But yeah to put it simply it’s sort of an evolved form of a flower I remember from the show TBGO

The tunnel

CW: just blooming madness so- yeah

Tug took a few items from her pod and put them all in her backpack. Counting them she muttered to herself.

“Flashlight, that… Oh yeah one of those definitely and-“

“Done! Packed and ready.”

Throwing the backpack over her shoulder the troll went over to her windows and pulled the curtains down. They were ragged but good enough, hopefully wouldn’t give anything away.

Stepping out of her pod she used her hair to descend, landing on the ground. Glancing around she began to push through the growth and heading out to the forest.

It felt so lifeless the further along she went. The creatures that usually chirped were staying silent, felt like a warning sign but she didn’t take it as one.

Stepping over creeks and crossing from thicket to thicket she made it to a a closed off space. Almost the entire place was overgrown from bushes and trees, as if they didn’t want to let anyone know of its existence.

Gentle steps were taken towards the mound of dirt. There were roots of a tree growing out from there.

The covered tunnels should’ve been a warning but she dug. Digging til her hand felt the warm air hit.

Forcing her way through she stepped into the tunnel. It was bigger than she imagined.

Reaching for her flashlight- suddenly she froze as her eyes saw something.

It was staring right at her. Her body froze, as if she couldn’t move. The breath leaving her body was shivering.

Tug opened her eyes. She was in the tunnel. Her backpack a few steps away from her.

Feeling the sudden dread build up she left the place- though her mind felt hazy. Picking up her backpack she coughed. Her eyes didn’t dare look back when she left in fear of not being the only thing watching.

I made a discord for a Branch support group on discord but I eventually added brozone support group and a creek one into the mix. If you want I can give ya an invite meanwhile take a origin creek

A little thing for how the infection spreads, may be a little body horror-ish

Stage one of the infection, mistaken for a flu but is far worse- can stay dormant for as long as needed

The aggression begins to kick in and their memory is starting to become hazy- leaves start to sprout in hair and paws become sharper, their eyes not working as well

Aggressive tendencies increase, prone to biting and clawing at anything in their way by this stage- starting to lose their sight and relying on hearing and smell

The infected individual does not exist. Only the flower. Desperately it claws at the ground and attacks those who interrupt it

Um- idk why the hell my first post on it is suddenly blowing up but like I ain’t complaining
