I like to think Kunikida is aroace or at the very least on that spectrum.

This is the hill I will passively sit on as I watch everyone else fight to their deaths.

J'ai l'impression qu'il y a aucune personnes aroace en france, je sais que non évidemment mais en une vingtaine d'années je n'en ai jamais rencontrées...

(À part un mec ace et une fille bi ace au lycée)

Honnêtement, je me sens seul.e à cause de la pression allonormative et amanormative en ce moment parce que je suis entouré.e que de personnes allos (et horny asf, elles me mettent mal à l'aise tous les jours 💀) dont beaucoup d'entre eux sont en couple.

Ça plus la télé et les réseaux sociaux, bref, internet et les représentations des allos dans la généralité. 😒

Ça m'étouffe et le fait de n'avoir aucune personne aroace dans mon entourage pour souffler de l'air frais et se comprendre sur ce sujet est frustrant...

Et tout ça me montre à quel point je veux tellement être en relation queer platonique avec une autre personne aroace encore plus que d'habitude...

Au moins en rencontrer une et être amis serait incroyable.

Is there a country where arocace people can feel safe, are not discriminated against and are protected ?? Especially a law that protects us or etc ?

I know that anglophone aroace people talk about Denmark because there are apparently a lot of people on the aro and ace spectrums.

A lot of the time when I see people talk about aromanticism they bring up the way a lot of us tend to think that romance is just exaggerated in fiction and are surprised that people feel that way in real life and not just in the movies and that's honestly kind of funny, imagine just going about your life and one day finding out that most people's high school years were actually like disney channel and you're the exception

Since I posted this, another of my closest friends came out as aroace.

I’m quickly running out of allo people I know more than tangentially.

I‘ve been wondering about something. Last year, I found out that being asexual was a thing, not just a quirk of mine… then realized that five of my friends already privately or publicly identified as such. Consider that: asexuals are estimated to make up about 1% of the population yet account for about 40% of my friends. Is that just a weird coincidence, are ace people more likely to gravitate toward each other (due to their likely disinterest in certain topics of conversation or general vibes or goodness knows what), did the experts significantly underestimate how many asexuals there are, or some combination of the three? I suspect it’s the third but I’m not sure to what extent each thing is a factor. Any thoughts?

Arthuriana has so many major aspec characters, and it’s fabulous

Here are a few characters who I interpret as aspec:

Dinadan!!! He is an absolute aroace icon. In a source whose name has slipped my mind, Isolde comments on how he ought to be in a relationship and his reaction is something along the lines of, “Yeah, hard pass. How’s that working out for you, by the way?” (Read it with sarcasm).

Galahad, Bors, and the Grail Heroine all seem quite happy about the eternal chastity thing. None of them have any close calls with demon ladies, unlike poor Percival, the one allo person in the friend group. (Yes, Bors has a son, but a cursed ring was involved there, which is why as much as I do not stand Bors’ Morte misogyny, I will always pity him).

Kay is very rarely ascribed romantic relationships, and in one Welsh source, his father prophesies that Kay’s heart will be “eternally cold”, which could be interpreted as never enflamed by love.

Any others who come to mind?

guys, I think I might be AroAce…I’m not sure, but I need time to think about it. Cause AroAce people feel little/to no romantic or sexual attraction. Sometimes I feel like I wish I had a relationship whenever I feel lonely, like for example, whenever I watch the Robots movie and whenever I watch it, I always say that I want a relationship like Fender and Loretta. And I’ve had crushes before (on fictional characters), but now I don’t. I don’t have a desire to have sex, but depending on if I find the right person, I might. Same thing with romance. But if I go through my life without any romance or sex, then I’d be fine with it. But I would consider romance and sex if I found the right person. Maybe I’m cupioromantic, idk tbh
