Silly Game Time: Who are some of your favorite magician characters? And what do you like about them?

They can be of any class or variety of magic-user (wizard, witch, sorcerer, warlock, healer, druid, etc.), of any race or species, so long as using magic is *primarily* their thing in the story. Not just something they do occasionally, but something that is a major element of their role and their identity.

Prob Fathom or turtle as amimuses. Idk I just love anxious, powerful characters who are to scared to use their powers because they don't wanna hurt others and their main plot point I'd finally realizing that they can use their powers as tools to help the people they love and their powers don't shape them as characters.

Emerald Dragon

A small emerald carved in the shape as a dragon. The item allows the wielder to shapeshift as the please 3 times every dawn. This was made by an animus as a gift to the training royals.

Eminence is a firescales caretaker and ex-animus. Like, ehh, fluttershy from mlp? but for kids that literally set everything ablaze when they touch it?

Executioner wasp is an ex-soldier from bloodworm hive. Those scars are from her dad (he was not happy about her lack of stripes). As is visible, she has no black scales; her grandpa was a silkwing :)
