not giving an option to bow out, or 'its complicated' choice cause its a simple question. either you're black or you're not. i don't like 'one drop rule'/blood quantum bullshit but for the sake of simplicity, if you have at least one parent that is black (monoracial or biracial); then you are black.
Shout out to all the Black ppl that can no longer participate directly in the fandom they love because of the stresses of racism 👍🏾 you contain multitudes of value and I'm sorry that the color of your skin and the power of your voice makes people not want to acknowledge that.
