fic 1: the harmony of murder
Fairy tale this, fairy tale that. As much as Chase and Deacon loved the easiness of doing short stories, it was starting to bore the duo. One day, they were looking through the old boxes that were in the off corner of the tower, and they found a book, but not just any book. They had found a murder mystery book that took place in the early 1920s. Deacon took notes over the story for the next few days but Chase was starting to get tired of waiting, so right before Deacon could get to the end, they took what they knew and jumped in. What could go wrong?

But we've got confirmation! Buddy was indeed jealous and I just love the way he rejects the idea in the second panel. It looks like he's trying to look like he doesn't care when he actually cares a lot and it's fun to see it play out!
