A rewriting of the scene between the Mondrich and Benedict (and the introduction of someone 👀)

-as Benedict stop talking someone scoff-

Mystery guy

Oh please what nonsense.

-Benedict turns around, surprised-

-as he walk to join the conversation-

Please Lord Bridgerton do tell me. Do tell me do you see Lord and Landy Afwrich?

Mystery guy

Benedict looks perplexed

If my memory is good it has been two years they haven't been seen. They were incredibly impolite always with eachother, really never talked with anyone... Now I wonder, pray tell me mister Bridgerton you know the Chatilley right ?

Benedict

-smiles as he knows he's winning-

- Benedict seems to come to a realisation. The mystery guy smiles emphatically to M and Ms Mondrich-

(to the Mondrich)

But you should ask lady Cowper miss and mister Mondrich, she knows a great deal about them and their red nose. But oh well you won't see them.

M and Ms Mondrich I think you know better than everyone how... fragile the great experiment is. How old people kinda stay... attached to their values.

-the Mondrich looks at eachother then at the mystery guy-

- Benedict looks highly offended-

I can imagine that people were hard with you and they will continue to be harder and harder.I beg of you to think about your children, especially Lord Kent... Do not listen to a man with such a name that his family get the privilege to erase every scandal that seems to happens every week in their household.

Benedict

Now excuse me bu-

- he gets cut off as a Lady arrives-

-ensues everyone bowing to each other and the Lady being named Lady Roseton-

Benedict (still offended)

-The Mondrich looks at him as he looks and sounds quite mad, he smiles-

And what a suspicious french name for someone with such a good English accent.

Oh I feel so alone with my husband and all my children dead or away... And I know, It's probably a secret identity but he's a good french teacher so who cares.

-She chuckles and And M Beauchateau chuckles too-

M Beauchateau

C'mon Madame we must make hast it's getting late for you.

-They both leaves with Lady Roseton's hand on his arm, he looks back at Benedict and smirks-

Rewritting of Bridgertons

First of I want to say that it is in no way me bashing Julia Quinn. She has wrote a popular book series that she managed to put on the screen and for that she deserves alot of respect.

BUT

The books are a hot messes for many, many, many reasons, the three last one are ok but still quite questionable.

(I am obviously in no way claiming to be a better writter or that what I'll do will be good but I decided to rewrite and change what I didn't like and what I think could do better. )

Important information about this rewrite :

As I had hard time with honestly any of the love interest, ESPECIALLY, the boys one (with the exception of my boy Gregory, you were boring but cute) and that I felt like the women character had honestly a waste of potential I will change all of them a LOT. I will also rant about why I didn't like them in the first place.

As the books are so messy I also consider the series as canon and I have a lot of confusion about the way the society and great experiments was done ?! Like honestly WASTED potential.

This will NOT be historically accurate my dear friends purely fictional as I'll state multiple time.
