Ok so I had some issues but it's turning out!! I'll do touch ups later but the cover is done!!!

I want to try so many little hobbies. Candle making, soap making, basket weaving, wood carving, book binding, baking, weaving, I want to try them all.
I bound my first book! It was so much fun and I plan on making more as gifts for my family. The stitching is a little wonky, and I cheated on some of the smaller pages but I love how it turned out! I learned so much about books and how they are made from @sealemon 's YouTube channel. Please check out her content!

Okay I know this isn’t Redwall but I gotta be obsessed with this on main for a hot second. Inkheart is also one of my favorite series of all time and this is absolutely gorgeous
New bind is a rebind of one of my favorite childhood books (and series). I actually wanted to throw this in the fire bc the HTV took me FOUR fucking hours, but overall it turned out neat.
Turns out my last brick and mortar supplier no longer carries one of the essential pieces that I need for books; didn't find this out until about a week after i ran out and finally was able to get to the store. So .. purchased it online. Long story short, i hate fedex and over two weeks later (almost a month since I ran out) I finally have that missing piece. So... ALL of these got spine work today and I'm looking at this thinking.... I'm actually going to run out of books to work on by the end of the week!!! It feels good because my bookshelf is rocking right now, and it was so much fun, and massive love to the authors who gave me the green light; I hope they all love their pieces! <3 I've changed the way I've done quite a few things from this summer, and it was great to just get a chance to get back into book making. I hadn't realized how much I missed it. And... I *really* suck at leaving feedback, and it seemed the best way to show these novelists just how much their work meant to me. After this set, I'll probably take a book break and get caught up on some cross-stitch, but 2021? Dark brown is getting its first spine glued. The next up, bottom in the white boards, has had its spine molded and is being pressed into shape. Front pages are printed, gonna let the pages cool and probably finishing print the back of the pages tomorrow.
Then its trouble shooting time because my color printer keeps messing up the margins so I got a dozen or so pages to print.
Then this weekend will be folding and searching for the perfect end pages. I'm running out of shops that I know locally and still haven't found the right patterns....
