Ik it doesn’t make sense at all but in my head James Potter is amazing at every sport, like he just loves all sports and always has motivation, and talent, for them.
Maybe he got the muddy, hands in dirt, playing in the rain, speed, stamina, side from Monty and the adrenaline, need to be great, power, skill, side from Effie.
Or maybe it’s just greatness he always had, but in my head under whatever circumstances he is just good at sports

Blair Waldorf x Reader - "A Moment in Time"
The soft glow of the late afternoon sun filtered through the windows of Blair Waldorf's Upper East Side apartment, casting a golden sheen on the velvet curtains. The city hummed just outside, but inside, there was only peace. You and Blair were sitting on her plush couch, a cozy moment in an otherwise chaotic life. Her head rested against your shoulder, her long lashes fluttering as she half-heartedly scrolled through her phone.
"Can you believe it's almost the end of the week?" Blair sighed, her voice wrapped in the usual hint of frustration that only Blair could master. "I’ve barely had time to think about anything but that dreadful event at the museum."
You smiled, brushing a strand of her glossy hair from her face. "You always find a way to make it perfect, Blair. You’ll be brilliant as always. Besides, you deserve a break. Maybe we can do something—just the two of us—after the event?"
Blair’s lips quirked into a small, teasing smile as she turned her head slightly to meet your gaze. "I do like the sound of that." She paused, eyes glimmering. "As long as it’s something that doesn’t involve me fighting off a crowd of sycophants."
"Deal," you laughed, knowing Blair’s tendency to seek solitude after events, preferring a quieter, more intimate evening rather than the usual sea of socialites.
Blair shifted closer, curling her legs beneath her. She tucked her head into your neck, breathing in your scent as if it was the only thing that could calm her. Her warm presence against you felt like a shield against the world, and you were more than happy to be her safe haven.
"How do you always know exactly what I need?" Blair murmured, her voice soft, almost vulnerable. She rarely let her guard down, even with you, but in these quiet moments, you got to see the side of Blair that was so deeply caring and, yes, sometimes a little bit fragile.
You placed a gentle kiss on her temple. "I think I just know you, Blair," you said, your hand gently smoothing the fabric of her dress. "And I know you’re always putting others first. But you deserve to take a moment for yourself. Especially with everything you do."
Blair’s eyes flickered up to meet yours, and for a moment, the world outside disappeared. All that mattered was the two of you, in this little bubble of intimacy and warmth. She held your gaze with a mix of admiration and something softer—something that said she was so thankful to have you in her life.
“You always make me feel like I’m more than just the things people expect of me,” she said quietly. "Like I'm enough, just as I am."
Your heart fluttered. You cupped her face gently, running your thumb over her cheek in a tender gesture. "You are more than enough, Blair. You are everything I need. Always."
Her breath hitched slightly at the intensity of your words, and for a moment, Blair Waldorf, the queen of the Upper East Side, seemed to melt into you. Her hand reached up to rest on yours, and she gave a small, almost shy smile.
"I think I’ve said this before," she said, her voice soft and teasing, "but I may just be the luckiest girl in New York."
You chuckled, brushing your lips over her forehead. "And I’m the luckiest girl in the world, having you."
Blair’s smile widened, her eyes softening as she leaned into you even more. “I’m starting to think that, too,” she whispered, her fingers tracing small circles on your hand as the two of you sat in comfortable silence, wrapped in each other’s warmth.
Outside, the world carried on, but for now, everything was perfect. Just the two of you, surrounded by nothing but love and the promise of more quiet moments together.

You sighed turning off your TV, your girlfriend's team lost there game againist Iowa and it was a bad loss. You didn't go to this game when usually go to all of them, today you were modeling for Dior and it was around the same time as the game. Luckily you got home in time to turn your TV on and see who won, sadly it wasn't Uconn. You grabbed your phone immediately going to text your girl.
You scoffed at the dry messages from your girlfriend saying she will come over later. You knew Paige was going to be in a bad mood, because of the game. She hated feeling like she couldn’t do what she loved.
Groaning you get from the couch and walk over to your closet, grabbing Paige's hoodie you slip it on over your tank top. The hoodie slides down your knees but you don't mind that it's too big, that fact that it is Paige's it brings you comfort. You lay down on your bed and scroll through TikTok seeing people have already started talking about UConn's big loss rolling your eyes you exit the app and start watching YouTube.
Around a half hour later you hear your door open and you see your girlfriend walk in with her shoulders slumped, defeated. You rush up to her and wrap your arms around her shoulders pulling you closer to her. Paige hugs you tighter as if you might disappear. You rock back and forth " I'm so tired baby " Paige mumbles not moving to pull away from you at all. Nodding your " I know Paigey come on wanna lay down? " you ask her moving your arms from her shoulders standing up straight bending your head back to look at her. Paige looks down at you and nods, grabbing your hand pulling you back to your bed. She kicks her shoes off and lays her head on your chest.
You play with her hair " Wanna talk about it Paige? " you ask running your hands through her blonde hair. She shakes her head and squeezes your waist " Not really I just wanna be here with you " she mumbles.
You nod and pull her closer to you continuing to play with her hair. Paige leans her head up and looks at you " How was your day baby? The photoshoot? " she asks wanting to think of anything but the game. You smile and cup her cheek " It was good, they really liked me and want me to come model again for them. My day could have been better if I was with you, I missed you all day " Paige smiles at your words.
She puts her big hand on your head and pats your head " That's good baby " she says looking down at your lips before kissing you softly. You kiss back smiling into the kiss. You hear a knock on your door and Paige groans as you get up and go to the door.

