Thursday, like Jupiter in astrology, is all about outward expansion. Itâs the best day of the week for magic related to career, prosperity, and wealth.
Friday. Friday is associated with Venus and with gods and goddesses of love, fertility, and sensuality. (It is named after the Norse goddess Freyja, or perhaps the goddess Frigg.) The energy of Friday is fun, lighthearted, and sexy. Itâs the best day of the week for magic related to love, beauty, and sex/sexuality.
Saturday. Saturday is associated with Saturn and with time and wisdom. (The day and the planet are both named after the Roman god Saturn.) Saturday is practical and wise, but it does have a little bit of a dark side. Itâs the best day of the week for magic related to banishing and protection.
Okay, so youâd like to start working with magical timing, but what about emergency magic and last-minute spells? What if you donât have time to wait for the next full moon, or even the next Sunday? You can still align your spell with magical timing! There are several moments of power each day, and each has its own magical associations.
Sunrise. Sunrise is, of course, the birth of the new day. This makes it the perfect time for spells related to new beginnings or expanded possibilities.
Noon. This is the peak or high point of the day. This is a powerful time for healing magic.
Sunset. Sunset is the end of the day, and forms a gateway between light and dark. This is a great time for spells related to accepting endings, releasing that which does not serve, and moving on from the past.
Midnight. If noon is the peak of the day, then midnight is the peak of the night. Midnight has a very ethereal, transformational energy. Like with the full moon, some witches believe that any spell will be more powerful if cast at midnight. This is a powerful time for both banishing and attraction magic.

Gonna write a witchcraft book titled âAnother Book on Witchcraft: Everybodyâs Doing It and I Want to Feel Includedâ
A curse for someone who likes to aggressively shove their opinions in others faces.
What you need:
- an apple or lemon
- pins
- cayenne or chili powder
- black salt
- a taglock, or a paper with the targetâs name on it
- a black candle
Light your candle, you want it to melt a little so you can use the wax. Cut your apple or lemon into wedges. They look like little smiles donât they? Good, youâll need two of the wedges. Take the taglock or paper and push it into the wedge, letting the juice soak it.
Say, âyour vicious words will sour on your tongueâ.
Sprinkle the cayenne over the wedge and taglock. Say, âyour mouth will burn more with each harsh word until you cannot bear itâ.
Sprinkle the black salt over the wedge and taglock. Say âyour throat will dry until you choke on each cruel wordâ.
Now take your second wedge and place it atop the taglock and spices. Carefully stick your pins into the wedges, making sure at least one goes through where the taglock is. Imagine the targetâs mouth being clamped shut, unable to spew their vitriol. Lastly, carefully pour wax from your candle over the seams where the wedges meet (blow the flame out first!) and store it in a plastic bag in a dark place.
To break the curse, cut the wax and carefully un-pin the fruit, taking the wedges apart and bury it away from your property.
This hex is a long-term one, meant to gradually chip away at your targetâs vitality, good fortune and prosperity. And itâs very simple. Feed them to the crows.
If you have a local murder of crows that hang around, you can very easily befriend them with some food. (Try not to do this in an outdoor gathering space, like a park, board walk or a picnic area, where the crows will become a nuisance to the locals, itâs rude).Â
Take a bag of bird feed, or any bird safe food, such as:
Eggs and their shells
Unsalted nuts
Seeds
Fruits
Vegetables
Chicken
Write the name of your target on the bag, imagine that the food holds the essence of the person you wish to drain. Now, whenever you take food from the bag, visualize yourself taking away the power of your target.
Throw the food to the crows, and ask that they carry your targetâs gifts and happiness away as they eat.
Repeat every day or as often as you can until you are satisfied with your targetâs demise. And be sure to thank the crows for their service.
Because this yearâs Yule fire is a funeral pyre. Burn it down.
This is a bundle of herbs similar to what youâd normally use for smoke cleansing, only instead of lighting the end, this one is tossed into your Yule Fire.
