I need everyone to pretend like Hizashi's hair grew out too much cuz I somehow forgot his undercut on that drawing and I can't fix it now. Ohh my god how did I do that

I need everyone to know if I slow down posting art (might not happen given my track record thus far but it's a fair heads up) that I'm starting new classes and adjusting to the schedules. They are very labor intensive for me so it might be a hot minute.

Also if y'all wanna ask things about the AU, you totally can! I'm down to talk about it all sorts cuz it occupies most of my brain space rn

Because I don't have a large limit on words other than how much I want to say, imma yap a lot here. So example: the Ear Piercer ref is taking longer here vs how it was on Twitter cuz of this.

I do more shit with explaining because I'm not limited and I can format better over here than I can on Twitter (or even Bluesky) so I'm taking my time with it. I'll do the same with Villain!Aizawa or even other refs I'll post. I like to talk a lot and explain things.

Y'all better be ready for a yap session on here when I cross post my villain!Mic design (His villain name is Ear Piercer). It's gonna go over his support gear and some facts about him. Oh and he still has a tooth gap and freckles (don't worry he'll always have them in some capacity)

I'll preface with this -

If I ever am very vague about Ear Piercer's dislike of the media especially around younger heroes (and the unfortunate ones that may lose their lives young) think about two things:

Remember how Aizawa didn't want the kids to get bombarded with interviews after the final war when they got requests?

Remember also how Aizawa and Ear Piercer (when he was Present Mic of course) were teens who were involved in a tragedy that resulted in media coverage and interviews?

It only takes one too many questions and too many times prying for someone to break. For someone to completely snap and suddenly go MIA. To make a scene.

Even when you think it's over, when you think nothing bothers you, something can and WILL snap.

Wanted to add rq:

Y'all can have any HC for the song Shōta requested. The one I will say I listened to while I drew it was "Mr. Blue Sky" by Electric Light Orchestra. I named the file "Hey You With The Pretty Face" cuz of that.

I'll also be doing the extra aftermath after the event is over because I have to do some extra work this week and I still want time to do the last prompt!

Villain!EMic thoughts (to be added to when cross posting from Twitter)

I've been having villain!EMic thoughts lately (if you follow me on Twitter I posted a stupid thing today about it after that piece I did) and y'know I really think this might be the only universe other than the one in which Oboro doesn't die that Aizawa and Mic can actually drift apart without being on bad terms.

These two, in the main canon I use for most of my artwork, are absolutely NOT on good terms in their early 20s. They aren't even together in their early 20s, they are broken tf up because long distance didn't work for them at all.

The villain one involves them (so far I might change this) drifting apart because they lost contact. Mic changed his phone number after Oboro died (years later btw they texted but stopped once Aizawa kinda didn't want to think about their friend anymore) and Aizawa fucked off to god knows where.

They both became villains because they had to witness their friend pass away and both could not cope with it for shit. Neither of them decided to get together (unlike my main canon. They're friends to lovers to exes to friends to lovers there) and they meet again at a goddamn bus stop. There's more to this that I have to cross post over here but it's the most awkward thing ever because Mic didn't realize he was talking to Aizawa (disheveled villain!Aizawa my beloved) and accidentally confessed his feelings.

So he's pouring out his heart and soul to a guy he thinks is a stranger until Aizawa moves his hair a bit and he realizes "oh. SHIT." So one hour long (Mic's was a whole hour, Aizawa got off 30 minutes into the bus ride) awkward bus ride and a sneaky slip of his number into Aizawa's pocket later and they are talking again.

I really want to expand on this more btw because they do get together and have a kind of strange dynamic (still in love with each other and it's still a bit complicated but it's not entirely emotional constipation all over the place. That's still a thing but there's a lot of "taking out hard feelings" on people who make them angry) and I also want to explore the shit outta villain!Mic and villain!Aizawa. They are dear to me.

Can it be April already? I want the Vigilantes anime to come out. I'm also enjoying that official art of Mic for it HIS HAIR MAKES HIM LOOK SO LITTLE. THE TINIEST EVER OMG.

I wish we could get a hair down of Hizashi. Any Hizashi at this point JUST ONE TIME PLEASE I PRAY. He could have shorter hair and it would be so cute.

