A/N: I AM SO SORRY!!! I was in Mexico for 2 weeks, very lovely, I’m taking driving lessons, absolutely terrible, and now I am crushing on Chris Evans so that fixation has taken over my tumblr feed. And now I’m watching Star vs. The Forces of Evil so now all of my Hispanic Y/Ns will have her personality
Most people believe that Nevermore Academy is the only school for supernatural children. However, there are schools around the world. Much like there’s Hogwarts and Ilvermorny, Nevermore is the American school, Wormwood is the UK school etc., and Belladonna is the Latin American school, the school where Y/N transferred from.
Y/N transferred from Belladonna 2 weeks ago and she was very good friends with Enid. Ajax has been crushing on her since she was introduced in botany class. Ever since that day, the little things Y/N did like talk to the animals that wander on campus made him like her more. He was now at a lunch table with Kent while he looks at Y/N who was sitting with Enid.
“Dude, you’re staring again.” Kent said as he ate his sandwich.
“Sorry.” Ajax said while eating his lunch.
“I’m telling you, it’s creepy. It’s been two weeks and all you do is stare at her. How about you ask her out? What’s the worst that can happen?” Kent asked.
“She rejects me, she laughs in my face, Enid records the rejection and posts it on her blog.” Ajax said.
“Nah, she’s too sweet to laugh in your face and let Enid film it.” Kent said.
“Either way, even if I did want to ask her out, I wouldn’t know how.” Ajax said. Kent was going to say something when Ajax saw Enid get up from her table with Y/N. “Enid, Enid, hold up!” Ajax said as he got up, following Enid.
“Hey Ajax, what did you want to talk about?” Enid asked.
“You’re good friends with Y/N, right?” Ajax asked.
“Yeah, I know her pretty well, why do you ask?” Enid asked.
“No reason. Does she have a boyfriend…or girlfriend back home?” Ajax asked.
“As far as I’m aware, she is very single. What’s with the questions? No way! You like Y/N, oh my gosh, this so perfect.” Enid said excitedly.
“Why is it perfect? Does she like me too?” Ajax asked.
“She thinks you’re cute.” Enid admitted.
“I Can work with that. So what does she like? I want to ask her out.” Ajax said.
“Ooh, we need to plan this, just let me talk to Y/N more, maybe I can get some…useful information, you know, help you out.” Enid said.
“Thanks, Enid! You’re the best” Ajax said, hugging her. He then went back to sit with Kent.
“Oh, i know.” Enid commented and she went to her dorm that she shares with Y/N. Enid was watching a movie on her laptop with Y/N came in. “Hey, where did you go?”
“Yoko needed help with some botany homework, you know, the one where you match the picture to the scientific names of the plants? Anyway, what you doing?” Y/N asked.
“Im watching 10 Things I Hate About You, such a great movie.” Enid said.
“I loved it when Patrick sang for Kat, so cute! I mean, it also helps that it was Heath Ledger.” Y/N said.
“Would you like someone to dedicate a song to you like that?” Enid asked.
“I don’t know, I think it depends on the person, you know.” Y/N commented.
“So that’s a definite maybe..” Enid mutters as she took note of it. “Since you grow and control plants, do you have a favorite flower?”
“I like peonies, I blame Gossip Girl though.” Y/N said and Enid made a note of it.
“I like peonies too. If someone were to ask you out, do you want it to be like this big thing or something small?” Enid asked.
“Something small is preferable.” Y/N said. They kept talking until Enid texted Ajax to meet her in the library, she had everything she needed.
“Im gonna go to the library to do some homework, I’ll be back in a few hours.” Enid said.
“What kind of homework are you doing? Maybe I can help.” Y/N said.
“It’s some dumb monster anatomy homework, you don’t take that class.” Enid said. She went to the library and found Ajax sitting at a table.
“Hey, so what dos you find out?” Ajax asked.
