I hope..
I hope in every life I lead, my mother is still my mom.. I hope in every life, she's happy and thriving. I hope my sisters find their special ones, that they lead comfortable lives. I hope every child I meet faces nothing but joy, I hope the lives I learn of make it to old age, I hope that every good person sleeps in a warm bed, with a good meal, and happy dreams. I hope one day indigenous people are treated better. I hope we learn more of their stories in the future. I hope they return to their lands and show us how to care for it. I hope one day we look upon our ancestors and are proud to say we're genuinely learning from their mistakes. I hope the rapists cower, that racists become afraid again, that every single predator and groomer learns to fear their victims. But hope can only get so far, so I scream until I'm hoarse, pause for a drink, then scream again even louder until the messages are heard. Free Palestine, Free Congo, Free Sudan, Return the lands, Eat the rich, Fuck Racists, Fuck Zionists, Fuck Nazis, Fuck greedy capitalists and billionaires. Learn from history or be doomed to repeat it.

Happy 4th of July everyone! I’m sorry this is late, it was the middle of the night when I drew this. The neighbor’s kids were legit blowin’ up fireworks and fire crackers right by where I live, and oh boy, was it loud😂. I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Happy 4th of July everyone!🤠🇺🇸

Happy (Late) 4th of July!
(Sorry I forgot to post this on the actual 4th of July, I stayed up late doing firework junk and it completely slipped my mind.)
Happy 4th!!! I decided to bring my Polaroid to the parade instead of cluttering my phone with pictures and videos I'll never look at again, lol. I only had 5 so I had to make them count. Its was really fun watching the parade and taking pics. Also sketched out the little drawing on my way back home :)
Before we hit 4th of July...
Listen. I know our country is in shambles. Our culture has been torn apart. Our government is the enemy of the people. Our institutions are captured by ideologues. Our media and government have been lying to us since before any of us were born. The Constitution has been ripped to shreds. We have long since passed the point where others would have begun throwing tea in the harbor.
I am not proud of where our country is now. We are in decline. I fear for where we are headed.
Independence Day is not a celebration of our government or our leaders. It's also not a celebration of what our country is today. It's not even really a celebration of some long-gone glory days.
Independence Day is two things:
A reminder of what our country was intended to be, that we should not be complacent or satisfied with things as they are now.
A chance to be obnoxious and annoy non-Americans
So starting at about 11pm tonight I will continue my tradition of having scheduled posts publish every hour for the duration of Independence Day.
I don't want to hear all the edgy takes about how terrible our country is. I know. I'm aware. You're not being original. Being disillusioned doesn't make you cool. Just let me have this one day - and maybe let yourself have a little fun with being American.