Also someone pointed out on Twitter that it looks like Aizawa straightens his hair and now I can't unsee it.

When I finish all of my writing assignments I'm gonna yell into the void about my HCs but starting with Hizashi's eyes. I usually don't talk about it much but I'll tease it a bit:

For most of his life, he's worn green contacts or just not shown his eyes very much. He's both insecure about his red eyes and also afraid he'll scare someone. To hell that red eyes are a feature many people around him have, he's afraid he's scary to people.

This rotates in my mind a lot so that's why he has two different eye colors in certain drawings. Especially with Mic vs Hizashi. Mic usually has the green and Hizashi has the red. It ties into other things too but I can't go on a deep dive ramble or I'll never get my work done.

Hey if anything like art or random posts slow down in the coming days: I'm going back to college for this new semester!

If y'all send/sent me asks I'll get to them when I can, I'm currently trying to situate myself where I can actually do more this semester since it is the last one before my senior year. I'm also not doing too great regarding uhh all the shit happening in the world and especially in my own country (partially talked about it in November, I don't want to talk about it again) so I'll try to again post and respond when I can!

I do have plans for at least Valentine's Day so I hope to get that out if I can. Anyway, I hope I'll be better at posting and also be able to still post a lot when it comes to what the semester lets me do!

Tryna finish something before my time gets partially eaten up by college again. I go back next Tuesday 😭

I'm about to become insufferable (I'm writing up my HCs for EMic family dynamics).

Heads up to those that don't know: Hitoshi both does and doesn't live with Shōta and Hizashi because in my brain, he lives with some family members! He lives with his uncle, aunt and four cousins in which his family is known for having varying types of emitter quirks! The only one that doesn't have an emitter is the "technical" second oldest cousin, she was adopted and has a transformation quirk.

I'll add names and quirks in another post but to give the jist (I haven't posted this to Twitter yet, heads up anyone who follows me there) his parents did pass away in an accident and that's why he lives with his uncle and aunt instead of his parents or in the foster system.

So his dynamic works as his dad's older brother is taking care of him with his wife and he helps take care of some of the younger kids when they can't. It's not a requirement, he doesn't get hurt physically but he does have a hard time as he along with his older cousin have to take care of three other family members.

I'm also drawing out the family trees for Aizawa, Yamada and Shinsō family lineages specifically. If anyone wonders, Eri does also stay with EMic but she is also taken care of by other members of staff when they can't fulfill duties as parents because, y'know, Hizashi has three jobs and Shōta is sometimes very busy.

Anyway I'll expand on a lot of this in another post because I'm about to ramble too much. I love their family dynamic and other stuff dearly!!

I am so sorry in advance to anyone who potentially has notifs on for me if any of yall do I'm about to spam the shit outta you.

So the Vigilantes anime teaser dropped... I may have lost my mind on Twitter mb. ANYWAY who wants some Midnight and Shinshima (Shinsō x Kirishima) because they are currently occupying my brainspace? I would do Emic and Oboro but they occupy a small space in my brain rn and idk when they'll fully be in that area again 😅

Finals are officially over for me. I turned in my last paper yesterday now time to put back on the clown shoes and make goofy shit mixed with angst

What is one or more things everyone seems to get wrong about present mic?/what mischaracterisation of present mic pisses you off the most?

I talked about this on Twitter but art is gonna be a bit slow for a bit because I have a lot of shit I have to finish for my classes and unfortunately, I didn't space out my time correctly (my own fault btw) but like I really have to get all of these done within like the next two weeks.

I'll still probably have art afterward because if I don't draw I'll probably die of insanity from not drawing things I want to draw but I won't post them right away. After finals n stuff I'll be back to posting goofy shit but rn I have to be an adult more than I usually am.

I hope y'all know I'm not uh changing my main fandom rn. I might return to TOH at some point but I'm still heavily stuck in MHA/BNHA like this anime/manga series consumes me. There's no way I can hop back and forth rn. I tried, that's how I got fully sucked into MHA again like I did in 8th grade around July.

They are right, the fandom you had when you were 13 does come back to haunt you. Cuz I'm 20 now and MHA is what came back to haunt me /pos