“She likes peonies, of you’re going to ask her out, make sure it’s like a small thing, maybe private, nothing too big. She’s a dessert person so maybe if you can like send her boxes of desserts everyday until the day you ask her out would be perfect! Like imagine, one day you send mini cupcakes, the next day a mini chocolate cheesecake, then brownies, then a small flan, and lastly you send a box of frosted cookies that spell out ‘will you go out with me?’ And you appear with a bouquet of peonies! That would be so cute!” Enid exclaimed as she grabbed Ajax by the shoulders and shook him with excitement.
“How many romance movies have you seen?” Ajax asked.
“I’ve seen a lot, not gonna lie. Now, how are you going to do this? Are you going to order from the bakery? Are you going to bake? Ooh, can I help you bake please?” Enid asked.
“Yeah sure, you can help me bake.” Ajax said and Enid squealed excitedly, hugging him.
“This is going to be ADORABLE, I’m so excited. I’m gonna start looking up recipes, I’ll send them to you so you can buy the ingredients.” Enid said.
“Why do I have to buy the ingredients?” Ajax asked and enid rolled her eyes.
“You have money, you’re asking her out, you’re paying. We’re baking Sunday night, I’m thinking chocolate cupcakes, we’re making our own frosting, everything has to be done from scratch, okay?” Enid said.
“Why scratch?” Ajax asked.
“It’s more romantic that Way, it says you put thought into it. Now I need to look up recipes on TikTok, I learn more visually.” Enid said as she left Ajax.
Ajax was in over his head. All of this for a girl who might say no. What if she thinks it’s too cheesy or if it doesn’t taste good?
Sunday night, Enid and Ajax were in the kitchen with flour on their faces and aprons.
“You set the timer, right?” Enid asked.
“Yeah i did, don’t worry.” Ajax said. When the timer went off, Ajax got the oven mitts that Enid brought and took the mini cupcakes out of the oven. He places it on the kitchen counter. “We gotta wait a little before tasting it but it looks pretty good, what do you think?” Ajax asked.
“It rose pretty well. Do you want to pipe on the frosting or do you want the cupcakes to have that flat look?” Enid asked as she showed Ajax the pictures as example.
“Piped, but not too high.” Ajax said, once the cupcakes cooled off, Ajax took one out of the pan and took a bite, “this is pretty good.” Ajax said and took another bite. Enid took another cupcake out of the pan and hit it.
“Ooh, the cupcake is kinda dense, it’s perfect for a chocolate cupcake! Now let’s see if the frosting we made is good too.” Enid grabbed a butter knife to smear the frosting on where she But it and finished off the cupcake. “It’s perfect!”
The two poured the frosting into a piping bag and began frosting the remainder cupcakes. Ajax puts the ones for Y/N in a box, in the fridge. The rest, Ajax and Enid split between them evenly, and they went to their rooms.
“What you got there?” Kent asked.
“You know, Enid and I were baking, don’t laugh, so I can ask out Y/N, now you can laugh.” Ajax said.
“I’m not gonna laugh, how douchey do you think I am? I think it’s kinda nice, how male wife of you,” Kent snickered.
“Ha ha, taste the cupcakes, I think they turned out pretty good.” Ajax gave Kent the container. Kent opened up the container and took a cupcake and tasted it.
“Very good, how are you planning to ask out Y/N anyway?” Kent asked, eating the cupcake.
“Enid came up with the plane, a week of dessert and the final one is frosted cookies with writing that spell out the sentence ‘will you go out with me’ and I appear with a bouquet of peonies.” Ajax stated.
“How many movies does Enid watch anyway?” Kent asked,
“Apparently a lot, but let’s see how it goes.” Ajax said.
Monday afternoon. Ajax made sure that Enid and Y/N were talking so he could have enough time to leave the cupcakes on her bed with a note. Enid texted Ajax that Y/N was coming so Ajax ran down the hall to hide. Y/N entered her room.