If you donât have the ability to have a fire large enough to toss herbs into, you can instead make this into and infused oil to anoint a Yule candle with or whatever you may use to represent the burning of the past year. ***
Gather:
đĽ Something that represents what you want to burn down and leave behind in the dark. It could be anything from a piece of paper with things written on it, to a cord with knots tied in it each representing a different thing to burn, or a tarot card that represents what youâre moving on from (though keep in mind, whatever you use will be destroyed in the fire.) đĽ Pine or fir boughs. Enough to suite the size of your fire. I usually use 6-8" pieces for a campfire. Or, if youâre making this into an anointing oil, enough needles to fill your jar halfway. đĽ Hawthorn thorns. For heart protection. Any funeral pyre brings grief, regardless of whatâs burning down. Protect your heart and keep your boundaries with thorns enough to lay throughout your bundle. đĽ Rosemary Sprigs. Banishing, cleansing, clearing the mind. đĽ Cinnamon stick(s) - banishing but also sweetening the energy, softening the blow. đĽ Black Candle đĽ Natural cord of some sort, twine, cotton cord or hemp.
- Light your candle and do whatever ritual openings you usually do.
- Lay your thing to burn down, evergreen boughs, rosemary sprigs, and cinnamon stick(s,) out so that theyâre in a âlogâ or bundle shape that you could get your hands around tightly to bind it up with a cord.
- Start by tying the cord around one end and then slowly and snugly wrap the cord around the bundle working from one end to the other and back. You can tie knots along the way to help keep it securely bound together. As you wrap the cord around, every so often lay a hawthorn thorn into the bundle, careful to place them in a way that you wonât prick your hands.
- After itâs all bound and finished, drip wax from the black candle all over the bundle. Caution of the hot wax on your skin though, unless thatâs your kind of thing.
- Then at whatever point in your Yule fire ritual itâs appropriate, toss in the bundle and watch it burn.
- Alternatively, if youâre making an infused oil, itâs best to dry your plant material first to avoid mold growth in your finished oil. Â Cinnamon is a possible skin irritant so if you plan on using this anointing oil on your skin, either do a test patch first, or skip the cinnamon stick. Steep the herbs in enough apricot kernel oil (or other carrier oil) to cover the plant material by an inch or so for 4-6 weeks, then strain out the plant material, and you have a shelf-stable anointing oil for candles or your body (external use only.) Apricot kernel oil will go rancid in about a year, so only make as much as youâll use up! You can further preserve your oil with vitamin e or other skin-safe preservative. Use this to dress your yule candle and witch it burn all the way down.
- You could also grind the herbal ingredients, along with the ash from burning the âsomething that represents what you want to burn downâ in your yule fire, into a powder and use it as a powder if that suits your needs. Though evergreen needs are /very/ resinous, so if youâre using an herb grinder of any kind, keep in mind it will get sticky and is difficult to clean afterwards. Which is why I have one electric grinder for coffee, and one for medicinal/edible herbs, that way my coffee doesnât taste like pine in the morning.. though that doesnât sound terrible in all honesty.Â
*** Always practice fire safety! Know how to anoint candles with oil /safely/ and have a fire extinguisher near by because oil fires canât be put out with water. If youâre having an outdoor fire, make sure youâre following your regionâs bylaws and have water near by!

Samhain Factsâ¨đ
2020 is the first year since 2001 that we will have a full moon on Samhain. Before 2001, it was 1955!
Samhain is celebrated on the sunset of October 31st to the sunset of November 1st, almost halfway between the autumn equinoxes and the winter solstice.
Samhain is pronounced âSah-winâ or âSow-winâ and means âsummerâs endâ.
Some of Halloweenâs most common traditions are rooted in Samhainâs harvest festival roots, such as the carving of pumpkins and turnips, bobbing for apples, bonfires and dressing up.
Rituals surrounding Samhain include bonfires, healing, dancing, thanksgiving, and honouring of the dead.
During the pre-Halloween celebration of Samhain, bonfires were lit to ensure the sun would return after the long, hard winter. Often bones of cattle would be thrown into the flames and, hence, âbone fireâ became âbonfireâ.
Some celebrate Samhain with a ritual to guide the dead home by opening a western facing door or window and placing a candle in the opening.
It is considered a time when the veil between life and death grows thin. Food is set aside for ancestors and lost loved ones as gifts, and rituals honouring the dead take place.