Opening the door you see Nika standing out there looking down at you unshed tears in her eyes. Immediately you pulls her down into a hug " What's wrong? " you ask her concerned for your best friend. Nika shakes her head and mumbles something you can't hear. You pull her inside your dorm and close the door, Paige smiles sadly at Nika " I know the game was bad it's not your fault " Paige tells the other basketball player. Nika nods " Still we could have done better. I could have done better " she says disappointed. Going into the freezer you grab some ice cream and a few spoons before sitting on your bed motioning Nika to come too. You sit in the middle of the two girls and hand them spoons and turn on the TV to watch Shameless. Nika smiles at you and kisses your head " I love this show thank you " she mumbles.
You and Paige eat a few spoons of ice cream before hanging it Nika so she can the rest. Paige leans her head on your shoulder and kisses your neck, you push her off " Stop Paige our friend is right there " you whisper to the girl shaking your head. Paige groans and looks at Nika " Your the biggest cockblock you know that right? " Paige asks sarcastically.
The Croatian girl shakes her head " No Y/n is my best friend before you even started dating so I get first dips on her " she says smirking. Paige makes a face " No I'm the girlfriend I get first dips " she demands.
Groaning you look at both of them " How about I get first dips on myself thanks very much. Also Nika is single, she's lonely so Paige be nice to her please " you say. Paige flips you off as Nika moves to the couch eating the ice cream. As you lay with Paige she wraps an arm around you from behind " Your the best you know that " Paige says. Turning over you face her " No you are, I know you're disappointed from today but you will do so much better next game. Learn from your mistakes you the best player out there along your team and it was one off game it didn't define you. " you tell Paige brushing a loose strand behind her ear.
A tear leaves Paige's eyes and she wipes it fast and kisses you " I love you so much you always know what to say to me " she says pulling you into a tight hug. You smile and kiss her shoulder before turning back around to watch the show on TV. Paige rolls her eyes behind you and pulls you flush against her and closes her eyes and she slowly falls asleep.

Steve pulled out all the stops for Eddie's birthday when he worked with Erica to create a oneshot D&D campaign and managed to get everyone to join in (some blackmail was involved) and Robin secretly worries about Steve being disappointed or upset if Eddie doesn't do something similar for his birthday, everyone knows Steve's and Eddie's hobbies don't really align
so colour her shocked when she's yanked out of bed by Eddie bright and early on Steve's birthday and is forced into the closest thing she owns to gym clothes and is marched down to a basketball court that Eddie has rented for the whole day
she watches in amazement as Eddie divides them all into teams, letting Steve pick whoever he wants (naturally he picks Robin first even if she'll be no help) and they split into two teams of six, with Eddie somehow wrangling the position of referee even though he only knows the basics of how basketball works, and the kids don't even fuss that much, there's barely a complainant about how they're about to have to play sports all day, they all seem to be begrudgingly going along with it, apart from Lucas and El who are practically bouncing with excitement
Steve is clearly having the best time, running up and down the court and yelling and cheering, a little red in the face because he hasn't done this for a while but constantly yanking his teammates and even those on the other team into excited hugs and handing out back slaps and high fives like a little puppy, he even tries to chest bump with Robin who gives it a go then immediately regrets it and Steve throws himself at Eddie once the game is over
Robin asks later and Eddie tells her that Lucas was kind enough to sit down and explain the game and the rules because Eddie had been trying to make it up to him over not cancelling Hellfire because of his basketball game and being a dick about it and he'd been going to games with Steve and seen how much Steve enjoyed it and yeah Eddie hates organised sports but a game between the Party and the Older Party is hardly organised so as soon as Steve pulled out a whole D&D campaign for him he knew he had to get on Steve's level for his birthday
Robin gives Eddie permission to marry Steve that day