“Huh, what’s this?” Y/N asks herself as she opened the note. “‘You’re as sweet as the frosting i made, enjoy -A’ interesting.” Y/N said and she opened up the box and tasted the cupcake. “These are great, oh my gosh.” Ajax smiled when he heard that. He walked away and Enid entered the room.
“Ooh, where did you get the cupcakes?” Enid asked.
“Apparently they’re from a secret admirer. But I love these cupcakes.” Y/N said.
“That’s great.” Enid said.
So that’s how the week went, Ajax and Enid bake the night before and leave it in the fridge til it’s time to give Y/N the treat. Now that it’s Friday, enid had to keep Y/N in the room to give Ajax enough time to buy a bouquet of peonies despite them not being in season.
Ajax took the cookies out of his room and place them nicely in order with the bouquet in hand. He left the box on the floor and knocked on the door, running down the hall so Y/N doesn’t see him.
“Ooh, lets see what’s the dessert today.” Y/N said to herself as she opened the box. “‘Will you go out with me?’ Who sent this?” And Ajax appears in Y/N’s line of vision.
“I did” Ajax said and Y/N looked delightfully surprised.
“You bought all these postres?” Y/N asked.
“I actually made them. Enid helped.” Ajax admitted.
“That’s really sweet of you. Enid, you’re such a good friend.” Y/N said, looking behind her.
“Anytime, girl.” Enid said.
“So, will you go out with me?” Ajax asked.
“I will. This was too cute to say no to.” Y/N said.

So you know how Ajax has a puppy interview with buzzfeed? Instead of rushing the interview on the chapter, I write a separate drabble of just the puppy interview. Sí me entienden, verdad? “Are you trying to reject me right now?” Y/N asked incredulously. “Dude, I don’t remember what was in that letter, but I was fucking 12 years old, so whatever I wrote…I don’t feel that way anymore.”

Pairing: AU Ajax Petropolus x Hispanic!Reader
Summary: in an AU where Ajax and Y/N live in an apartment together near their college, they get into a fight and Ajax was watching the news about a car crash, the car matching Y/N’s, and Ajax gets very worried, thinking Y/N was in the accident
A/N: inspired by @luci-in-trenchcoats Jensen Ackles imagine, definitely one of my favorites. In this AU, Ajax is not a gorgon so he has his beautiful hair
Ajax and Y/N have been dating since they were 15. When they found out that they were accepted to the same college, they decided to get an apartment together near campus, both having part time jobs. The rest was paid by Ajax’s parents (the rich Greeks) but this way, Y/N didn’t feel like she was mooching off her boyfriend.
They were now 20, in their junior year of college. Ajax’s parents give the a budget to spend on groceries and other things. Y/N was making the list of groceries to get because they were almost out of milk, eggs, etc.
“Estoy jodida, there’s no way I can buy food before class tomorrow. Ajax, amor, do you have class tomorrow morning?” Y/N asked from the kitchen counter. Ajax walked out in pajama pants, with his toothbrush in hand.
“No, my Monday class doesn’t start until 5. Why?” Ajax asked before going back to the bathroom to spit and rinse.
“I need to get groceries but I don’t think I can get them before my class tomorrow and if I go around 3, there’s going to be a lot of people in shop rite or stop and shop. You think you can go?” Y/N asked. Ajax came out of the bathroom and sat next to Y/N.
“Yeah of course. When is your class tomorrow?” Ajax asked.
“It’s at 10, ends around 1, there’s enough eggs for a quick omelette with some quesadillas for us. I was planning on making lomo saltado so I need you to go to a butcher and ask for a pound of steak, unless you can find them at the grocery store, everything should be on the list, I’m already soaking the potatoes I cut in salt water so i need to make it tomorrow.” Y/N said.
“Don’t worry, I have everything handled.” Ajax said, kissing Y/N. “Now let’s get to bed so you can feel rested before your class tomorrow morning.” Ajax said and they walked into their bedroom.
Thursday morning came, Y/N left a note for Ajax to get the groceries and she drove to campus. Ajax woke up a few minutes after Y/N left when he got a phone call from his friend Kent.
“Hey Kent, what’s up?” Ajax asked.
“Hey, you think we can meet up for paintballing? Danny canceled on me and I would hate to waste a ticket.” Kent said.
“I cant, I have to get something for Y/N.” Ajax said as he made his breakfast.”
“It’ll be quick, please.” Kent said.
“Alright fine, text me the address.” Ajax said and hung up. He ate, got dressed, and went to his car to meet up with Kent.
At 1:20, Y/N arrived at the apartment.
“Ajax, did you get everything?” Y/N asked as she entered. She then saw the dirty dishes in the sink. “You couldn’t have washed the dishes? Did you take your car to the shop, I don’t see it in the garage.” Y/N walked around and saw that Ajax’s shoes was missing, there were no grocery bags, his keys were gone. “Hijo de la chingada.” Y/N said.
Ajax and Kent were on the final round and Ajax won.
“That was awesome! We have to do it again.” Ajax says.
“Come on, let’s get dressed” Kent said as they went to the locker rooms to change into their regular clothes. Ajax checked his phone to see that the time was 3:30 and he had 16 missed calls from Y/N.
“Shit, I’m dead, I gotta go, Kent, Y/N is going to kill me.” Ajax said.
“Maybe i Can say it was my fault, would that make her less mad at you?” Kent suggested.
“I doubt it.” Ajax said. He left in a hurry and arrived to the apartment to see Y/N on the couch, watching TV.
“Where the hell were you? I asked you to do one thing, Ajax.” Y/N said.
“Sorry, I was with Kent and completely forgot.” Ajax said. “You went to the grocery store?”
“Of course I did, I wasn’t going to starve and we need to stock the fridge. I bought everything because apparently you were too busy to do it.” Y/N said.
“Y/N, whats the difference between me getting the groceries in the morning with you cooking at 1:30 and you getting the groceries and cooking later? Either way, you got groceries and we have food.” Ajax said.
“The difference is instead of helping me, you goofed off. Instead of us eating TOGETHER, now I don’t have enough time to do homework until I come back from work. My shift starts in 20 minutes, I gotta go, we’ll talk about this later. Food is on the stove, when you’re finished, pour the rest in the Tupperware, put it in the fridge, and clean the pots.” Y/N said and she left. Ajax was upset because Y/N was upset. Ajax served his plate and did what Y/N asked.
It was 9pm and Y/N was getting home. She put on her pajamas and washed her face. Ajax went into the bathroom after she came out.
“Y/N, why is the floor wet?” Ajax asked.
“I was washing my face, it happens.” Y/N said.
“You couldn’t wipe it off after?” Ajax asked.
“Do you want to fight now, Ajax?” Y/N asked.
“No, of course not.” Ajax asked.
The rest of the week, Y/N and Ajax were fighting over little stuff, leaving their shoes on the floor, not washing the dishes, not wiping down the stove after frying, stuff like that. It was Saturday when it started bubbling over. Y/N had a morning shift and asked Ajax if he could vacuum the apartment and do the laundry. When Y/N came home, the floor was still dirty and their clothes were still in the laundry basket, and Ajax was playing video games.
“Turn it off Ajax.” Y/N said, walking in front of Ajax’s blocking his view from the TV.
“I’m about to win.” Ajax said and Y/N unplugged the TV. “Hey! What is your problem?”
“What’s my problem? Oh my god, my problem is you. Tengo que estar detrás de ti diciendo que es lo que tienes que hacer como si fuera tu madre (i have to be behind you, walking you what you need to do like I am your mother)! You couldn’t even vacuum? VACUUM!” Y/N shouted.
“What about you? In Thursday I had to be the one to out gas in your car because you won’t even do it until there’s a quarter left. A quarter! Wait any longer, I’d have to pick you up with a tow truck. I even cleaned out your car, why the hell did it look like the inside of your purse?” Ajax said.
“Gas prices are ridiculous and as long as the car gets me form pint a to b, who cares who clean it is? You won’t even clean the table or stove after you make yourself breakfast! I had to work while you literally do nothing!” Y/N shouted.
“I started my game 20 minutes ago! I was studying for a text I have on Wednesday and I needed a break!” Ajax shouted back.
“It’s almost 2, how come you didn’t make yourself something to eat. We’re you waiting for me to cook you something, is that it?” Y/N asked as she opened the fridge. “There’s nothing.”
“Yeah, i cant cook if there’s nothing to cook.” Ajax said.
“Is there anything in the freezer?” Y/N asked as she opened it. “There’s just ice cream. You couldn’t have gone to shop rite?”
“Oh my God, all week we’ve been fighting! Is it your period? Is that why you’ve been irritable all week?” Ajax asked and Y/N rolled her eyes.
“I can’t believe you just said that, I’m going out to get groceries myself, AGAIN, because you couldn’t be bothered to do it, AGAIN!” Y/N said, taking her car keys
“I could go and get groceries since apparently I don’t do anything.” Ajax said trying to get the keys out of Y/N’s hand.
“No no, I’ll get the groceries, I wouldn’t want to bother you while you’re studying for a test. Plus, you still have to vacuum the apartment and do laundry, unless that’s too much for you.” Y/N asked, condescendingly.
“Fine, Don’t use up too much gas.” Ajax says as he went to the living room to continue his studying and Y/N went to the garage to drive to Stop and Shop.
“Ugh, he better be in a good mood when I get back.” Y/N said. She turned on the car and her phone was connected to Bluetooth, half way through the drive to Stop and Shop, her phone died. “Chingada madre, i Don’t have the car charger. Oh well, time to drive in silence.” Y/N parked her car, got the shopping cart, and went in the store.
Ajax finished studying and moved on to do some homework. He turned on TV for some background noise and was about to change the channel when he heard something that caught his attention.
“There has been a car accident in the Hutchison Parkway, the car was a (whatever your car is, or, a light blue 2020 Honda CR-V), the driver of this car is in critical condition but we haven’t been able to inform the family members or identify the person.” The news lady said and Ajax’s heart just drops.
“That’s Y/N’s car, please Can she be alright.” Ajax got off the couch, ran into the room to where his phone was charging and called her but it went straight to voicemail.
“Hi, you’ve reach Y/N L/N, sorry I can’t come to the phone right now, leave a message.” Y/N’s voice said and Ajax panicked even more.
“Please be okay, please be okay.” Ajax said. The news was still talking about the accident and he couldn’t just sit still. He vacuumed, did the laundry, he called Y/N 5 more times in the last hour, still went straight to voicemail.
Another hour has passed and Ajax was worse, she never took this long to get food, Stop and Shop was 20 minutes away in car. Ajax felt like crying, they’ve been fighting too much, he felt like it was his fault, if they didn’t fight, if he did what he was supposed to do, she wasn’t supposed to die at 20, they were supposed to get married when they graduated.
Y/N was driving back when she saw the accident. Damn, that poor soul. She had to go to the detour route and went to a shop rite to get some of the fast meals like ramen, Mac and cheese, bertolli (freezer meal pasta, I love it), and shop rite was closer so the cold stuff won’t get warm.
Ajax was in the bedroom, watching his phone, waiting for a call from the hospital. It’s been 4 hours since Y/N left, he was about to call his parents when he heard the keys jingle.
“Y/N?” Ajax asked as he wiped his eyes.
“Papito, Can you help me with the bags? I still have more downstairs..” Y/N placed a bag down when Ajax hugged Y/N, and spun her around.
“You’re okay.” Ajax mumbled in Y/N neck, placing kisses. “Thank God you’re okay.” Ajax said, his voice breaking a little, refusing to let Y/N go.
“Mi vida, are you okay? Did something happen when I was gone.” Y/N said, trying to see him but Ajax squeezed harder, burying his head in her neck even more, Y/N then felt something wet on her neck. “Papito, why are you crying? It’s been a long day, we haven’t eaten anything, of course we were going to fight. I’m sorry I took so long, there was an accident and I had to go to another store because they didn’t have those bertolli things in Stop and Shop. Baby, I feel you shaking, want to tell me what happened?” Y/N asked. Ajax put Y/N down to look her in the eyes.
“Um, when I was doing homework, the accident was on the news, it was the same car as yours, you take that parkway to go to stop and shop, youths news lady said that driver is critical but they weren’t releasing a name, you weren’t answering your phone. Baby, I thought something happened to you. I was waiting by the phone, I was about to call my dad, I didn’t know what to do.” Ajax said, his eyes tearing up and voice breaking as he explained to Y/N
“Papito, It’s alright, I’m here now, okay? In one piece.” Y/N hugged Ajax, petting his hair.
“I know.” Ajax said. “I’ll bring up the stuff.” Ajax went downstairs to pick up the rest of the grocery bags. He came back up and placed everything in the kitchen. “I vacuumed and did the laundry. I was going to order food earlier but um…I couldn’t eat.” Ajax said as he out the groceries away. Y/N hugged Ajax from behind, leaning against his back and Ajax played with her fingers.
“We didn’t get to kiss and make up.” Y/N said. Ajax pushed her hands and away and turned around so they were facing each other.
“Can you do me a favor, my love?” Ajax asked.
“Yeah of course.” Y/N said,
“Next time we fight, please don’t drive. If you need the space, just go into our room our go to the building’s pool, but please don’t drive. I could even go the building’s gym if you really need the space until we’re both good, just don’t drive. You have no idea what was going on in my head when you weren’t answering,” Ajax said. Ajax kissed Y/N’s forehead and she hugged him again.
“I promise I won’t drive. Do you want to order some Chinese food? It’s been a long day and I think we both deserve some take out,” Y/N said.
“Of course, I love you. You know that I love you, right?” Ajax asked.
“Of course I know that you love me. Do you know I love you?” Y/N asked.
“I do.” Ajax kissed Y/N. “Okay, let’s order some food, I am absolutely starving.” Ajax said.

Summary: Y/N reminds Ajax of koala bears because of the way she clings onto him and hugs him whenever they’re together. Ajax sets up a movie date for them.
A/N: Although most Hispanic women are short, I am 5’3, I am making Y/N an elf, Wizards of Waverly Place style. In WOWP, elves are naturally charming so people are just drawn to them, you can’t help it.
Y/N was in the kitchen of Nevermore, jumping to try and reach the pot that was on the top shelf.
“Puta madre, Ajax, Can you get it down for me, please?” Y/N asked, pouting as she turned to Ajax, who was sitting at the counter watching TikTok.
“Sure, care bear.” Ajax says, getting up and reaching for the pot with ease and places it on the stove. Ajax walked back to the counter to sit.
“I hate that you’re so tall.” Y/N said as she filled the pot with water so they can eat some ramen.
“But if I wasn’t tall, how would you reach for things? Last I heard, elves don’t have telekinesis. But how awesome would that be.” Ajax said. Y/N walks to the counter and gives Ajax a hug, placing her head in the crook of his neck.
“Elves have telekinesis, I just don’t my full powers yet. After ramen, we’re going to bed.” Y/N said, giving Ajax lazy kisses.
“I’m fine with that. I’m just hungry, is the water boiling yet?” Ajax asked.
“Patience.” Y/N said. She went to the stove and noticed the water was boiling so she poured their packets of ramen in. She continued cooking until it was finished and they both ate their ramen. Ajax then washed the dishes since Y/N cooked. “Thank you, Papito. Now to bed.” Y/N said.
“Alright, come on.” Ajax said as he crouched in front of Y/N so she can climb on his back. “Time for bed, my little koala.” Ajax said and he walked to his dorm room and set Y/N on his bed.
“Okay, just give me a second.” Y/N said as she went through Ajax’s drawers to get a t-shirt to sleep in. She went to his bathroom to wash her face and do her routine because Ajax bought the products Y/N uses and leaves them there for her. “Okay, I’m ready.” Y/N said and she went under the covers to cuddle with Ajax.
“Let me do my routine, okay? Then we can cuddle all you want.” Ajax said, kissing Y/N’s forehead. He did as he said and when he was finished he went under the covers and Y/N just gravitated towards him and wrapped her arms around him.
The next morning, Ajax woke up with Y/N being on top of him. Ajax reached for his phone on the nightstand to check the time.
“Damn, care bear, wake up, we have class.” Ajax said and he shook Y/N lightly but she snuggled in more. “We have class.” Y/N wakes up very slowly.
“Can’t we just stay in bed?” Y/N asked.
“Nope, you need to go to your dorm and get dressed, after school we can watch a movie.” Ajax said. That’s when Y/N really started paying attention.
“Can we Watch Pitch Perfect?” Y/N asked.
“Anything you want.” Ajax said.
“Okay,” Y/N got up. They kissed goodbye and Y/N went to her shared dorm with Yoko and put on her uniform and did her hair in a cute hairstyle (whether your hair is curly or straight because honestly, my waves can only last so long so then I put it up in a ponytail, space buns, or something braided)
Ajax put on his uniform and sprayed on some cologne. When Ajax went into the hallway to walk to the quad for breakfast, Y/N spotted him and ran towards him to jump on his back. Ajax quickly adjusted to carry Y/N.
“I was wondering where my koala went.” Ajax said as he laughed. Ajax put Y/N down and Y/N gave him a hug. They walked to the food line, Y/N still hugging Ajax. They ate breakfast and went to class together, still holding hands, and it continued that way until classes were finished.
“Do you need help setting up the crypt for our movie tonight?” Y/N asked, hugging Ajax, her chin resting on my chest, look up at him with doe eyes.
“You think you can get the snacks?” Ajax asked.
“Of course, I’ll just head into Jericho. You gonna need anything else?” Y/N asked.
“No, I’m fine, care bear.” Ajax said, kissing her forehead. They went their separate ways, Ajax was setting up the crypt with Kent’s help, and Y/N went to the grocery store.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Y/N said when she was looking at the shelves and saw the big bag of potato chips were in the top shelf. “Ugh, I can’t even get that jumping!” Y/N groaned but then she saw Tyler Galpin walking with his dad. “Tyler, hey, can you reach that for me?”
“Yeah, sure, I’ll be right back.” Tyler told his dad and walked to where Y/N was and reached the potato chips she was pointing to. “Anything else I need to reach?” Tyler asked.
“I just needed chips and popcorn. Maybe a soda but that’s when I’m at the register, thank you!” Y/N said.
Ajax was placing the blankets and pillows on the ground to they could be comfortable.
“You think that’s fine?” Ajax asked as Kent was putting up the white screen.
“Yes, you guys will have a very cute date.” Kent said. When they finished, Y/N was walking in with her grocery bag. “Bye Y/N, have fun.”
“Thanks Kent.” Y/N said as Kent left. “I got everything, sadly the good stuff was on the top shelf so I needed Tyler’s help but I got it.” Y/N said, hugging Ajax.
“Perfect, let’s start the movie.” Ajax said. They got comfort, Y/N leaning in and hugging Ajax as he played the movie. They were snuggled up with each other, watching the movie, Y/N was singing along, it’s a very cute date.

A Cute Distraction
Pairing: Ajax Petropolus x Hispanic!Reader
Summary: Pretending Nevermore Academy is NOT a boarding school, Ajax works in the Weathervane after school, however, he gets distracted when his cute girlfriend stops by during his shift.
A/N: College is horrible, but I could use the distraction so I’m writing again! Also Y/N is a normie so they only see each other after school. This is inspired by a Jess Mariano fanfic by @fairsexynasty
Ajax was walking out of school to start his shift at the Weathervane. When he entered the cafe, he was greeted by Tyler with an annoyed look on his face.
“You’re late, Petropolus.” Tyler said, handing Ajax his apron and name tag.
“By 2 minutes, Galpin, you need to relax. How come you guys get out earlier then us Nevermore kids?” Ajax asked as he tied the apron and walked behind the counter.
“Our classes are entirely different. Can you get started with cleaning the tables?” Tyler said, as he poured the coffee into mugs to give them to a couple in the booth. Ajax got a damp rag and wiped down the tables after picking up the dishes left in the table. Half an hour after working, the bells rang and both Tyler and Ajax looked at the door. Tyler groaned in annoyance while Ajax sighed lovingly. “Great now you’ll never get anything done.”
The person at the door was Y/N L/N, Ajax’s girlfriend and also Tyler’s friend at school. Ajax and Y/N met at the fair and they’ve been dating ever since. Ajax finds her absolutely adorable and can’t get enough of her. Y/N sat at a table in the back.
“I’m on break.” Ajax said as he untied his apron and walked towards Y/N’s table.
“Nothing! You literally did nothing!” Tyler shouted as Ajax walked away. Ajax sat at Y/N’s table.
“To what do I owe pleasure of your presence, my love?” Ajax asked before giving Y/N a kiss.
“Oh you know, I came here to get some homework done, get a brownie. How’s work?” Y/N asked.
“Exhausting.” Ajax said.
“You started half an hour ago!” Tyler shouted from the booth he was taking orders for.
“Ajax, if you can focus on work while I’m here…” Y/N was going to get up but Ajax got right behind Y/N to hug her and kiss her neck.
“Please don’t leave me, I need the company.” Ajax said as he left kisses on Y/N’s neck.
“You are lucky you’re cute.” Y/N said. Ajax let go of her and Y/N sat back down. Tyler rolled his eyes and walked to their table.
“Hi, what can I get for you today? We have frappes, muffins, and apparently an open position for a waiter/barista if you don’t get your ass back to work in 2 minutes.” Tyler said, looking at Ajax while he said the last line.
“Oh come on, can’t I spend time with my girlfriend?” Ajax asked.
“Y/N, Don’t make me think about banning you from the Weathervane.” Tyler said.
“You’re so uptight, I’m just here to do homework.” Y/N said, taking out her laptop. Tyler walks away to greet other customers. “Papito, you need to work.”
“Are you saying you don’t want to spend time with your handsome Greek boyfriend?” Ajax asked, with his hand on his chest as if he’s offended,
“After you finish your shift.” Y/N said,
“Okay fine, Tyler, you win, I’m going to work!” Ajax shouted as he got up from the table to walk to the back room and put his apron back on.
“Finally!” Tyler said and Ajax rolled his eyes. Ajax continued his shift but every 10 minutes, Ajax goes to Y/N’s table to give her a quick kiss and then goes back to work. It went on like this until he finished his shift.
“I am now free, so what do you want to do?” Ajax asked Y/N as he sat down at her table.
“I Don’t know.” Y/N said. Ajax was gonna say something until Tyler sat down at their table.
“New rule, when Ajax is working you can’t come here, Y/N, he never gets anything done. You’re a distraction.” Tyler commented.
“She’s a cute distraction.” Ajax corrected Tyler.
“Whatever.” Tyler said and he left them at the table.
“So what do you say, my cute distraction, should we go get ice cream?” Ajax asked, getting up and holding out his hand for Y/N.
“Ice cream sounds good right now, let’s go.” Y/N said, grabbing his hand and walking out of the Weathervane.
